Jill is the best! She is communicative and efficient, with results that compete with hair stylists much more expensive than her rates. She was wonderful to work with electronically, over the phone, and in person. I had minor tweaks the day of my wedding (i.e. a bit more volume, move my part over a hair *pun intended*), and she accommodated them with ease. My hair lasted the entire day! My bridal party loved that their range of preferred styles were met as well. Read her directions thoroughly and communicate, and you will be in the best hand. Thank you Jill! <3

Jill did a great job on wedding hair for me and my bridal party. After the trial she adjusted it to how exactly how I wanted it for the wedding day. My hair lasted all night and the next day too at the brunch. Jill is so nice and fun to talk to, works fast and is priced very reasonably.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience than working with Meghan from Up Your Do! Jill was a pleasure to work with. She was super responsive and organized, making sure everything was good to go on my wedding day. Meghan was amazing! She arrived early and was an absolute pro (and so nice)! She did a fantastic job accommodating everyone's different styles, and making any adjustments/touch ups that were needed. Everyone's hair looked amazing!! Bonnie did my hair for my wedding and the whole process was easy! I had 9 bridesmaids and Jill and her team made it easy to figure out a timeline of the day and number of stylists needed. My trial was amazing and the changes I wanted Bonnie to make she PERFECTED. My hair looked flawless all day and night, even after taking the veil out. I had extensions, a hair piece AND a veil and everything was placed to stay. I could not recommend Jill and her team more!!

I cannot recommend Up Your Do enough! Jill was very efficient with emails and Danielle did an absolutely SUPERB job on my hair as well as the hair of 5 of my bridesmaids and MOB/MOG. She made my wedding hair dream come to life. After my hair trial, there were some aspects I wanted to change. Danielle was very receptive to my feedback and worked with me to change everything to perfection. And my hair stayed perfect all day/night even after hours of dancing! Danielle was efficient, extremely talented, personable, and kind. Everyone looked amazing and I cannot recommend them enough!

Love Up Your Do! Affordable and beautiful work. Bonnie was our stylist and she was so sweet. We opted for on-site hair for our wedding and Bonnie was on time. Jill was great to work with over email. Really glad I went with them! Also if you’re booking Up Your Do for hair you should book Dylan Michael Cosmetics for your makeup! They work out of the same salon and make coordinating so easy. Dylan Michael Cosmetics is also reasonably priced and does great work!

I'm so happy I booked with Jill for my wedding. Jill accented the shades in my hair and weaved in my "something green" so perfectly. Jill was so easy to communicate with and all my girls loved Jill on wedding day! Jill helped all of us look our best. My hairstyle remained intact throughout the day and night. Jill was incredible. She is so professional and worked with me to ensure my hair was exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. I had a great experience at my trial, and day of she was right on time and made my bridal party look beautiful. I got so many compliments on my hair!!! Jill was a great choice for my wedding hair! I initially wanted a vendor to do both hair and makeup but found that Jill worked closely with MUA Cindy Singer (Dylan Michael Cosmetics) and it was easy and seamless to book both together. I wanted a simple low bun and Jill absolutely delivered. Booking the trial was easy and accessible as well (the salon is right across from the septa train line). Would recommend and book Jill again!

I used UpYourDo for my wedding on 10/5/24 and they were incredible! We communicated with Jill Kozar throughout the planning process and she included Bonnie and Danielle in all conversations as they were the hair stylists on the day of. Bonnie and Danielle made myself, 7 bridesmaids, MOB and MOG, and 2 grandmothers feel like actual beauty queens. Coming from someone with hair that doesn't ever hold a curl well and gets frizzy easily, I was very nervous about how my hair would look/ hold on wedding day. However, Jill recommended using extensions and Bonnie's styling on the day of was beyond what I ever imagined. I wanted long, "mermaid" hair and that's exactly what I got. We had Bonnie stay for touch ups throughout the day which was amazing, but I think the curls would've (somehow) held all day and all night even without the touch ups! Bonnie also flipped my hair into a "party pony" in less than 15 minutes. I got so many compliments on everyone's hairstyles and we all truly felt so beautiful. Additionally, Bonnie and Danielle not only ran on schedule but finished EARLY with time for touchups. I cannot recommend UpYourDo enough!!!

Jill was so responsive and easy to work with setting up my trial and confirming availability for my wedding date. She was very direct with pricing for services and very reasonable for the quality you get with them. I absolutely recommend booking them!! Bonnie was my stylist and she was so amazing. I loved working with her. I asked for a few small change from my trial and Bonnie delivered. I loved my hair even more the day of my wedding. My girls all loved their hair as well. Our curls held well. She was also very friendly and easy to talk to. Bonnie was early and she was ready to go when she arrived. She had 9 people to get done starting at 8:00 am and finishing by 1:00 pm. She was able to get us all done before that.

This review is long overdue. I got married on June 22, 2024. I had the absolute pleasure of having Jill and her team the morning of my wedding. Leading up to the wedding day, Jill was always very professional, kind, and responsive. I got to meet her at my hair trial and she put me at so much ease with her professional and kind demeanor. She made sure my hair is exactly how I wanted and did not rush through the process. On the morning of the wedding, Jill and her team arrived right on time and got to work! I had a total of 11 women getting their hair done for a 2pm wedding! Jill and she other stylist got right to work and stayed on schedule. Everyone's hair looked gorgeous and lasted through the day and night. There was record breaking heat the day of our wedding but our hair stood the test of time! I cannot recommend Jill and her team enough!

Jill did my May 2024 wedding and is incredible! I heard about her through a friend who had her for her wedding. We did a trial run in the summer where I asked for a down do with dramatic volume. I later decided that while I still wanted the same overall style, I wanted to go with a more natural version. She gave me the most beautiful and natural looking volume and wave. Jill and her second stylist also made my bridesmaids (5 of 7), mom, and mother-in-law look gorgeous. I used Dylan Michael Cosmetics for my makeup (with Casey as my artist) and between the two of them, I felt like a beautiful elven princess on my big day! They achieved exactly the look I had dreamt of. Jill was great to work with, friendly, and responsive. I’ll be recommending her to everyone I know.

I used Up Your Do for my recent wedding on 9/14. Jill and Bonnie were great to work with. Jill was extremely responsive to all my questions prior to the big day. I had my hair trial with Bonnie a few months prior to the wedding and was so pleased with the results. On the day of, Bonnie arrived promptly and was well organized, allowing us to stay on track with the timeline she had made for myself and the bridal party. She worked individually with each of my bridesmaids, MOB, MOG and flower girl to ensure everyone felt their best. Everyone loved their completed look. Everyone's hair still looked fabulous by the end of the night after hours of dancing. Overall I would highly recommend Bonnie. She was so fun to work with and everyone in the bridal party had nothing but great things to say about her and their final look.

Danielle was amazing to work with. She understood what I wanted and delivered! My hair held allll day long. All of my girls and my mom loved their hair as well. Everyone's stayed beautifully. Her personality was so wonderful to have hanging out with us all morning too. Great communication as well!

I was married on 8/3/24, and Jill and Terry did myself and bridal party’s hair. Between travel, arriving early for set-up, discussions with myself regarding scheduling, and overall experience, these ladies are phenomenal!! Their ability to take any hair style request and complete in a timely fashion is astounding! Also, every hairstyle looked amazing, and we all received compliments! Even through the humidity, the hairstyles stayed perfectly in tact the entire night. These ladies were also very kind and personable. I recommend them highly for anyone looking for reliable hairstylists!!

In honor of it being 1 year from my wedding (7/23/2023), I’m finally getting to reviewing my amazing vendors! Jill Kozar at Up Your Do is amazing! I was referred to Jill by one of my bridesmaids who was a former client as Jill did hair for her wedding! I was immediately intrigued by the reasonable pricing that Up Your Do provides because everything about weddings costs so much money and it is challenging to keep costs down. Then reaching out to Jill, she was so responsive with contact and even referred me to a makeup artist (Cindy at Dylan Michael Cosmetics) she works with because I did not have one yet. I did a trial with Jill before my wedding and she was super flexible, helping me try out a few different looks to see what I really liked best! I ultimately made some last minute changes to the look on my wedding day too and she was super flexible to make sure the look was what I wanted and that I felt beautiful and confident! I loved my hair and felt so beautiful all night long! She also did a fabulous job for my mom, my mother-in-law, matron of honor and 4 other bridesmaids! She works quick but does a fabulous job! We were done ahead of schedule and everyone looked great all night long! One of my bridesmaids even booked her afterwards for her own wedding in June 2024! Highly recommend Jill and Up Your Do for your wedding hair needs!

Jill and her entire team were incredible!! We are so grateful for her entire hair team since we were two brides getting ready at different locations! From our hair trials to the big day she created our dream hair looks and offered guidance to my wife who wasn’t really sure exactly what she wanted. A huge plus for us was that she worked directly with Cindy from Dylan Michael Cosmetics out of the same salon (who did our makeup). Jill is beyond talented and we are forever grateful for her and the for team making us feel the most gorgeous we’ve ever felt on our special day!! We plan to use our entire makeup team in the future for special occasions when we’re able! LOVE THEM! 🩵

Maureen who did my hair was amazing! I have hair that refuses to curl normally but Maureen gave me beautiful curls that lasted the whole day! She also did an amazing job with all my bridesmaids, mom, MIL and flower girl.

I was lucky enough to have Jill as my hair stylist for my wedding day! She was so amazing during my trial making sure it was the exact style I was comfortable with. During the wedding she was professional, kind, and respectful when completing 6 of my bridesmaids different hairstyles!! We all appreciated her time with us in the morning while we were getting ready!

I absolutely LOVE JILL, she is super fun and cool and truly AMAZING at doing hair. She gave me the romantic updo of my dreams for my April 5 wedding, and it lasted all night and survived getting pulled on by my very heavy veil. She also gave my mom an amazing hairdo, my mom was so thrilled that I was shocked, because she hates when anyone does her hair and was anxious about having someone else do it. To this day she still talks about how much she loved her hair and wishes Jill could do her hair every day. I let my bridesmaids all pick their own hairstyles and they were all so impressed with how well they came out. Especially my SIL who has very short hair and never does her hair- Jill was able to keep her looking just like herself but well coiffed. I was obsessed with my hair after my trial and Jill somehow managed to make it even more amazing on my wedding day.
