Yesenia is truly the BEST!!! My husband and I are so lucky to have booked her for our beach wedding. Yesenia is a true professional, and we could clearly see that she put a lot of care into documenting our happiest day. Yesenia was the most amazing photographer!! From the first email, I could tell how excited she was about the location we were having our ceremony. Our elopement would not have been as magical without Yesenia! Yesenia is an amazing photographer with a genuine desire to see her couples' dreams realized on their special day. My husband and I planned to elope with our children, who all had ideas for our celebration as well. From the moment we booked with her, Yesenia shared in our excitement and helped us navigate through, and combine, all our ideas into the perfect itinerary for the day. As we got closer to our elopement date, the weather forecast called for rain—but that didn't deter Yesenia. She was there with experience and advice to help ensure the rain didn't ruin anything. When our day arrived, she was ready to brave the storm with us—literally! She was able to capture all the important and intimate details of the day with the professionalism, grace, and humor that only a true professional and genuine individual can possess.

I am obsessed with the pictures that Yesenia captured of our big day. I keep going back to look at them and am so happy every time I do. They are GORGEOUS. It took me hours to narrow down some of my favorites to share with friends & family because I loved so many of them. Did I mention she turned around the final album in less than 2 weeks?!?! I know people who wait months all the way up to a year for their pictures. Furthermore, she and her assistant were so pleasant to work with and made us feel comfortable and relaxed while shooting. Before the big day Yesenia was so prompt at responding and everything went so smoothly. Couldn't recommend her enough!

Where to begin. Jessra just did everything right. I was very overwhelmed with the whole planning process but every time I talked to her she was so excited that it brought everything into prospective and made me excited. I shopped around for photographers and Jessra had the best quality for a very reasonable price. Plus the engagement session was included, which was really nice for us since we are not comfortable with pictures and could get used to being photographed before the wedding. Then at the wedding, when a bit of chaos ensued, Jessra made sure that I still got all the pictures I wanted before she left. She made sure to keep referencing all the notes we had put together during our detailed meetings and when the pictures came back (in less than 2 weeks!), we were in love. I could not have found a better or more supportive photographer to capture our big day.

From the engagement photos to the wedding photos, we loved working with Yesenia. She is so easy to communicate with and made us feel at ease the entire time. Her prices are very reasonable and we were even to get a second shooter in our budget which honestly is a must have. I would hire her again in an instant!

If you need photos.. Jessra Photography is the only choice. I’ll start from the beginning. I called Yesenia from a personal recommendation and immediately we hit it off. She was warm and sweet and had all the answers. I booked a basic package with her which was not only more than reasonably priced but included an engagement shoot. I wouldn’t have booked that otherwise and I’m so glad we were able to do it! The engagement shoot gave me and my fiancé an opportunity to meet Yesenia in person and get comfortable with taking professional photos. Those photos were phenomenal and such a great sneak peak into what our wedding photos would be like. Then leading up to the wedding Yesenia was always available to me and she was wildly organized with payment information and wedding day details. She brought along another utterly talented assistant photographer, Dale, whom also was a videographer. Dale filmed our ceremony and special dances and was fabulous! Yesenia showed up early on our wedding day, looked so cute and professional and also brought her naturally warm personality. She made not just me and my now husband comfortable but she made our family and friends feel that way too. I could go on and on! Only a couple of short weeks later we’ve received our photos and they are perfection. We got married on a rainy day and she still made us glow. So grateful to have met this gem. I was so fortunate to find Yesenia on Instagram just 3 or so months before my wedding once it kicked up again post COVID. Leading up to the big day Yesenia was so helpful with providing vendor recommendations and answering all our possible questions. She is a Connecticut based and we are from New Jersey and we were able to communicate flawlessly and for our Engagement session she met us halfway in New York and helped us find the perfect location. On the day of the wedding, she was a boss! As soon as she arrive the day started and she had command of the room since the pictures really is a full-day process. My husband and I really appreciate the effort and you can see it in the beautiful way that she captured our day. She's organized and quick thinking. No wedding day goes on with out something going wrong. For us, our videographer did not arrive on time and missed the ceremony. Quickly Yesenia's assistant switched over to video on his camera and was able to capture the full ceremony, and we are so grateful. Finally, out of the many photographers quotes that I received she had the best price for her package and was able to explain and answer all the questions we had in the booking process.

Where do I even start???? Yesenia is nothing short of amazing and can literally do anything. I don’t know how I would have gotten through wedding planning without her and that goes beyond just photography. You know when a person just gives you a good feeling right from the very start and you immediately trust everything about them? Yeah, that’s the feeling I got when speaking with Yesenia for the very first time. I told my husband all about her and we set up a meeting. Leading up to the BIG BIG bash, she was always there for me, always there to talk out ideas, hear my plans, and give me her ideas and suggestions. When things got stressful, she called me and we talked through it! Yesenia took our pictures in the early evening of June 2020 on the Trinity College campus. Yesenia’s energy and eagerness were unmatched. As soon as she got on campus, she had tons of ideas, and immediately got to work. She (literally) jumped through hoops to get the right shots - and she certainly delivered. Yesenia went above and beyond! Tirelessly snapping away. We finished the shoot later than expected, but Yesenia still had the same amazing bubbly energy at the end of the day. The next morning, I woke up to the most beautiful sneak peek of our shoot, and was blown away that Yesenia was able to drive an hour plus home, have a life, and edit one of our pictures. I was floored! 9 days after our shoot, Yesenia delivered about 200 perfectly edited pictures to our inbox. We loved everything! Yesenia took so many great photos that it was really hard to pick a photo for our save the dates; however, these pictures will be plastered all over our wedding website and printed for family. Yesenia is truly passionate and talented at what she does. I am so happy and proud to have worked with her. She’s a class act, and will definitely work with her again in the near future. You won’t go wrong when working with Yesenia!

I cannot say enough good things about Yesenia, everyone should hire her for any event immediately!! We originally set our wedding date for 3/28/20. From the very first meeting she was absolutely amazing about listening to our vision and working with us on every detail. Our engagement shoot was gorgeous, I was so impressed and I suggest you take advantage of an engagement session with her. She made us feel so at ease, and captured our true personalities. My husband and I as well as our family and friends were blown away by her vision and quality of photos. When our large wedding had to be postponed she was so flexible, accommodating, and most importantly kept me calm! She still came for our smaller intimate ceremony and captured shots we will treasure forever. When I was looking for a photographer for my wedding I knew I wanted someone confident, competent, creative and easy to get along with. I needed someone to feel comfortable with. Yesenia fits the bill! Everyone at our wedding raved at how wonderful she was. I will be hiring her for all my future important life moments that will need to be captured :)

Yesenia recently did a family/maternity photo shoot for my family. We absolutely loved both her and her work. Yesenia’s approach of just blending in with our family and capturing our family’s special moments was exactly what we were looking for. The photo shoot consisted of absolutely beautiful shots that show our daughters personality and her true beauty along with intimate family moments! We will treasure these photos forever! In person, Yesenia is really kind and friendly, and our daughter was immediately comfortable around her and very natural during the time of capturing the photos. Yesenia is also unbelievably easy to work with, both in setting up the time and date for the shoot, the day of the event, and when she delivered the gorgeous images. She is extremely quick with responding over text and email, and provided our photos way sooner than we expected.
