Jetè Dance Studio

We couldn't rave about Angel and Stephanie enough. We were late to the game on deciding to take a dance lesson and didn't show up until a few days before the wedding. Angel and Stephanie totally put us at ease and taught us some basic partner dance moves and helped us create some light choreography for our first dance. Thanks to them it went great! We also nailed the dip because of their excellent teaching. Not only were they so nice and accommodating in their beautiful loft studio in Port Chester but I can't explain enough how incredible it was to learn to partner dance with two instructors. It really made learning so much easier. We had a ton of fun and our only regret is that we didn't start sooner and take additional lessons. If you are reading this - trust me you have found your people to book!! :)

Angel and Stephanie were the absolute best to work with! It was the highlight of the wedding planning process for us and we looked forward to every lesson with them. We showed up with very little dancing knowledge, and they choreographed our dance perfectly. Each session was fun and engaging, with each one building on the previous. We laughed and learned throughout the process, and could not have asked for two better instructors.

Stephanie and Angel took us on with only 1 month before our wedding. They worked with our schedule and were flexible to meet our needs. My (now) husband and I had no dance background and were nervous to start, but they made us feel comfortable and confident from the start. Each session was taught in small bite sized pieces that we practiced until we felt confident. We also left each session with a video so we could practice at home. After 5 sessions we had learned a whole dance and it was an absolute hit at our wedding! We can’t thank Jetè studio enough for such an incredible first dance that we will remember forever!

Coming into dance class as beginners can be frightening but Stephanie & Angel calmed our nerves and prepared us for our first dance! They choreographed our song perfectly and walked us through it step by step each week! Their patience and instruction was amazing! We are so grateful for them and were able to have an amazing first dance on our wedding day! We look forward to taking lessons with them again in the future!!!

We were on the fence about doing dance lessons, but it was honestly our favorite investment out of everything we did for our wedding. Neither me nor my husband has ever had any prior dance experience. Stephanie and Angel are amazing and really put so much time and energy into making a dance that is unique, but also very doable for beginners! They are so patient, friendly, and intuitive and really go the extra mile. They are so flexible on scheduling- even weekends and after work hours on weekdays. Our time with them was by far our favorite part of wedding planning because it broke up the stressful planning and gave us some fun opportunities to bond! We 100% plan on continuing group classes with them!

As a couple with no dance experience, we wanted to learn something simple but elegant for our first dance. Stephanie and Angel were the best teachers and we were so happy with not only the choreography but the entire process. They made it so easy and really fun to learn. Definitely the best part of wedding planning!

So so thankful we found this studio! Stephanie and angel are truly the nicest, sweetest people. I have no dance experience whatsoever, but it didn’t matter! They made us feel right at home and created a special dance just for us. They were very accommodating to our schedules and made sure we had the right amount of lessons to finish our dance so we were comfortable with performing it at our wedding. These individuals treat you like family and it was bittersweet to finish our last lesson because we truly felt like friends by the end. I would recommend this to any future brides because it was such a nice way to have fun and have something special between you and your partner before the big day!

My fiancé and I were completely beginner dancers but thanks the Stephanie and Angel's patience and hard work, we were able to put together a romantic and beautiful first dance for our wedding day. We HIGHLY recommend Jete Dance Studio and will surely be back for other dance lessons after the wedding!

I contacted Stephanie with a little less than a month until my wedding day. We had our first dance song picked out and we wanted to do a dance that would be memorable to us and our guests. I sent Stephanie the song and she had a choreographed dance ready that week. Her and Angel squeezed us in to 4 sessions and somehow we tackled this choreography. My husband and I are not dancers but they made it fun and taught us in a way that we could connect lyrics to the dance moves. We were so happy with the end result. We definitely want to go back and take some salsa classes with them for fun!

Choosing to work with Jete Dance Studio was one of our best decisions for our wedding. Stephanie and Angel are excellent instructors, professional business owners, and just wonderful people. They were patient, supportive, and enthusiastic about our dance. Stephanie was extremely detailed in her approach to choreographing a fun and moving dance routine for us. And Angel provided a calming presence during our lessons. Having a pair of instructors, from both the male and female roles, was so helpful. For those grooms, Angel is a cool character who knows how to relate to those with all ranges of experience, from the beginner to the advanced. For brides, Stephanie is understanding of the stress almost all brides experience from the pressure of planning a perfect wedding; she provided excellent tips for attire (footwear and dresses) that helped ease the planning of our dance. The importance of our dance, the moment, to our wedding, us, and the theme (Jazz Age) was not lost on Stephanie and Angel and showed in the attention and time that they provided. Our entrance and first dance was one of the highlights of our special day. Everyone at our wedding were surprised by the creativity and whimsical details that punctuated our dance. It made our event truly special. We have Stephanie and Angel to thank for that. The lessons and preparation were difficult at times, but mostly fun, and gave us the confidence to pull off a truly remarkable first dance. Jete Dance Studio is a great provider. We cannot recommend them enough and would not hesitate, and hope, to work with them in the future.

Stephanie is an amazing teacher as well as dancer. She took her time with us, and our left feet, and created a beautiful choreographed first dance. We ended up bonding with Stephanie and inviting her and her dance partner, Angel to our wedding. It was an amazing day and we couldn't have done it without Jete Dance Studio!!

We wanted to make our wedding day even more special by being able to have a choreographed first dance. We had chosen a unique song, and were stumped on how we might go about dancing to it. Jetè designed beautiful choreography for us, making it elegant, but not difficult or complicated. Each step was timed perfectly and we were patiently taught how to master them! Our wedding guests have given us amazing feedback on our first dance and it truly made that moment even more special!
