She was timely, responsive, professional but fun and so sweet! She listened to what we wanted and had some amazing ideas for shots. She made our big day great and we love our photos!

We can not say enough kind things about our experience with Jessie! Everything from our engagement to wedding photos seemed to be a breeze while working with with her. It happened to rain right as our ceremony was about to begin and she helped me remain calm during it all. Go with Jessie! Jessie was not only super responsive and so easy to work with, but she also had great value with her pricing and was so professional the day of. We were dealing with torrential rain, a wet and muddy tent, and she still made magic happen! And she went far beyond the extra mile when she offered to take some more pictures with my fiance and me a couple of days later. The rain cut down on our photography time, but this was unexpected and so appreciated. Other than marrying my best friend and being surround by friends and family, Jessie was hands down the best part of our wedding day. We were a COVID couple (postponed a year) and planned our Maine wedding while living in Maryland. Despite a tumultuous 2+ years of planning, Jessie exceeded expectations at every turn. I loved working with her. And then we got our photos back... And I was absolutely stunned. Hands down the most gorgeous shots (lighting, posing, everything!) that I've ever seen of myself and my favorite wedding photos I've ever seen (okay, I might be a little biased here..). I work on a creative team with professional photographers and videographers daily, and Jessie's talent is truly unparalleled. She captured little mannerisms that she had no idea were so core to our guests. From the way my dad held his piece of paper during his toast to the way my husband hugged my mom, there were just little details that feel so 'us.' I couldn't articulate it, but she instinctively knew when to snap. I was/still am blown away. If her talent aren't enough, Jessie is an absolute delight to work with. My husband and I kept saying to each other that we wished she was a wedding guest as well! You end up spending so much time with your photographer on your wedding day, and I didn't realize beforehand how comforting it would be to have Jessie's perfect mix of calm and humor. We got married in October and I'm writing this review in March simply because I was overwhelmed at the task of properly thanking her for playing such an important role on our big day. I was speechless when I saw the photos, and to this day, I don't have the words to express our gratitude. I finally am forcing myself to write a review 1) because Jessie deserves all the positive reviews and 2) we are moving to Boston. I will undoubtedly be traveling the 1.5-2 hours to have every family photo taken by Jessie for as long as she'll have us. Honestly, we probably would have traveled from Maryland for her! Planning a wedding is stressful. Book Jessie and I promise, your photos will not only be zero stress, but you'll have a friend along the way!

Jessie is absolutely amazing! We hired her and met her for our engagement shoot in July. We planned to have our pictures taken on a sailboat at sunset. I had my hair and makeup done. The weather looked great all day. Unfortunately once we got on the boat, Mother Nature had better plans (just my luck!) . A huge thunder and lightning storm came in. Jessie waiting in the lower cabin with us while we waited for the storm to pass, as they do so often in New England. We unfortunately could not take our trip. My fiancé and I were both devastated. Jessie handled the situation wonderfully. She is incredibly personable, calm and most importantly genuine. She did get some lovely photos but offered us a reshoot. We are seeing her for our shoot next week and couldn’t be more excited. She is local and has wonderful recommendations for when things don’t go as planned. I would recommend her to anyone! Jessie photographed my brother's wedding in 2018 and as soon as we got the photos back from his wedding, I reached out to Jessie the same day to book her for mine in 2019 - because they were that good. Jessie is great to work with. She drove a couple hours to meet my fiance and me at our venue when we did a walkthrough months before the wedding so that she could see the venue and scout out some spots for photos. Jessie was very responsive throughout my whole wedding planning process and was always reassuring. She does such a beautiful job of capturing the entire day, from the detail shots to the candids and all the emotions. I would hire Jessie over and over again!!

Jessie is a truly gifted photographer and a wonderful human as well! My fiancé and I were living in DC while planning our wedding in Buxton, Maine, so we were forced to rely on Knot reviews and professional websites in our search for the perfect vendors. By far, she was our luckiest find. We had an engagement shoot with her in 2018 and not only did she find the perfect location, take amazing photos, and provide easy-to-follow directions for us less camera-comfy folk, but she also offered to create a free engagement video of us (which turned out amazing) simply to broaden her repertoire. Throughout wedding planning she was always available via email and phone to discuss wedding day logistics and never let us feel as though we weren’t the most important clients to her (we even sent her a wedding invitation which she posted on her fridge and took a pic of for her Instagram)! On our wedding day, she showed up with an extra photographer (for free; a student hoping to practice using his drone for videography) as well as a second shooter. The three worked tirelessly all day capturing the big moments and little details. Her team was super unobtrusive during the ceremony and reception while still capturing beautiful moments, and at the end of a very long day of work for her, she still took the time to stage a few last minute sparkler photos after our exit. Her turnaround time with the edited photos was quite fast, and we are in love with basically every single one of our hundreds of photos. If you are looking for a responsible, honest, professional photographer with lots of experience and an incredibly sweet, down-to-earth personality, Jessie is the one for you!

Jessie was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our wedding at the Barn at Flanagan Farm. Jessie and her husband were our photographer and videographer for our wedding and, honestly, I can truly say they were the most fantastic pair and truly became our friends. I as the bride can speak moreso on the behalf of Jessie who did the majority of the bridal photos and, not only did she drive 2.5 hours on Friday to the venue just to do a styled shoot of my dress/shoes, she drove home again and back on Saturday to shoot the wedding. The pictures are unbelievably beautiful and working with them was such a fun, amazing experience. We are yet to receive the video as our wedding was less than a month ago but, based on the pictures, I have no doubt it will be incredible. I would recommend them 100% and can wholeheartedly say that they helped make our wedding the perfect day that it was.

Seriously without a doubt our best vendor. We had our wedding two weeks ago and I consider Jessie a friend at this point. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and she captured the most intricate details of emotion. From my mother-in-law dabbing her eyes during our first dance to the artistic presentation of my wedding gown to the shoes, to the rings -- all of it. There wasn't a single photo that we didn't download because we absolutely loved all of them! Every single person that has seen Jessie's photos of our wedding day has told us that they felt emotional even without being there in person. I've gotten many compliments saying that it all seemed like we were filming a movie -- soooo perfect in every way. I can't recommend her enough and I would work with her again and again in a heartbeat!

tl;dr: Jessie is amazing, above and beyond. She was incredibly responsive and listened to exactly what we wanted, and added a wonderful creativity when ours was absent due to the stress of organizing/planning a wedding. She was not only willing to modify the package based on our needs, but provided direction on-site with little to no exposure to the location before. On the day-of, Jessie showed up early to scout the location and figure out everything, and when we were busy getting ready for the ceremony, was able to recruit family members to help coordinate where everything would take place. Jessie delivered everything in a very quick turnaround, with previews, and followed up with full photos very shortly after. In summary, we could not have been happier with Jessie and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic photographer to capture the moments you want to remember.

My daughter's wedding was very important to us, as parents, after all it was "her day". Part of the process was making sure we had someone who would capture the day as true to life as possible and with meaning they could look back on one day and feel as if it was only yesterday instead of years that had passed. Jessie did that and more. She brought such a beautiful meaning to our daughter's day and captured such beautiful moments and smiles that no one could have ever told her or directed her to do. She took such beautiful, intimate and private photos of my daughter getting ready. You truly forgot she was there and never felt uncomfortable. At times, the pictures she captured even seemed as if those who weren't with us had directed her hands through her lens to capture shots to let us know they were with us even though they couldn't be. There was such joy, happiness, and sheer beauty unlike other photographers. Everyone was having so much fun with her too... I don't think the guest wanted her to leave either. There are not enough kind words I can say about Jessie and how she worked with us and making my daughter's day, the day she had always hoped for. She traveled all the way from Maine to North Carolina at no additional travel cost to us and was prompt and very professional. She kept in contact with us to make sure she could do anything to meet our needs and what ever my daughter wanted for her day. Her work is worth it and you won't regret it. We planned our Maine wedding remotely from Brooklyn, all while buying a house/moving, and dealing with some job stuff and THANK GOD for Jessie. I was doing virtually all the planning myself and am so grateful that she was kind and helpful and organized throughout - without which we would have certainly had some trouble. She helped us through all sorts of decisions we were making in regards to timing and logistics to make sure we had enough time for the photos we wanted without interrupting too much of our flow. She and her second shooters were so great to work with throughout the day. Despite wedding craziness and nerves, I knew I didn't have to worry about photography and felt confident the entire time that they were doing a great job. I was right - the results are fantastic and will be incredible to have for years to come. I am also a photographer myself, so I have a perspective that many others may not, and I swear she has an eye and a talent that is worth every penny. Her shooting and editing style is beautiful, modern, and natural and not overdone. I've attached a few of my favorites from the day. If you're considering a videographer, please do consider a package with Jessie for this. She did incredible work and we are so glad to have our video. We drank wine from our honeymoon and sobbed the whole time watching it. It's an incredible keepsake and I look forward to watching it on every anniversary for the rest of our lives. On top of all of this, my sister-in-law loved Jessie's work so much that she hired her for her own wedding this coming September. She's also planning hers remotely, and so far Jessie has once again proven to be an asset to their planning and even met up with them at their venue walkthrough. Jessie flew all the way to NC to take my wedding photos. I'm military and my husband is from Virginia so it was a huge gathering that everyone had to come together for. Pictures to me are important so when Jessie and her fiancé came I never worried for a second if they were capturing my day. When we finally received them, I was blown away. Jessie is an AMAZING photographer! Sometimes people can learn to be photographers and do well, and others were born to do it with an inane creativity and talent that just can't be taught. That's HER! She's so creative and takes such beautiful shots. Not only that, but brings out the personality of the couples. I love how she shines the light on them and you can really get a sense of who they are in those moments. She's very professional and takes the business side of it very seriously. I was impressed with her organization and drive. The passion is there and you can see it in everything she does. I have worked with Jessie on many wedding shoots over several years, and she's always courteous, calm, collected, and on point. She's going to get the shot and make it look gorgeous and effortless. And the couples that we have worked with always had fun and enjoyed her personality and how she guided and directed them during the sessions. It's very natural and doesn't feel static or posed. Again, allowing the couple to be themselves, while capturing their best looks for the camera. I would highly recommend working with Jessie. She's worth every penny. I know when I re-new my vows in a few years, she's my photographer of choice! I only wish I knew her when I got married 11 years ago!

She was great! my wife did most of the work however i felt I should also mention how wonderful she is to work with from guys perspective. I thought it mind be weird having a girl with us while we all got ready but she was hilarious and made us all laugh and forget we were only half dressed. she put us at ease and ended up getting great candid shots of me and the guys.
