WHAT HAPPENS AT HUMORVILLE?
You each express yourselves authentically together throughout this fully participatory experience. Themed for a “village” of connective fun, you and your guests marry yourselves in the HumorVille Marriage Bureau, become President of what you care about in the HumorVille Elections Board, tell stories from your lives that have become funny to you today in the HumorVille Library, and more. You can choose either the facilitated version or the choose-your-own-adventure version.
WHAT IS THE STORY OF HUMORVILLE?
Rev. Barbara Ann Michaels, award-winning Wedding Officiant on The Knot and WeddingWire, opened HumorVille in 2025 after a ten-year career as a full-time officiant, leading over 560 weddings. HumorVille combines her wedding experience with her career as an immersive experience designer and performing artist in the field of humor and wellness.

HumorVille is an intimate space, ideal for groups of 2 to 14, with 20 being the maximum.
CAN WE BRING FOOD?
Yes, prepared foods, as there is no oven, stove, or microwave for catering in this art gallery.
