While I was not able to hire Jill for my wedding day make-up (she was booked 12 months in advance!), Jill provided me with my spray-tan for my wedding weekend.
First, I will say ...
that I have only ever had 2 other spray tans in my life, both of which were custom, but were not best (some splotches and uneven color) and so I was VERY nervous to not only have a spray tan for my wedding (although I desperately needed one!), but to also get a spray tan from someone who had never tanned be before!
I spoke with Jill on the phone weeks before my wedding and she put my mind to ease immediately. It was clear how incredibly knowledgeable Jill is as she educated my on all the prepatory measures to take to ensure a beautiful tan.
During the tan, Jill was relaxed and highly professional. She made me feel totally comfortable and beautiful throughout the entire process. Her studio is clean and stylish. I wish I lived closer to St. Augustine so I could go back!!
My tan turned out absolutely perfect!!!! Jill listened to what I was looking for and delivered my exact expectation. The tan lasted perfectly for my wedding day (tan on Thursday evening, wedding on Sunday) and I got so many compliments. She truly delivered on my natural, "sun kissed" look! Haha.

elt like we were long lost friends that had known each other for years! I was originally blown away by her talent when I saw my face for the first time after the trial. I had jaw surgery about 3 months prior, and so for the first time in a long time Jill made me feel so beautiful that I couldn't stop crying in the car (makeup stayed on perfectly even with my tears so I was even more impressed with her talented makeup job).
A week before my wedding I decided I wanted to also have a professional HydraFacial done and again, Jill was my go to friend. After several years of adult acne, I wanted to make sure that my face was nice and clean before my wedding day. I spent a Friday afternoon and let me tell you, a HydraFacial is worth every penny. I walked out of my appointment with glowing skin and the picture does not even do it justice.
The big day finally rolled around and Jill came over to my parents’ house to get all of my bridesmaids and Mother ready to walk down the aisle. It was the most stress-free, enjoyable experience and my expectations were totally surpassed. Jill truly puts the gift God gave her to good use to help others. She is kind, patient, understanding, funny, and sweet. I feel like I have made a friend for life with Jill. She is genuinely full of love and life and I am so blessed to have her in my own life. I look forward to many more facials in the future and she will ALWAYS be my go to makeup artist for any future event. Thank you Jill for everything!

my make up for my wedding. When my fiancé and I got engaged and it came time to book hair and make up, I knew I was going to book her and ended up booking Mandi with Once Upon a Stylist for my hair as well.
From the time that I booked Jill to my wedding day she was so flexible, responsive and just wonderful to work with. I had such a great time at my trial and my make up looked perfect. My biggest thing was that I wanted to still look like me, I wanted to look natural and my husband was very big on that, too. I don't wear a lot of make up on a daily basis so he wanted me to still look like me.
Jill did an absolute wonderful job with that and listened to everything that I said about colors that I liked and what the look was that I was going for. I got married on December 18, 2016 and having her and Mandi in my hotel room the morning of my wedding to get me ready was just perfect. I was so relaxed all day and my bridesmaids had a wonderful time as well! Everyone looked so beautiful and I couldn't have loved my make up myself any more.
Jill is the best of the best and is just beyond talented, I can't recommend her enough.

she great to talk to as you’re sitting in her chair getting made-up, but she is so accommodating with the look you’re going for. I had her darken my lips a bit and add a little more blush to my cheeks and she wasn’t offended and gladly appeased my requests! I just saw a few sneak peaks of some of our wedding pics, and my makeup literally is flawless and glowing. I danced the entire night away and since getting my makeup done at noon on my wedding day, the ONLY thing I ever touched up the entire night was my lipstick. I kid you not when I say that I didn’t have to touch up anything else on my face. No blotting away oily spots on my forehed, no adding concealer. NOTHING but adding lipstick! Jill is a godsend and you MUST have her do your wedding day makeup. You and your bridesmaids will feel like royalty and look flawless!

e bride, it was so nice and comforting to know that I did not have to worry about my make up- Jill was so responsive throughout the planning process, my trial was amazing, and the wedding day was more than I could have ever asked for. I'm not quite sure how Jill does what she does in the time that she has- she did make up for me, my mom, my mother in law, and six bridesmaids. Everyone was so thrilled and the pictures are stunning!! To top it off, her personality is amazing- as others have said, she makes you feel like an old friend. Jill came early to my hotel room and spent the whole day with me, my bridesmaids and moms. She worked her makeup magic on me and all the ladies in our wedding. She is incredibly talented and lovely to be around! Every woman (and their husbands) loved how they looked. We all felt like Bridal Barbies for a day. When people ask about our wedding, all I can say is, "I wouldn't change a moment."
As I look at our photos, I am reliving every moment all over again. And really enjoying the beauty of it all. One of the reasons I was able to enjoy my wedding was because of Jill's work. e up done. My wedding was April 27th and I had a total of 10 girls plus myself to have their make up done. She was amazing, she asked me first what my vision was for the girls and stuck to it, which I very much appreciated. My make up was flawless, of course and our mothers were beyond happy with theirs. One of my girls doesn't wear much make up at all and Jill listened to this and was able to apply just enough to ensure she felt beautiful but still remained feeling like herself as well. These are the things that make up a great MUA, someone who listens to the needs of the bride as well as the needs of the girls to make sure everyone feels the most beautiful they can. Her technique is flawless and if you want someone that will make sure you look gorgeous and stay looking gorgeous for the duration of the ceremony and reception- then call and book her!
