Jillian was absolutely phenomenal! Her skill at creating vintage Hollywood waves was true artistry - she made me feel like the most beautiful modern bride with a touch of glamorous 1920’s movie star. Jillian is unmatched! She is the most incredible and talented hair and makeup artist I have ever worked with! Jillian is extremely professional and her time management and ability to stay on track is superb! A few weeks ahead of time she had me send her hair/makeup inspiration for my bridesmaids/MOB/MOG inspiration photos and she made a detailed timeline based off the complexity of the hairstyles/makeup. We were ahead of schedule the whole day!! She is so detailed, thorough, and well prepared! She was able to take her time with each person and make them feel beautiful and special! Many of my bridesmaids said this is the best wedding hair/makeup they’ve ever had! A few weeks before my wedding, I decided to go with a different makeup look and she absolutely nailed it! My hair and makeup is truly better than I could have ever imagined! I had a 2pm church ceremony and I booked Jillian for a few additional hours up until my the end of cocktail hour. She was extremely attentive, not only to me but also to my mom and bridesmaids. She followed me around all day- made sure my hair and makeup was perfect at all times and for every picture! She also gave me an iconic hairstyle change before she left- from soft down curls to a beautiful party pony!!! I highly recommend booking the extra hours! Jillian has such a wonderful personality and was a joy to be around all day! She also did my rehearsal glam which was stunning as well! Highly highly recommend Jillian! When I need my hair and makeup done in the future, I will definitely be calling Jillian!

Jillian did an incredible job! She was very professional and easy to work with. Jillian and her assistant finished my hair and 13 of my bridesmaids hair in a timely manner. She was very thorough and well-prepared. She also stayed with me during my first look with my husband and during pictures to help make sure my hair looked perfect! Jillian was absolutely the most incredible stylist and makeup artist for my wedding!! Both her and her assistant Julie did mine and my bridesmaid's hair and makeup flawlessly. My entire bridal party said they've never had hair & makeup look that good in their entire lives. She also handled an issue with my MIL with incredible grace and patience and was willing to do whatever it took to make everyone feel comfortable and beautiful!

Do yourself a favor and book Jillian! At my trial we tried many different looks to really nail down what was going to be best. She has an impeccable attention for detail. I frequently asked for her thoughts/opinions since this is her specialty and always appreciated her thoughts. She recommended a ponytail for my second look and I was not considering that at first but turned out amazing. I loved my power pony! My best recommendation is to book her at least through cocktail hour. She was with me all day touching up my hair and makeup. It was great to have someone always fixing your hair and makeup during important pictures. She also helped the wedding morning with some groom makeup because of some unexpected razor burn. And then helped with his hair too during pictures. As I mentioned, great attention to detail and so easy to work with!

Where do I even start? Jillian was AMAZING to work with. Her attention to detail was beyond anything I could've ever hoped for. I went into my hair and make up trial about a month before my wedding not 100% sure about what I wanted my look to turn out like. Jillian took my inspiration pictures and made my dreams become a reality. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. During our outdoor ceremony, it rained HARD. All of my bridesmaids and my hair and make up stayed PERFECT. I also absolutely loved that she was willing to stay as much as I wanted for touch ups for pictures. It made my day that much less stressful.

Jillian absolutely knocked it out of the park with my wedding hair and make up! She was an easy decision to make when it came to who I wanted for my special day! Not only is she a family friend of my husband's family but I have worked with her in the past and she always does such a perfect job! You can give Jillian an inspo picture and she will nail it. She is so talented at what she does with out missing even the tiniest detail. Not to mention we did a quick hair change between the ceremony and reception... she had it done in just about ten minutes with a style that looks like it would have taken hours to accomplish! She followed me around until the reception to make sure my look was perfect every step of the way. Jillian is a special talent to have here in the area and I cannot wait to book her again for a special event soon!

We LOVE working with Jillian. She is a joy to work with and always goes above and beyond for her clients. This woman works super hard, is on sometimes on site for the entire day usually on her feet and has a smile on her face the entire time. She is sweet and personable. I am not sure where to begin when writing a review for Jillian Nieman. Let me begin there is a reason she was voted "Best Make Up and Hair Artist Finalist" For Wisconsin Bride Magazine. Prior to the wedding, Jillian worked with each participant to help create their inspiration look they wanted to achieve. She "nailed" their wishes!!! On the wedding day Jillian and her assistant went above and beyond their abilities to create and highlight the beauty of the entire bridal party. She stayed with us for touchups throughout the entire day including riding with us on Steam Yacht Louise. Even though we had a very hectic schedule, she stayed calm for us!! 5 starts don't give her enough credit - she deserves 10+. Way to go Jillian!!

I'm that person who has to look at every last page of options before selecting something... so believe me, I spent hours researching hair/makeup artists around Lake Geneva. I came away totally convinced that Jillian is THE best in the business, and feel this even more strongly after seeing her work her magic at our wedding! I still can't believe my bridesmaids and I were so lucky to have her glam us up. She exudes confidence, experience, and a tasteful eye for tailoring hair and makeup to each person individually-- no cookie cutters here. She even asked to see my bouquet colors so she could recommend a lipstick color that worked for my face AND coordinated with my flowers. Jillian pulled off everything from the "warrior princess" look one of my bridesmaids wanted, to tasteful minimalism for my girls who hardly ever wear makeup. This make up artist knocked it out of the park on my wedding day. Everyone looked gorgeous. One girl had tried to recreate make up from a photo 3 times and Jillian was the first make up artist to get it exactly like the photo. She was also so incredibly organized and professional. She had 10 people ready ahead of schedule and looking like they were glowing!

Jillian and her team are the absolute BEST! Everyone's hair and makeup looked phenomenal and it lasted through the whole night! The amazing thing about Jillian's service is that she stays for touch ups throughout photos, etc! I was so glad for thing because we got married on a warm summer day, and she was always around to make me look fresh! She also was able to help me with a look change (went from hair down to updo for the evening). I can't say enough about how amazing Jillian and her team is -- I highly recommend them!

For an extremely HOT August wedding day (I'm talking upper 90s) Jillian and her assistant Sami, went above and beyond. They both took their time making myself and all of my girls look amazing and payed such close attention to every detail. Jillian, and her assistant Sami, did my wedding makeup, my mother's makeup, my mother-in-law's makeup and my four bridesmaids makeup. Both Jillian and Sami were AMAZING! Jillian was so accommodating with my hectic schedule, while planning the makeup trial, she was on time for the wedding and stayed late to help. She also helped with my hair, which was so kind as she was only booked for makeup. She really brought out everyone's natural beauty and made everyone comfortable. Makeup stayed on all day, even in the incredibly hot weather and sweaty dancing, and was incredibly well done. Each bridesmaid had their own unique twist that brought out their best qualities. Her warmth and kindness radiate and everyone loved her (especially myself). She was such an integral part of the wedding day and wedding planning. It does not get better than Jillian! She was beyond perfect! I am very picky about my hair and makeup and she did not disappoint. From the initial contact to the day of, she made sure I loved each part and gave me tips throughout the day to make sure each moment was picture perfect. I knew I wanted to hire a hire and makeup artist for my girls and I, and the choice was easy: Jillian! From the moment I went to her website and saw her work, I knew she was going to make me feel and look my best for my big day. YOU NEED TO HIRE JILLIAN!!! She did an absolute flawless job on my makeup, my bridesmaids and our moms! Everyone was also OBSESSED with their hair, which she did as well, and I couldn’t have asked for a more seamless process from start to finish with her! She followed me around up until my reception so after my ceremony when I was a crying mess, she still had me looking flawless! She even rode around with our photographer and videographer in our golf cart when we were trying to get the perfect shots by the lake. Jillian was my fairy godmother! If I could give her and her assistant (Sami) 10 stars, I would! Working with Jillian was a dream. I had the privilege to hire Jillian and her team for HMU at my wedding. I did a trial with her and she spent 4-5 hours making sure my hair and makeup was exactly how I wanted it. I wanted extensions for my wedding day and she had no problem working with them. She was very prompt on any communication, mostly email. She had sent me a schedule soon before the wedding so I was able to send to bridesmaids. She arrived on time and got right to work. She did amazing work with all the girls. Her assistant did great as well. My favorite part about Jillian is that she stays with me for 8 hours total and I ended up hiring her for 2 hours more. So, while getting photos after the wedding, she was there fixing my hair and makeup. Just prior to the grand march, she put my hair into a ponytail that put together in a lobby of a resort. Looking back, I am definitely happy I hired her and kept her extra time until grand march. I would highly recommend Jillian both for great HMU during wedding day but also the extra perk of her being there for at least 8 hours. My girls loved it as well.
