hotographer. From our engagement photos to winter couple photos, and FINALLY, our wedding, Jill exceeded all expectations. Photos were the most important piece of our big day as I knew it would go by in the blink of an eye and we wouldn’t have a chance to pay attention to all of the smaller details. I wanted to find someone that would make us comfortable enough to still be ourselves, while still helping us with what to do with our hands and how the heck to pose. Jill is so laid back and easy to get along with, and best of all, she made us look and feel like models – seriously, look at her galleries! On our big day, we had the typical family members and friends getting in the way of photos trying to get their iPhone shots, and Jill was so patient and accommodating, making sure we still got all of the family formals we had hoped for. Jill was extremely gracious and patient with us as we had to reschedule our wedding not once, but twice, due to COVID. When Jill had to charge a reschedule fee after the second change in dates, she threw in another photoshoot for us – which turned out amazing and was such a generous use of her time and talent. And did I mention she also let us bring our very poorly behaved puppy?! We have not stopped going through our wedding (and engagement!) gallery since Jill sent it (a month and a half earlier than expected!). We’re now faced with the (amazing) problem of choosing favorites from the hundreds of amazing images she shared. We could not be happier with how our photos turned out and feel so fortunate to have had Jill with us these past two plus years capturing our lives. The day of our wedding she was calm and confident, directing us when needed while also letting us do our thing and mingle with guests. We’ve only seen our sneak peak so far, but wow! I saw some of her work in Rocky Mountain National Park and we decided that would be the perfect place for our photos! Jill was so patient with us! So I set out to find a photographer who was able to capture those charged emotional moments with grace, and pose awkward newlyweds so that they look like Vogue models (because my husband and I need all the help we can get). I found Jill on Instagram and instantly knew she was the perfect fit! Her photos speak for themselves and have the perfect mixture of candidness and artistry. In person, she is the sweetest, most helpful person to have around on your wedding day, and super super patient. She gives just the right amount of direction while making sure you are still doing exactly what *you* want to be doing on your special day. ld be difficult to find vendors being that we could only communicate via telephone and e-mail. When searching for a photographer, I started off with some good ole millennial research- Instagram. When I came across Jill’s Instagram page, I KNEW I needed her to be our photographer. I reached out to her via email, and hours later, actually received a phone call from her. I had contacted many photographers before her and she was the ONLY one that actually replied back with a simple phone call. I love that she wanted to ensure that we were a “good match” by having a simple conversation about what I was looking for before we actually hired her. Not only did we hire her as our wedding photographer, but we also traveled to Colorado a few months later for Jill to photograph our engagement session as well. Let me tell you, that was one of the BEST decisions we made during the planning process. My (now husband) is extremely camera shy, hates being photographed, and is convinced he never looks good in pictures. Jill did such a phenomenal job making him feel comfortable and confident during our engagement session. He was SO happy with our photos, which is rare for him. We did our engagement session at Rocky Mountain National Park, which I highly recommend if you get a chance to do engagement session with Jill. She told us exactly how to pose and made it look so natural. It was an extremely windy day at RMNP when we made our way to the top, my hair was an absolute mess! I was so nervous that I wouldn’t be happy with those photos, but they were actually my favorite ones- Jill made my winded hair look so romantic! Fast-forward to our wedding day, I love how organized yet flexible Jill made our day. We got married at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs and the way she photographed the property made it look like a true fairytale. Her passion, creativity, and professionalism really shined through even during the most stressful moments. Our wedding day pictures look like they came straight out of a story book! I couldn’t be happier with my engagement and wedding day photos, Jill was such a dream to work with and I couldn’t imagine anyone else capturing the most special moments for us on our wedding day!

Jill worked with me (we're not local) to select a site for our engagement pictures that suited our personality - the pictures were outstanding. My husband and I are awkward people - I think Jill specializes in making awkward people look good. At first I was a bit hesitant about Trendy Booth (when I heard open-air photo booth, in my mind I imagined a tacky, spectacle in the middle of the wedding). I was VERY pleased - people had fun, the accessories provided were tasteful and cute, there was an attendant ensuring that people knew what to do. We got multiple prints of each photo (one for our guest book, one for guests in the pic) and we got a digital copy too. So far, we've seen the sneak peek of our wedding pictures (the wedding was very recent), but what I've seen so far is glorious. I will say that throughout the whole process, I felt Jill went above and beyond; she was far-and-away the best vendor I hired. My husband and I decided not to do a first look - I got the sense from Jill and from my wedding planner that most people these days have a first look. It helps with the efficiency of the day. Nevertheless, I didn't want to do a first look. Jill never gave me a hard time about this, she just worked extra hard to make sure that we'd still get all our pictures done in time for us to enjoy our reception after the cocktail hour. Jill is relaxed and reliable and she does fantastic work. I FELT I COULD TRUST HER (so important) and I was right. What more could you possibly want?

I fell in love with her immediately! So genuine and sweet, not to mention an incredible photographer. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, the moments Jill captured are so very special. On the day of our engagement shoot, the location we picked didn't have the fall colors we were hoping for, so Jill offered to meet us at a different location the following day for a few additional hours, where we were able to capture the fall foliage we were hoping for (something that was not included in our package). Jill's artistic touch makes the photos stand out from the every-day wedding photos and poses you're used to seeing. Every person I've show our photos to comments on how great our photographer was :) So very talented, professional and WONDERFUL to work with. Jill was always responsive... I don't think I ever waited more than a few hours to hear back form her via email, and texting was immediate. She made my husband and I feel confident and comfortable, and we are so thankful. portfolio we knew we had to have her shoot our wedding. She did both our engagement and wedding photos and they were phenomenal! I did not really have a plan or list of pictures that I wanted besides the general family and bridal party shots and she captured everything perfectly, despite the fact that we took many of our pictures in really bright light. She put up with a drunken obnoxious groomsman, us having our dogs in the wedding, and my crazy family all with a smile. She also found a great 2nd photographer to help her for the day of our wedding as I requested, AND stayed at the reception all night on her own time to take photos of the party. She clearly loves what she does and is an incredibly talented, hard-working, and caring artist who really wants you to love your pictures. e a bit of time researching Colorado photographers but had not been impressed by any of them, until I saw Jill's work. She truly has an eye for unique, beautiful portraits. She is so friendly, and my fiance and I truly enjoyed getting to know her during our engagement shoot. I live out of state, so I also really appreciated all of her help leading up to the shoot. Not only did she respond to all of my questions and emails almost immediately, she was also a HUGE help recommending locations for the shoot as well as places to stay/things to do/restaurants to visit while I was in Colorado. ar as a professional. So she was affordable but had plenty of experience from second shooting with other photographers. My sister made the wedding cake and a friend did my makeup. Somehow Jill made that ugly cake and ME look good! Jill was very kind and professional. We met with her for drinks eight months before the wedding and thought she was hilarious and talented so we booked her then and there. Jill had never shot at our venue in Evergreen so I asked her to visited the location and she did and even met with our coordinator before our big day. Leading up to the wedding Jill always emailed me back within an hour or two that I had a question and that was very important to me. She was always where the action was. I shouldn't have worried about where she was or what she had shot. A month after the wedding Kevin and I received our photos first online and then we got a USB in the mail and I was in shock. STUNNING! There were photos of my invitations that I never even saw her taking. A picture of Kevin getting ready that was so cute! I didn't even know he was able to be photogenic but she was able to get some wonderful candid ones of him. Many of the color photos had black & white identical ones to go with it and I really appreciated that. Of course Kevin's mother printed almost all of them right away. Kevin told me later that Jill helped them with their boutineers because none of them could figure out exactly where to put them on the jacket. Jill was always helping you can tell she's done this a thousand times. I still have people from my wedding that tell me how they enjoyed interacting with her with the formal photos and at the reception. Always a huge smile. I can tell she was meant to do this!

She and her second photographer, Sara, were incredible to work with. jill's work played on the natural lighting that my outdoor seaside wedding had to offer. She captured the most special moments of the day (my mom presenting me with her wedding gift, my groom crying when he saw me for the first time, my bridesmaids reactions to seeing my dress) in perfect timing!

We're so thankful that she was ready at the spur of the moment for any changes (like moving family photos inside when it started to rain). She has all the equipment and is very thorough.
