During the conversation, Jill draws your design. Fabric, silhouette, color, and details are all customizable. watches, motifs, photos, magazines -- anything that inspires your vision for your gown. Jill will be inspired with you as her muse, creating a dress just for you.
-=Restorations=-
Creating new gowns is always fun, but something old can make a great “new” after a thorough renovation. Heirloom services range from repairs and textile stabilization to complete gown redesign and re-making.

Jill Andrews can turn anything into gold. She is a master seamstress who can turn a simple gown into something that looks custom made.
I'm convinced that Jill is a legit miracle worker and if you need any alterations done to any of your garments, especially a wedding dress, do not hesitate to entrust her with them...
. I had fallen in love with my wedding dress seven years before I got married, and by the time that rolled around the only one left in existence was the sample size 4 (let's be real, it was more like a size 0) that the model wore in photos. I reached out to Jill prior to purchasing to give her a general idea of my nowhere near size 0 measurements, and she eased my concerns and assured me that we would be able to make it work. And boy, did she deliver! I felt incredible, and comfortable, on my wedding day in the dress of my dreams thanks to Jill. Not to mention she is also an extremely supportive, fun, and encouraging person to be around! And her studio space is divinely charming as well. She is uber talented, and I even ended up purchasing some gorgeous Swarovski crystal earrings she created that I wore on the big day (and will wear for other occasions for many years to come). Perpetual thanks to Jill and her team!
I dreamed of wearing my grandmother's wedding dress from the 1950s, but didn't know if it would be possible. My mother had tried to wear it at her wedding, and was told it was impo...
ssible to restore.
I was delighted to discover that Jill could not only beautifully restore it, but also adjust it to fit me better than anything I've ever worn. I expected the dress to be beautiful, but the end result blew me away- it was breathtaking.
Jill is an incredible artist who also happens to be extremely down to earth and easy to work with. I can't recommend her highly enough!
I found Jill when I asked a local bridal salon where they recommend their customers to go for alterations. Jill was an absolute pleasure to work with! She so beautifully made my dr...
ess fit my body and I was able to confidently and comfortably move throughout the day. She was so kind and flexible, making sure my alterations were completed in time for the big day. Her shop is AMAZING and I even purchased my wedding jewelry and headpiece there! Cannot recommend enough.
I was referred to Jill by a friend when I was in a pinch to find someone locally for my wedding dress alterations. The backstory is that my family's tailor in Philly unexpectedly r...
etired (he did alterations for me 15+ years) and I needed someone here who I could trust (key word!) to do the work with precision. My friend's wedding dress was intricate and I was aware of the attention to detail given to her gown... so that was enough for me to reach out to the studio. I initially communicated with Jennifer, who was extremely pleasant and helped me schedule an appointment that fit my work schedule. I came to the studio (which is adorable by the way!) with a small list of alterations that I already knew needed to be done, but I also asked Jill and Jennifer to be honest with me about anything else the dress required. They both made me feel comfortable right away, provided an explanation for each alteration, and demonstrated the quality of their work. They also made me feel confident that the alterations would be long-lasting. The cost was what I expected to pay and I had factored that in when choosing my dress originally (this is a must - don't forget that part in your budget). At a later fitting, Jill was also able to take out a layer of fabric from the skirt of my dress to make it feel lighter/airy, since my wedding was the end of August (hot!). She and Jennifer even made an itchy piece of fabric become un-itchy. Like magic :-) On the wedding day, I felt absolutely fabulous in my dress. I could sit, stand, squat, walk, dance for hours, hug people, and twirl around without any concerns - and I think that really tells you something about Jill's and Jennifer's skills. If you're looking for meticulous technique and expertise, these gals are for you!
I restyled my mother's wedding gown from 1992 for my 2018 wedding. Jill & Jen are amazing artists who saw the end product. They deconstructed my mother's dress and reconstructed ...
it to fit my style. I was also able to wear her veil! The fittings were so much fun and it was sad leaving the final one! It was terrifying leaving my mother's dress there and knowing it was going to be cut up but we had a great feeling. The final product was absolutely beautiful & perfect! If you have a similar project in mind you can trust them to make your ideas reality!
I can not say enough about Jill! Not only is she professional and friendly her skill set is beyond what I could've hoped for. I worse my grandmother's wedding dress on my wedding d...
ay. The dress was originally made in 1947 and then worn again by my Aunt in the 1980s. Jill was able to restore it to the original after my Aunt added some 80s flare. The dress turned out to be the most talked about part of the wedding. I've never had so many compliments paid my direction!!! Jill and her staff met with me for multiple fittings. They were easy to reach and always one step ahead to make sure the dress would be a success! I can't thank her enough :). Highly highly highly recommend!!!

I was definitely stressed (panicked really), everyone was so patient and were so supportive through the entire process. I couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you!

ented artist and the dress she made for me is an absolute work of art! She brought my visions and ideas to life with her skill and creativity and, working with her was such a pleasure. She and Mia are such great people, my mother and I really enjoyed our time with them. I really feel honored to have met Jill (and Mia) and to have had such a one-of-kind masterpiece for my wedding day!
Jill and Sara can be summed up in 2 words - dynamic duo! I met Jill and Sara when I had a few bridesmaid dresses that needed alterations. After meeting them and seeing their desi...
gns, I knew that I wanted to work with them for my own wedding. And I'm so glad that I did!! I took my grandmother's wedding gown to them (from 1938). They re-did the sleeves and neckline into a flawless creation! My "re-created" wedding gown was the hit of my wedding! Everyone raved about how amazing the alterations were! Jill and Sara not only do amazing work, but they are so fun to work with!!
Jill and Sara are a great team. They were incredible throughout the whole process. Starting with the first fitting in August and up to the day I picked up my dress in September. Sa...
ra was very responsive by phone. I would suggest calling rather than email. Sara and Jill listened to my concerns about my dress. I ordered my dress from a shop in Delaware and they ordered me a dress way to big. I brought my dress to them and they did an amazing job. Sara took in over 8 inches, hem the dress, added detachable straps, and more. Really what did they not do, they are able to do anything you need done. I cannot thank them enough. The dress looked great. I went for one of my fitting; both Jill and Sara spend over an hour with me. They were able to take in the dress without changing the dress. You don't get this type of treatment at a bridal shop like David’s bridal. I would suggest this great team to anyone looking for alternations or looking to have a wedding dress made.
Jill and Sara are fantastic! I was able to have my dream wedding dress created from a picture that I have held onto for 13 years. Their work is exquisite, attention to details: ama...
zing. Both ladies were wonderful to work with. My family flew in from South Africa and had the opportunity of meeting Jill and Sara, who landed up helping them out with their dresses! I will definitely go back to see them when I next need a dress made.
