right for the job. I chose, against her advice, to go with Jewels. I can honestly say she was 100% right about this one. I liked Jewels, not because of her personality, but because of her "no nonsense" attitude and seemingly strong credentials. Pre-booking was fine, she's certainly pricier than other folks, but again, thought we were getting one of the best photographers in the business. On wedding day, she takes this super serious, "no nonsense" approach, a bit too far. I would say more like "militant" and "very bossy" would better describe her. Her partner was awesome, and overall the experience was very average with them . When the photos came out, many were good, but several were blurry and their elevated shots were horrible. In one pic, they had a bar going ride through the Grooms head so you couldnt even see the face. Unfortunately, exactly one year after our marriage, we ended in divorce. I contacted Jewels to ask if she would cancel our artwork, since she hadnt purchased any materials, nor had she produced any prints. She immediately refused, citing the T&C's of her contract where it states " "All sales are final, no exceptions." I could understand if I tried to cancel her for the actual wedding event, but this was artwork that she hadnt created, nor had we even chosen which artwork we wanted produced. If you want a bossy, rude, militant, heartless photographer, that doesn't take great photos, go with Jewels. Otherwise, there are lots of many great photographers that will treat you with respect and have a heart. Find someone else is my strong recommendation.
