ue and enjoyed working with her personally. Planning: We were looking for a photographer that had a slightly darker, without being too dramatic or moody, style to match our winter vibe. Jessie fit this niche very well when we looked at many of her past weddings. We looked at so many photographer's portfolios, and Jessie's was hands down our favorite. We had a consultation call prior to booking to go over questions, concerns, and other information. We immediately booked with her before we hung up. She seemed very upbeat and efficient, and the combination proved a huge success for our eventual wedding. This tier included engagement pictures, where Jessie spent an hour with us taking pictures. We received more than 100 pictures from this hour, and it was a great way to meet each other before the wedding day. She was very flexible in scheduling this session, with my husband living out of state and not having a lot of availability. We used these pictures for our save-the-dates, and we had them in plenty of time to get our cards out early. Wedding: We settled on her longest package. This package included an engagement session, second shooter on wedding day, and 10-hours of coverage. Having two shooters and the extra time felt very important to us, since we had a longer wedding day and spread out venue. Jessie arrived for pictures at 11am. She was organized, efficient, positive, and cut through stress very well: she never once lost her cool and remained consistently on-time and schedule despite many moving parts. She then followed us to our Catholic church for the ceremony, where her second shooter met us. She was respectful of the space while also capturing all the important moments. She and her second shooter then came back with us to our venue for family and couple pictures. She once again was quick but not rushed, and we barely missed any of our cocktail hour, which was something we hoped to participate in, thanks to her precision. She stayed until 9pm, which was enough for her to capture dances, speeches, cake cutting, and some of the dance floor before we captured a faux exit with the wedding party. I felt uneasy not having her be there until the end of the reception at 10pm. But for any brides worrying about this, I would really recommend having more time in the morning. Two hours of dancing pictures are not worth sacrificing morning pictures, in my opinion. She got some fun dancing pictures, but I only needed a few. Having the extra time in the morning was such a relief, since it was easy to be stressed about timing, especially with a slightly earlier ceremony. Jessie's second shooter was also a pleasure to work with! She was happy and easy going while also being diligent and focused. We really enjoyed having her there for the day, too! After the Wedding: Jessie sent 60+ sneak peaks less than 5 days after the wedding. It was so fun to have so many pictures to share with friends and family so quickly. We received our full gallery 8 weeks after the wedding. It had approximately 1200 pictures, which was more than we expected. She captured tons of candid moments, which was one of our requests. I would recommend Jessie to any bride planning a wedding. She was wonderful to work with!
