Rabbi Annie is the best! We worked with her for our wedding and we had a co-officiant as we wanted an interfaith ceremony. She worked with us and with our other officiant to develo...
p a custom and personal ceremony and she was excellent on the wedding day. We enjoyed so much getting to know her leading up to the wedding and we hope to stay in touch as she really was just an awesome person to work with. Would highly recommend.
We met with Rabbi Annie over Zoom during Covid and immediately liked her knew we had found our officiant. She is warm, caring, and thoughtful. As an interfaith couple (Jewish and M...
uslim), we value that Rabbi Annie understood and respected that while we wanted a nonreligious ceremony, bringing in certain aspects from each of our faiths would be meaningful to us and our families. Annie helped weave together a modern interfaith ceremony that incorporated the traditions and prayers that resonated with us. Rabbi Annie brings a modern interpretation that we found to be a perfect blend of old and new. In addition to her expertise at bringing together a multi-faith/cultural wedding ceremony, Rabbi Annie spent time getting to know us as a couple. We felt supported by Annie throughout the process, particularly when my husband suddenly lost his father a few months before our wedding. Throughout our meetings, she truly got to know us and understand our relationship, resulting in an incredibly intimate and heartfelt ceremony. The Rabbi’s words to us were personal and purposeful and something we will remember and cherish for a lifetime.
We inquired about having an interfaith ceremony and her response was rude and discouraging. She wasn't open to having a conversation like her bio says.
We loved working with Rabbi Annie Bornstein. We found her on the recommendation of a Jewish friend. We are an interfaith couple who don't belong to a synagogue, who were getting ma...
rried on Shabbat (which really limited our options for rabbis, of course) and during Sukkot, and we wanted a rabbi to officiate.
Rabbi Annie guided us through some gentle premarital counseling and met with us on Zoom several times to build and plan our ceremony. She also read our vows before our wedding. We appreciated that Rabbi Annie was enthusiastic about our love for one another, and that she encouraged us to incorporate all kinds of little personal twists into the ceremony, including the Kiddush with a special thermos and the Seven Blessings written by audience members. Our ceremony was complex and very personalized, and she led it effortlessly. She lent an air of gravitas to the occasion, and many guests remarked about how much they enjoyed her officiating. We feel lucky that we got to work with Rabbi Annie.
We had the pleasure of having Rabbi Annie perform the marriage of both of my daughters, one in May the second last weekend. She made each ceremony unique for each couple. I couldn...
’t have asked for a more perfect ceremony & can’t imagine them being married by anyone else! If you need a rabbi, look no further, you won’t be disappointed! She’s the best!
My husband and I were very happy we chose Rabbi Annie to officiate our wedding! She did a beautiful job. We are both jewish but we're not affiliated with a particular synagogue o...
r Rabbi. It was still really important to us to have a Jewish ceremony and Rabbi Annie made that happen. From the moment we met her I knew Rabbi Annie was the perfect fit for us. She is extremely warm, caring, and truly takes the time to get to know her couples. We met with her in person twice and then had multiple skype sessions. We had about 3-4 sessions of marriage counseling and then the remainder of the sessions were for us to plan our ceremony. She made sure that it incorporated everything we wanted and had many readings and vow options for us to choose from. We actually didn't realize she was also a Cantor so when she started chanting during the wedding we were surprised, but it was so beautiful! So many people complimented us on how nice our ceremony was and how much they loved our Rabbi (and we agree!!). I would highly recommend Rabbi Annie to other couples! She was everything we could've hoped for and more!
We were so happy with Annie as our officiant. She took the time to plan the perfect ceremony for us and we got a lot of compliments about how great our ceremony was. We did a Jewis...
h-Persian combination ceremony, and Annie went out of her way to make sure that both traditions were represented in the ceremony and went together perfectly. She also has a great voice for singing some of the Hebrew prayers. We would recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant.

place - not a "rent-a-rabbi." Rabbi Bornstein is professional, responsive, and kind. In addition, she really takes the time to get to know the couple. She is also very insightful and her speech at our wedding was just so beautiful and heartfelt. She truly did an excellent job. We liked her so much we even ended up inviting her to stay for the reception! I would highly recommend her. She is the b

ngs and helped us when things were getting stressful. We had an interfaith wedding (Jewish and Persian), and the Persian officiant was a little difficult to work with, but Rabbi Annie was a true professional and didn't let it ruin the ceremony. I truly think the ceremony would have been ruined if it was another Rabbi present.
The words she spoke candidly about us at the ceremony were heartfelt and beautiful, and you could tell she actually FELT something. (You can hear her here: https://vimeo.com/134305662).
THANK YOU RABBI ANNIE!!! We love you. You'll be hearing from us soon :) :) :)

In Rabbi Annie, we found more than an officiant. Annie helped make the experience of preparing for our nuptials thoughtful, intimate, and special; and what she brought to the big d...
ay, itself, made the ceremony powerful, rich and meaningful both for us and our guests.
As an inter-faith, same sex couple, we value that Annie understood and appreciated that our belief systems include a blend of secular Humanism and Judaism, and worked with us to plan the right balance of Jewish ritual with non-religious content. Annie worked with us to create a ceremony that blended tradition and modernity.
Rabbi Annie was generous with her time in pre-ceremony consultations. And she both patiently and assertively advised us to act on ceremony priorities when wedding planning got hectic. She worked well with our style of planning, and brought everything together prior to the ceremony so all pieces fell into place.
I don't even know how to begin to express how thankful I am for having had Rabbi-Cantor Annie officiate at our wedding. She made our ceremony so personal, intimate and thoughtful ...
that it made it one of the most special experiences not only for us but for everyone who attended. Countless people came up to me afterwards and told me that it was the most beautiful and memorable wedding ceremony they had ever attended. I know that the wedding is always special for the bride and groom but Annie managed to make every person in the room feel the warmth and love that filled the whole day. On a personal note Annie is one of the most loving and kind people and you can tell that she cares deeply for the brides and grooms who she works with - she truly wants the wedding to be the beginning of your personal and spiritual commitment to your marriage. She is engaged in getting to know the couple she will be marrying - she guaranteed that the wedding ceremony reflected our personalities and incorporated all the elements we wanted. She picked up on so many little details that we told her in passing that made the ceremony a fun surprise for even us to us to listen to! Not to mention that Annie's beautiful singing filled the room with beauty in a way that few other rabbis are able. I am so thankful that Annie was there on my wedding day, it truly would not have been as meaningful, fun and special without her.
Rabbi/Cantor Annie Bornstein created a truly beautiful baby naming service for our twins. She was genuinely interested in making this occasion unique and meaningful for our family ...
-- not just creating a standard baby naming. It was a pleasure to work with her and we would highly recommend her for any type of religious event (wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, naming, etc). Rabbi/Cantor Annie was warm, knowledgeable and professional. Our family and friends all commented on what a personalized and beautiful service she provided.
