My fiancée and I were so excited when we found Jewelry By Johan - their jewelry was so gorgeous, we loved that they focused on how we wanted the jewelry to look and gave us so many options. We went in (and were very relieved about how good their safety procedures were with COVID) and worked with Kirstin and she patiently walked us through the many options we were thinking about, even printing off mock-ups for us of the 8 different rings between the two of us we were debating between. They ended up looking even better than we imagined and we get endless compliments on them about how gorgeous and unique they are. I’d highly recommend them.

My husband bought my engagement ring from them online. It was so unique and beautiful. I was very upset though with how the setting and the diamond fell out of the ring after a month of wearing. I was able to get it fixed by a local jeweler, but I'm extra cautious with it now. We still got our wedding bands from them and were able to custom order matching bands which was fantastic and I'm really happy we were able to incorporate wood in all of our rings. It made them really different and unique and special to us.

My husband had a particular vision when it came to his wedding band. Neither of us are 'traditional' and when it came to a representation of our love and our marriage, he wanted his band to be perfect. After a bunch of research, he asked me to accompany him to MN to visit Johan. Within the first 10 minutes, he knew that this is where he wanted to build is own band. And it looks stunning. We ordered my husband's wedding band from Jewelry by Johan and were incredibly impressed with their process and quality of work. So much so, that I had his tie clip and cufflinks custom made to match for the wedding. They were great in working with me on the creation - even sending me photos of the different pieces of flame box elder burl so I could pick which piece I wanted to use. Everything turned out perfectly! Would definitely recommend 100%!!!

My Fiancée and I received custom rings from Jewelry by Johan. I absolutely have to say that everyone was so wonderful to work with. Both of our rings were requested to be unique to us, including the metal, inlays, dividers, and widths (I’m sorry I was so picky about mine!). We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who was so patient and understanding in helping us get our rings just the way we wanted them. They turned out absolutely beautiful! Even better than what I could have imagined. You can tell a well created quality ring when you see it, and these catch eyes all the time, not to mention they are so comfortable to wear. I had heard about Jewelry by Johan and their dinosaur bone rings online and my fiance' was immediately hooked into getting one as his wedding band for our nuptials in March. We decided after much back and forth and several emails with the helpful staff at Jewelry by Johan to purchase one of their sandblasted titanium rings with dinosaur bone and meteorite with an inner engraving all for a reasonable price. The ease of ordering and purchasing the ring with the refundable sizer made the whole process stress-free and eliminated any worries or concerns about ordering a ring online that we would have to return. The ring arrived on time and exactly as pictured, in additional we were able to choose the shade of dinosaur bone we wanted from the available options. My husband is so happy with his ring that we cannot thank you enough for all of your help. It is truly a unique and one of a kind ring that reflects our tastes and interests and made our big day extra special.

The team of Jewelry by Johan was amazingly helpful and friendly: We ordered our wedding rings really shortly before the ceremony and they were able to send us our rings just in time. We are very thankful for their efforts! We love the design, quality and fit of our rings and couldn't wish for anything better. During the process of deciding on the design, I called them often and they were always nice and eager to help and provide assistance. My husband chose a ring with meteorite and dinosaurier bone and the office send us several pictures of possible bones that are in stock such that my husband could choose the texture and colour he prefered. When I found out that meteorite contains nickel, to which I am highly allergic, they helped me to redesign the ring I wanted with stardust instead of meteorite and now, I really love my ring and couldn't imagine a more beautiful ring! The moment my fiancé sent me a link to “meteorite wedding bands” I knew Jewelry by Johan would be making his band. He wanted to be an astronomer when he was a child, and even when he didn’t, he continued his interest and love in all things space related. If you do decide to go with Jewelry by Johan, I’d recommend submitting a quote once you pick out a style you like;it’s not clear on the site the prices for meteorite rings can fluctuate based on the price of the materials. I had started saving for the price listed and submitted a quote once I got closer in range, only to discover the price for meteorite went up. However, once I provided the width and size of ring, it was less than the listed price so it worked out in the end! The quality and look of the rings are well worth it; the look on my fiance’s face when he tried his ring on on proved it.

Jewelry by Johan did an amazing job on my husbands wedding band. He is a big hunter and we wanted something unique. When we saw that Johan could make a band with antler we were thrilled! The customer service was very friendly and quick! They did a great job! The ring is so light and perfect for him!

My husband and I got matching wedding bands from Johan and I'm so happy about the way that they turned out. I wanted something really different from the standard gold band I see on everyone, and Jewelry by Johan had so many choices to pick from. We went with a wooden band with a metal stripe and I love the way it looks on me. One of our rings did have a spelling error, but they took it back immediately and fixed the issue. Their customer service was top notch in resolving this tiny issue.

My husband & I are both science educators, so when we found out we could get wedding rings made of dinosaur bone, we knew they were perfect for us! Jewelry by Johan worked with us from the beginning, answering questions and recommending sizes. They even sent us a few pictures so we could pick which piece of dinosaur fossil we wanted our rings to be made from. When our officiant announced that our rings were made of titanium and dinosaur bone during the ceremony, a knowing chuckle came from most of our guests! They were all excited to see the rings during the reception, and of course we loved showing them off. The bone is polished nicely and has such incredible patterning. And as my inorganic chemist Uncle wrote in our guest book—titanium rules! If you want a piece of jewelry that is truly unique, while enjoying personal service, go to Johan!

Not much of a gold and diamonds woman. This was really the only place I looked for my wedding ring - I knew the second I got a glimpse of the rings. It's made of meteorite and perfect. It's great to have something that's not a big rock or a plain band of gold. Something simple and just a bit different. It's beautifully made and the process was easy. Can't say enough about it!

My husband got his interchangeable bands with three different wood grains and a meteorite. All are gorgeous!!! The lead time was very long but they sent a stand in ring for the wedding day. Totally worth the wait. His ring(s) is incredible.

Johan designs and hand makes beautiful rings, incorporating elements from nature, like bone, horn, wood, meteor, etc. Yes, Meteor. Mu husband wanted something different, but not weird, and Johan's rings fit the bill perfectly. It isn't cheap, but it is perfect and one of a kind, and total quality. Every email I sent was answered very quickly and clearly.
