Where to begin? I have followed Jessie's photography on various social media platforms for years and years. I have always loved her beautiful phots and have enjoyed watching her personal and professional growth over the years. I wasn't convinced that I would ever get married, but I knew that if I did meet the right partner, she'd be my #1 choice for my wedding photographer. Well, as luck would have it, I did meet the right guy and we decided to get elope at SF City Hall, no where near Jessie's LA base. It was a long shot, but I reached out to her and my luck endured-- she agreed to shoot our elopement! None of us knew what would come next. Our wedding was scheduled for March 13, 2020. In the week leading up to it, a global pandemic was declared. The situation was changing rapidly and we were unsure whether we would still be able to get married. Jessie was committed to shooting our wedding so long as it was safe and reasonable to do so. Our luck held out just a little bit longer, and our wedding was allowed to proceed and there weren't yet any travel restrictions in place. Jessie arrived in SF the night before our wedding. By the time she met us at the scheduled 9am start shooting time, she had already scoped out City Hall, found the best entrance, and planned out the best locations to shoot. She captured the fun and mishaps of us as we got ready at our hotel, was kind enough to actually drive us to City Hall in her rental car, and was taking pictures every possible moment she could from us walking across the street to City Hall to walking back to the parking spot after our wedding. There wasn't a moment wasted! And for two people as uncomfortable in front of a camera as my husband and I were, Jessie truly made it all feel easy and fun. She gave great direction, knew what poses to capture, but also caught candid moments between poses. The resulting pictures and slideshow really tell the story of our beautiful day and the story of us. 3 days after our wedding, SF issued its shelter-in-place orders. CA followed not long after. We feel so lucky and privileged to have had that one perfect day before the world changed and even luckier that we had such a wonderful person behind the camera to capture it.

Jessie did a phenomenal job from beginning to end. She embodies everything you want in a wedding photographer - she is super communicative and answers all questions so that you're not left wondering about how the day is going to go. She takes all different styles of shots: candid/emotional shots, fun/laughing shots, portrait/posed shots, cinematic/we look like movie stars shots, and of course the little details (flowers, cake, decor, rings, etc.). She goes over and beyond in making sure you're enjoying the day and not worried about logistics. And lastly, she delivers with exceptional editing of the final products. I love the thoughtful touch of providing a sneak peak slideshow TWO DAYS after your wedding. That turnaround time is freaking amazing, ya'll. Every time I go through our photos, I'm immediately transported back to that special day. Thank you, Jessie! You are such an awesome human being and photographer!!!

Jessie and her husband Gus, were probably the most fun an professional people to work with during my wedding. From the very first email Jessie makes you feel energized and confident that your day will be captured beautifully. She is extremely easy to talk to, will never make you feel pressured, will often make you laugh, and will add more joy to your wedding day than you thought a photographer could. Thank you Jessie for helping my wife and I feel like we were the only ones on the beach and for capturing our family dinners most tender stories. My wife and I will remember you forever.

We hired Jessie for our elopement at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. She couldn’t have been more wonderful. She knew the venue inside and out, knew where the best shots were and was easy to work with. She was great at capturing spontaneous moments as well as directing us to best shots.

Jessie and her crew are AMAZING! I can't tell you how many compliments we have received on our wedding photos. My sister had a bad experience not getting the photos she wanted on her special day and we wanted to make sure we had the best...and we did! Jessie did both engagement and wedding photos for us and did a phenomenal job doing both. I definitely recommend the engagement photo shoot because it gets you comfortable with the camera and really helped us get to know Jessie! She made us feel SO comfortable and somehow managed to get the BEST photos on the day of, while not stealing us away too long from our guests. We continually look back at our photos and couldn't be happier! Every payment and contract was super easy to navigate through online as well!

Hands down the best decision we could've made! Jessie was patient and answered all of our questions and more! We met with four different photographers, and after our meeting with Jessie, we felt confident that she would look out for us on our wedding day. She would be the photographer that would capture all the special moments throughout the day. We fell in love with her photography style! Even before our meeting, we were impressed by Jessie's prompt responses to our questions (this is especially important when you are trying to plan a wedding and need answers). We had our engagement session with Jessie in March, and we love our engagement pictures!! It's a good thing when you can look back at those pictures and can't help but smile. I had the opportunity to see Jessie in action at my best friend's wedding. Let's just say Jessie saved the day with safety pins for one of the bridesmaids. When the photographer has safety pins and other essentials, you know you are in good hands! Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she is also prepared for accidents outside her scope of work! It was these small details that reassured us we would be in good hands. Definitely worth the investment! My husband and I can’t stop praising Jessie with compliments as we show our friends and family our wedding pictures. She superseded our expectations. I met Jessie through a mutual friend, who’s also a photographer. She advised me not skimp on the wedding pictures. As she said at the end of the day the moment goes by so fast the only thing you are left with are your wedding pictures as memories. In our initial conversation, Jessie patiently listened to our story, details of our wedding ambiance and the components that were important to have photographed. She’s such an uplifting and positive person who makes you feel super comfortable from the start. After our first call I was so excited and instantly knew we were hiring her. Jessie immediately sent me sample galleries of weddings she had photographed. Her originality and professionalism stand out in her work. She does an amazing job of telling a story of the special event. A month or so before the wedding, it got real. I was asking Jessie questions left and right and very graciously she responded promptly to all my emails. On the day of our wedding, Jessie arrived an hour earlier than scheduled. We had a couple of hiccups before our first look and the ceremony. Jessie responded with such ease and coolness, “These things happen at weddings”. Oh my gosh, my panic level dropped to zero. Jessie’s efficiency and organization was impeccable. She was working from beginning to end. She gave us great instructions, which look so natural in the photos, and took priceless candid shots of us and our guests. Jessie really loves what she does and goes the extra mile. We had her all over the place, from walking to the beach for our couple’s pictures, back to the venue then back out to the beach for sunset photos, back to the venue and back outside for our staged grand exit. Even as she was packing up to leave, she took out her camera to capture a shot of my 92-year-old step-father and I dancing. Love her for that!! As you may imagine, we were anxious to see our pictures after the wedding. A week after our wedding, she shared a sneak peek. We felt like were looking at a magazine photo shoot. We looked incredible. Jessie is truly an expert of her trade. On our one-month anniversary, she shared our full wedding gallery. OMG, watching the slideshow with my husband sparked an emotional explosion! We still look at the slideshow and pictures and tear up. I wish we had other big events to hire Jessie again. We needed to do a quick engagement shoot in California before moving to Minnesota and Jessie was great! When I found out my dream location had been altered she worked with me to find alternatives and we even managed to get some shots with the location I originally wanted in the background. We felt comfortable with her very quickly as she’s friendly and open about the process. The pictures came out great! We have a good variety of poses, lighting, and colors to choose from. Very pleased with everything!

I am so proud to say that I had the best wedding photographer out there! My husband and I spent hours researching, and it was worth it to find Jessie. She was beyond personable from the start, she worked extra with us since we were out of the country while planning, and she made us feel so natural and comfortable in front of the camera. It’s hard to find someone with amazing skills, AND good communication, but Jessie has both. The photos turned out perfect (and I am hard to please). Her photo composition, and editing style is all flawless! She truly captured our wedding day with perfection and ease. Her husband was an amazing addition as a second shooter as well.

If you’ve found Jessie, you are beyond lucky, don’t question this luck, just book her!! You think you’ll be super organised & together when the big day arrives, we were the opposite (getting to Griffith Observatory before 7am didn’t help but, was totally worth it :)). Jessie was so relaxed & knew exactly what she was doing and where we should be doing it, our nerves melted away. We loved that even though she had shot at this location many times, she was open to our last minute request to shoot more around the beautiful architecture of the observatory than going into the hills. On the spot she had ideas & locations that gave us the most stunning photographs. She has an amazing eye for catching ‘moments’, for example at one point we all stopped for a coffee (thats how relaxed Jessie made our day) and she caught some of the most stunning pictures through the window of the coffee shop!!! I made a joke at our first meeting that we really only needed 1 good photo & Jessie clearly saw that as a challenge…we were absolutely spoiled for choice. Friends and family were just blown away to see our wedding photographs and many of them commented that it looked like we were the only people in LA that day, and thats honestly how it felt. From the beginning Jessie was enthusiastic, friendly & encouraging. As we eloped, just the 2 of us, Jessie was the only other person involved in our full wedding day & we couldn’t of made a better choice. Thank you, Jessie…now we're off to look at our photos all over again :)

There is no stress with this photographer! Jessie Caballero is fantastic at what she does, and the temperament with which she does it exudes confidence, care and calm. Jessie is very responsible. We talked weeks before the wedding by phone and over email about what my expectations were for the event. She listened, and then sent along her own in-depth questionnaire to glean more necessary information in order to be extremely prepared for the big day. On our wedding day, Jessie arrived at the site early. She brought a second shooter with her, Gus, and they worked very well together. They also dealt very well with our eclectic group of attendees—large age range, multi ethnic, different personalities. She honored everyone’s individuality and was able to take great shots of all of us during the day. My (now) husband said, “Jessie has good ideas, she is crisp and organized, she works well with a variety of people and she is very personable.” Jessie is able to be in the middle of things and a fly on the wall at the same time. Additionally, our pictures came out great! I’ve shared our pictures with friends and family members and they love them, too. I’m so happy we were able to work with her!!

Jessie and her team deserve more than 5 stars. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them for any wedding! From the start, Jessie was communicative, thorough in answering questions and so friendly. She is warm and kind - it felt like planning with a friend, not a vendor. We were initially sold on how strongly we clicked with her, but our gratitude for Jessie was fully realized during the wedding itself. I am a very awkward person who does not do well on camera, but Jessie put me at ease and made the process fun and comfortable. Family photos were done efficiently, which was a feat with my large family. Jessie also had very fast turnaround! We had a preview by the time we got back to the hotel that night and we received the rest of the photos well before the end of the given time frame. I was impressed by how quickly we received the pictures, but moreso with the pictures themselves. They were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Genuine, natural, journalistic pictures that captured the spirit of the night and who we are as a couple. Jessie's talent is immense. If you're not sure about Jessie, just send her an email and talk with her. She's open and patient with any questions you may have. Any doubts you may have will be put at ease after the first email.

Our wedding planner suggested Jessie as a photographer for our LA elopement. We wanted a photographer that would capture more than your typical wedding shots and Jessie blew us away by the shots she captured. We are based in London and were travelling out to LA a couple of days before the wedding, Jessie was great at communicating and planning for both elopement shoot and the wedding day. We had a skype call with her before we signed contract to run through any questions we had and for her and us to get a sense of each other to ensure the fit was right. From there Jessie made it extremely easy with suggestions on location for the elopement shoot, including a guide on what to wear which was extremely helpful! Considering we had only had one skype call and exchanged emails, when we first met Jessie she came across exactly as she had on the Skype and emails, down to earth and very easy to get along with. My now husband was not looking forward to the engagement shoot but half way through he admitted to me that he was actually having fun! On the wedding day Jessie just kind of blended into the background and made the whole process so easy, so we were able to enjoy the day. When we got the album from her we were blown away at the photos she captured and in awe of how she managed to get the shot she did. She captured the mood, location and experience of the day more than we could have hoped for. I smile every time I look at the photos and everyone that has seen them comments on how amazing they are more so they the average wedding photos

Jessie is a rockstar. My husband and I really struggled with finding a photographer for our wedding--we heard from everyone that this was the MOST important decision and not to mess it up or we would regret it forever. (No pressure.) But once we found Jessie, I stopped stressing. We met with her and liked her instantly. Aside from that she was organized beyond belief with an impressive system for email reminders, invoicing, online payment, worksheets for important details, etc--all the things that can be annoying with other vendors. Plus she got our photos back to us faster than I ever imagined possible. So for a rational argument, she's professional, efficient and very reasonable on pricing. But with the person who is going to photograph the most intimate moments between you and your partner, it's not all about rationality. On that note, Jessie is not just a business woman who cares only about getting a job done. She's really passionate about what she does and you can tell she finds real joy in being part of people's weddings. I don't consider myself especially photogenic and I get overwhelmed easily so I really didn't want someone in my face stressing me out on the day of the wedding and I didn't want the schedule of the day to be dictated by photos. Jessie listened to these concerns, took time to get to know us and then acted accordingly. She gave us space to be ourselves and kept the posed shots and directions to a minimum; I felt like we had lots of time to actually participate in our wedding which was great. I'll admit I worried that we didn't spend enough time getting all the shots with the right people, but in looking at the final results, Jessie and her husband Gus captured it ALL. There are all the great standards we were hoping for plus tons of funny little moments they captured throughout the night that I think really captured our personalities (and the personalities of our friends and family) and the whole spirit of the day. I could not have hoped for a better representation of what it was like to experience our wedding. One other quick thing to note: Jessie and Gus actually got a flat tire on the way to our wedding which sounded like an epic fiasco but Jessie still arrived on time and got to work straight away. Then at the end of the night, they were packed up to leave and on their way out when an epic dance circle broke out and they came running back in to make sure they captured it. When my fiancé and I were searching for a photographer it seemed like we kept seeing the same posed photos over and over again. Then I came across Jessie Caballero and looked through her wedding portfolios and they brought me to tears. Her photos capture such genuine moments: the laughter, the love, the tears and the heart of your day. I didn’t see any of that overdone uncomfortable posing in her photos and I loved that. Our engagement session with Jessie was so magical because of how comfortable she made us feel and how she was able to capture genuine moments between my fiancé and I. Our friends and family have not stopped raving about our photos and we are so incredibly happy with them. We spoke a couple times about our vision for the pictures, we did a themed stylized shoot for the first half, and she absolutely nailed it! During the shoot Jessie played music, cracked jokes and truly made us feel like we were just friends hanging out. She has a great sense of what’s going to look amazing and is super spontaneous with some of her shots. I’m so happy we trusted her instincts and cannot wait to see what Jessie does for our wedding. I know there is not enough wall space in our home for all the beautiful photos we’ll want to display! Do yourself a favor and hire someone who has a gift for capturing natural, genuine, emotive photos that you’ll treasure forever. You’ll also meet an awesome friend in the process :)

My husband and I got engaged last May and the whole aspect of wedding planning was overwhelming for us. We ultimately decided to elope in November. I found Jessie by searching instagram hashtags on google. I scrolled through numerous posts until I saw her pictures and they really stood out to me. I contacted her a month before the wedding. Thankfully she was available on the friday that we were getting married. She was instantly friendly and very easy to talk to. We also purchased an engagement shoot package. I think the engagement shoot really prepared us for our wedding to be comfortable in front of the camera and also to be familiar with Jessie. Naturally I would feel awkward in front of a camera, especially for such an important shoot and everything being so up close and personal. But somehow, Jessie worked her magic and I remember feeling after the engagement shoot and after she shot our wedding, how nervous I was about how the pictures would turn out. But when she sent the sneak peaks for each shoot, I remember asking my husband, "What were we even so nervous about?" The sneak peaks alone were amazing! I couldn't believe that we could look that good. From the first time I contacted Jessie to the end result of receiving our wedding photos, I could not be more impressed. And I could not recommend her enough.

If you are reading this, then stop your search! Jessie is BEYOND amazing. After reading her bio and stalking her Instagram, I knew Jessie was going to be our photographer. We emailed back and forth, got to know each other a bit better, shared our favorite Office quotes and then we booked our engagement and wedding session! She was there to answer all my questions and concerns. This was the easiest and best decision I have ever made. Leading up to our engagement session, I was freaking out because there was rain in the forecast. Jessie totally calmed my nerves by providing me with an alternative solution ( I still really want to do a in-house session). We lucked out and had the BEST weather for our session. Jessie was so cool and relaxed, and instantly made us feel comfortable. My fiancé and I are quite the awkward pair, especially in front of a camera, but Jessie captured the most amazing photos I have ever seen of us. I can’t wait for her to shoot our wedding! I am so happy to have found such an amazing photographer. I have no hesitation when it comes to Jessie and her vision.

Right off the bat Jessie is AMAZINGGG. We saw her work and fell in love immediately. Throughout the entire process Jessie was kind, super responsive and made us feel so comfortable. We had her do our engagement and wedding photos. My husband and I had never taken photos before, so we felt super uncomfortable but she totally made us feel at ease. She delivered the most beautiful photos. Jessie also captured the most amazing photos of my mom, who has recently passed. They're photos I will always cherish and I am so thankful for that. We could not have made a better choice for our photographer than Jessie. Our wedding is yet to come, but we did our engagement shoot with her in December, and she was an absolute dream to work with -- we had a brilliant time, and even my fiance (who is not used to being in front of the camera) very quickly relaxed with her. Jessie was the perfect photographer for us. She was professional, easy going, and super fun to work with. She even helped us pick out our attire and knew the exact times and poses to get the perfect shots. Our engagement pictures came out perfect, better than we could have asked for! After seeing our photos, we were blown away. Selecting Jessie as my photographer was seriously the BEST decision I have made for my wedding (aside from selecting my husband-to-be, of course!) . My fiance and I are a pretty shy couple with not a lot of experience in front of a camera doing photo shoots, but Jessie made it so comfortable and not to mention so much fun! If you're shy, DEFINITELY hire Jessie, she'll make you come out of your shell in no time.

Jessie was a wonderful photographer! She went above and beyond. Being two introverted people she was amazing at making us feel comfortable and made us laugh. Her instructions were on point and made for amazing photos. She accommodated us when our schedule changed around closely before our wedding. She is also great with kids! She did an amazing job and the photos turned out fantastic! Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a great photographer.

Jessie did an excellent job with our engagement photos. She suggested some great locations and was flexible with scheduling. We booked Jessie for our engagement and wedding day photography, and I couldn't be happier about it! The biggest thing I can say about Jessie is her sincerity. Sincerity about her work, her clients, and her passion for photography. I found Jessie here on this very website and I'm so happy I did. I had wanted someone who did a more candid approach to their photography and she was exactly what I was looking for! Upon going to her website, her personality showed brightly through it, which fit my other requirement of having someone who was relax, fun and still professional. I'm extremely happy to say when I met her in person, she was exactly how she was represented on her website. :) From the moment I contacted her, she was always prompt with her responses, and happily gave references of her previous clients when asked. When we met her for our engagement photo, she helped my fiancé and I with posing, giving suggestions on how to posed. Jessie was absolutely amazing. She was very prompt getting to our session location! She got our pictures back to us in three weeks, which I think is more than reasonable. For our hour session she let us do our own thing, so our pictures were super natural. I wanted it to be a natural, non-posed session and that it was, however, when we didn’t know how to pose, she guided us into some natural feeling poses. All around, Jessie was absolutely amazing!

Jessie is amazing! Aside from being an amazing photographer, her energy and total calm during a storm draws us crazy brides towards her! Thank goodness for Jessie. The pictures from start to end are absolutely stunning. I loved every single one. My friends and family are raving about our photos, and it's like a fairytale relived flipping through them. (Bride speaking) Here’s why Jessie is the greatest: -I normally hate cameras -I’m very uncomfortable even in casual situations having my picture taken -I was dreading this being the case at our engagement shoot THANKS TO JESSIE, my fears were instantly alleviated after talking to her the first time and I honestly had such an enjoyable time with my husband at our engagement shoot and at our wedding with endless photos being taken. Her warmth and friendliness makes you feel safe and that is truly priceless for something like this. She feels just like another friend at your wedding, there to celebrate with you and do what she does best. I can’t understate how grateful I am that we got her as a photographer and although I only intend to be married once, I will keep her in mind for future photo ops and for all of my friends’ weddings! - also I cried when we saw our photos. Phenomenal work.

Absolutely a 5-star experience! We could not have had a better experience with Jessie. We were both a little nervous about taking pictures and were worried we would look too posed or unnatural. Jessie had an amazing way of bringing out our personalities on the day of the shoot and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. So much so that I worried at first how we could have gotten any decent shots because we were laughing so hard the entire time. Once we received our proofs we had a hard time narrowing down which pictures we wanted because we loved ALL of them. Jessie is absolutely amazing at what she does and she definitely provided quality service and photos. We are so excited to have Jessie photograph our wedding! If you have any doubts...don't! You'll be in excellent hands and be forever grateful for the amazing images she'll capture.

Where do we begin? Jessie is the SWEETEST owner (and has the nicest husband) ever. My wife initially picked Jessie to be our photographer off basic intuition. We were reading endless photographer bios, and not sure we’d even find one we liked, and then we came across Jessie’s and my wife was like “YUP, THIS IS THE ONE”. We couldn’t have been more right. She was such a joy in the conversation leading up to our wedding, we all instantly connected over Skype with the vision we wanted for our engagement photoshoot and wedding photos. Her pictures were exactly as advertised if not better, because now they were our’s!! She seriously went above and beyond with making us feel at ease and special at the same time. We can’t say enough about her husband Gus too who came with her on the wedding day and took GREAT photos with the guys. He couldn’t have been a more accommodating and agreeable additional piece to the wedding. We’d like to think we were special for becoming friends with them after our shoot but honestly, that’s probably what happens with all of their clients haha. They’re just that nice! Not only that but they were on time, always prompt and professional with communication, and really took the time to make sure we got what we wanted out of the day. Oh, and did I mention they’re a STEAL?!? Get them now or else they may deservedly raise their prices.

Working with Jessie was a dream!! From start to finish she was professional, prompt, fun, accommodating, fair, and she felt like a friend! She answered ALL my questions (I ask a lot!) regarding prices, outfits, locations, dates, products, and more. She sent me links to pages on her website to assist with preparation for our session and she even replied to my text messages and emails when I sent her photos of our outfits asking for opinions. Lol, sorry Jessie! Her communication was extremely prompt and when my work schedule made it difficult to arrange our engagement session she so generously helped to accommodate us so that we could have a stress free session. Through our emails I felt I could get a sense of her delightfully fun personality and felt more at ease with the awkwardness I thought would ensue at our session. My fiance is NOT into pictures and I was so worried that he would be poker faced in all our pictures. Jessie met up with us before pictures to get to know us a bit so that our session would be a bit more comfortable. The session was not at all awkward, it was so much fun!! I left feeling more in love and more connected to my fiance. Jessie's cues and bubbly personality made us feel like naturals, we didn't feel like we were just posing for the camera, we felt like us! She sent us the proofs (soo many) soon after the date of our engagement session and OMG, she blew us away!! Her work is phenomenal. Not only did we feel like naturals during our session, we looked like naturals in our photos. Wow! She captured emotion, smiles, thoughts, genuine laughs, all the right angles, and love. I was bursting with joy over every single picture, impatient to share the beautiful photos with my family and friends. I think the hardest part of the whole process was narrowing down our photo selection because all the photos were favorites. Jessie is humble, sweet, and an incredibly talented photographer. I love Jessie Caballero. She is my photography hero. When my original plan fell through and I discovered I was going to need to hire someone I was a bit panicked and overwhelmed by the amount of options and styles. I found Jessie on The Knot and instantly loved her. Her photos convey this playfulness and intimacy. I read her About section and KNEW I had found my photographer. I totally identified with her statement “You know when you're thinking of the words "Pretty" and "Beautiful" so you accidentally say "Britty" or "Peautiful"?” I emailed, and Jessie got back to me very quickly. The whole process was just so easy. She had great ideas on locations for an engagement shoot. She was fun and so easy to work with…….nothing felt awkward. I LOVE my photos. They have a carefree sweetness to them. On my wedding day, Jessie was prompt and soooooo helpful. I had given her a list of different group shots I wanted, and Jessie wrangled my family and friends and was able to get them all. She captured all the other special moment and got the best candid shots. I LOVE my photos. I LOVE JESSIE.

My wife and I chose to go with Jessie for some elopement photos while we were in California, as we saw other LGBT couples in her online portfolio, and we are so happy that we did! She is an amazing photographer- incredibly talented, down to earth, and super friendly :) She made it so easy for us, and her enthusiasm was contagious, even to a couple of camera shy folks like ourselves. Jessie helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and the results are an album of beautiful photos that we both adore! Jessie was even kind enough to let us ride in her car with her when the road we were travelling on grew super foggy and hard to navigate (I'm not used to driving on the opposite side of the road, and I was crazy nervous!) as we searched for a few more shooting sites. We would absolutely recommend her work, and I would be thrilled to hire her again :)

3 reasons why Jessie is the absolute best: 1) Talent. Jessie really has a gift for photography, and capturing those little in-between moments that most people don't normally pay attention to. If you are searching for a photographer that can capture that natural, un-posed love between you and your partner, Jessie is your girl. 2) Just good people. From the moment you reach out to her, you can really feel her passion towards her work and her clients. She is super responsive, and helpful, not to mention fun, and down-to-earth, that I literally felt like I was chatting with a friend the entire time. Also, having never done a photo shoot before (plus being really un-photogenic), I was pretty nervous going into it, but Jessie really made the experience so comfortable, so lovely and so much fun that when the shoot was over, I didn't want it to end! 3) Magic. This is something you experience 2-3 weeks after your shoot when you receive an email from her with the subject line: "Your Photos Are Ready" :)

First of all, let me tell you that Jessie is SUPER awesome! She assured us that it would all come so natural! My fiance and I were afraid that we would be so awkward in front of the camera. However, it was opposite. Her communication with us was on point and made it so easy for us to have such a great time during the shoot. Second of all, our pictures turned out fantastic! I am in love! She helped us picked the right location, exactly what we had in mind and capture the vision we wanted in the pictures.

Jessie shot our engagement and elopement-style wedding and our experience with her was incredible from start to end! We didn't really know what to expect because we hadn't had professional photos taken of us before. It only took us like, 10 mins to relax and loosen up and that's all because Jessie is a delight to work with. She's super friendly and easy to converse with, and you think you're just hanging out with a friend instead of getting your picture taken. Also she's pretty hilarious so be warned, you will be giggling through your shoot ;) Super happy with the end products. They're exactly the look and feel we wanted. Her style is amazing. This was an absolute 5 star experience for us. I can not recommend Jessie more highly. Firstly, if you have not seen it, you can see examples of her work on her website which is https://www.jessiecaballero.com/. I was very impressed at the the quality of the photos we received, but the experience was especially made pleasant because of Jessie's attitude and style when directing us how to pose. My fiance and I are not very photogenic and have no idea how to stand or pose to take a good picture. Jessie was much more focused on us interacting with one another and did a fantastic job corralling us into situations that made for incredible photos. My favorite part about the photoshoot is the end product makes us look like professional models, instead of an awkward couple taking photos together. Before taking any pictures, she met us at a coffee shop to hang out and talk for 30 minutes, and this made a huge difference in the comfort level we felt with her, and it truly shows in the photos. We are so happy that Jessie was the one to document our special day and we'd do it again in a heartbeat. Why we wanted to work with her: Her portfolio stood out from the others. She does such a great job of capturing emotion in photos that anyone could imagine what it must have felt like to be there. Her style combines the people, the color, and the setting all in one frame-worthy photo (see 4 favorites from our wedding). We love that we can look back and see how happy everyone was and feel that excitement all over again. Jessie is the best!!!! We are so grateful and thankful we found her, and truly her investment is extremely worth it! We had our wedding almost two weeks ago.... I could not have been more pleased with Jessie from Jessie Caballero Photography. From the first email she wrote back, I was like "yup she is the one!" Hahaha she was unbelievably great at all communication leading up to our big day and great at making us feel 100% natural. She allowed us many moments after our wedding and during the picture process to just take in the moment. And to be honest after the wedding when it was just my husband, her and I; was one of the best parts of my wedding. We all were in this amazing moment, where time stopped and it was just us. She made even my 5 year old very comfortable as well, which can sometimes can be a bit tricky. I could not have been more pleased with Jessie. She's just an amazing person and I'm so glad she was able to photograph our wedding. Did I mention about 2 or 3 days after our wedding we had about 8-10 sneak peaks of our special day and not even 2 weeks later we had gotten to see many more pictures (yes- this is March and also an off season but regardless that is beyond amazing!!!) Thank you Jessie, we could not thank you enough for providing these wonderful photos that will last a lifetime.

Jessie is amazing beyond words! Her photography and talent spew in every photo. She was our wedding photographer and not only did she go above and beyond with us but our family as well. I couldn't imagine any other photographer that could have captured our special day the way she did. We were clients but I feel as though our photos were a gift that will last a life time! If I could give more stars, Jessie would receive 700. She was hands down the best vendor we worked with for our wedding, and that's saying something! We found Jessie on Thumbtack to do our engagement photos in LA back in 2016. We only intended on doing the engagement photos with her since we don't live in CA. But after our one hour session, before even seeing any photos, we knew we had to book her for our wedding. It was sort of like finding another soulmate--we just knew. ;) (We were blown away by our engagement photos and still get so many compliments on them, by the way). Jessie showed such enthusiasm and excitement in our wedding which is key for a wedding vendor in my opinion. She was also super helpful in the planning process itself; she even helped us decide on a send-off idea! Oh, and if you're lucky enough to get her husband Gus on the project, be prepared for even more awesomeness. Also be prepared for your fiance/husband to be completely swooned. ;) They are such incredible, friendly, talented, and down to earth people. They were far more than our wedding photographers. I can't even count how many of our friends have added them on Facebook and Instagram because they are literally that cool. Jessie gave us so many great sneak peeks after the wedding and had our entire album completed way faster than I had imagined. In fact, I got my photos back before my best friend got hers back--and her wedding was TWO months before mine. Gah! We will forever cherish our photos. Aside from the pure beauty and talent of the photos, she is able to capture the love and feeling of every moment. Her candids are the best! I've never had good candid shots until working with Jessie. If you take anything from this long review, let it be this: Jessie Caballero Photography will forever be our couple/family photographer even though we live over 1,000 miles apart. That is how talented and amazing this lady is. I cannot say enough good things or recommend her enough to anyone looking for a stellar wedding photographer.
