Jillian is AMAZING! Words don't even begin to describe how happy we were with Jillian's work. To begin with, I planned our wedding from afar, so I was nervous about not meeting our...
photographer before, however, after one call with Jillian I felt like I had known her for a long time. She was so warm and listened to all of my concerns, what I wanted, didn't want, etc. From the moment she arrived in the midst of all the craziness on the wedding day she knew exactly the shots to start capturing and getting down to business. She captured every moment perfectly from our first look, to dances with my father, breaking of the glass, and everything in between. I think the hardest part about working with Jillian was getting back TWO THOUSAND PICTURES and having to pick my favorites (it's beena month since I got them back and I still haven't been able to do it lol!) Jillian truly was able to capture the biggest moments from the best day of our life and truly depict our relationship. We are a fun couple, as are our friends and family, and she never tried to make our pictures be anything but that. She also captured the veil shot I wanted spot on and knew all the nooks and crannies to go to at our venue. I would highly recommend Jillian to anyone and everyone, she is truly SO TALENTED and not to mention the sweetest person ever to work with.
There's so much to say about Jillian! I knew right away that I had to work with her as a bride. She was quick to respond to emails about timing and questions I had, even months and...
months before the wedding. On the wedding day, she was on time and very helpful. She knew our venue well (The Addison), and wasted no time to get gorgeous shots, even with inclement weather!! We love our photos and really appreciated having her be a part of your wedding day. Thank you so much!
Even before i knew what church and venue i wanted, i knew exactly who i wanted my photographer to be! Both my husband and i are beyond thankful for Jillian. From the very beginning...
she worked with us and accommodated us, she made us feel very comfortable and to me that is very important. She was very professional and always so nice! If you were having a bad day and you received an email from Jillian you would automatically have a better day. The moment i saw her pictures i fell in love with her style! The lighting in each and every picture just took my breath away. We are in love with our engagement pictures and we totally cant wait to see the magic she made in our wedding pictures. Thank you JILLIAN! You are the very BEST!
We had such an amazing experience with Jillian! Her attention to detail, her calm composure, her endless ideas when it came to helping bring our vision to life through her images -...
we couldn't have been happier! She was such a pleasure to work with, and from the sneak peek images we received from her during our honeymoon (such as sweet surprise!) her work is absolutely stunning. We didn't want a bunch of posed, super traditional pictures, as we prefer candid, photo-journalistic shots instead. Jillian delivered the perfect blend of candid and classic, managing to capturing moments that appear fleeting, genuine and intimate. We highly recommend her for any couples who want images that feel like raw, stolen glimpses into their special event.
When it comes to Jillian, her photographs speak for themselves... Before I met her, I knew she would be just as wonderful, if not, more - than the pictures itself... I was not mist...
aken. Jillian is such a joy to work with! She really made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and truly brought out the best in us. The photos came out insanely gorgeous too -- so much so, that my friends are looking to hire her for their wedding as well. What I love about her work is that she doesn't do the typical "posing" picture. She really captures the moment, the tears, the nerves, the laughter and everything in between. I just love her so much! She was so incredible to work with and I am so happy God put her in our place! We couldn't think of anyone better to capture the biggest and most important day of our beautiful lives.
When the time came to select a photographer, my husband and I researched dozens, contacted several, and spoke to a couple. After weeks of searching, I started to question whether I...
was being too picky or if I was becoming that dreaded Bridezilla I was afraid of. My husband being the amazing man he is, never complained and continued to search for someone who I would approve. We weren’t going to hire a videographer, so I was determined to find someone who could capture magic with their lens and who I would feel comfortable with since they’re such a big part of the day, especially when you think of all the time you spend with them during the intimidate moments when you, as a bride, are getting ready for one of the biggest days of your life. I thought I wouldn’t find the “perfect” photographer and was about to give up until Jillian was recommended to us by one of the dozens of photographers we contacted. Not only did Jillian meet all my crazy standards, but she exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we “met” Jillian on Skype, we both knew she was a breath of fresh air! She was genuine, kind, and wasn’t bothered or overwhelmed with our requests. I had some slight worries because a lot of her work was using natural light and our venue was going to be dim and the church was also short of natural light, but ever the professional, Jillian sent me some examples of a recent wedding she shot at our venue with similar dark colors and all my worries melted away. The next request we had, was that we really wanted pictures from the reception because we knew there would be a lot of dancing…after all, it was a big fat Greek Colombian wedding! Jillian, along with her second and third shooters, managed to capture moments that my husband and I will treasure for many years. As I sit writing this review, I look over to my right and I smile at the framed pictures from our wedding. I remember thinking on that day, how much I wished I could take the happiness from that day and place it in a bottle, so that I may relive those feelings whenever life would get in the way. Needless to say, our wedding album has become that bottle….it holds pictures from one of happiest days in our lives. We are both thankful to Jillian for being not only an incredible photographer, but an outstanding person with a heart of gold.
