I first reached out to him, all the way through getting the first batch of photos, Jim was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and helpful during the planning process- even helping to give us some ideas. On the wedding day, he was even earlier than we had paid him to show up, giving us extra time to get shots with the bridal party getting ready. He has a great presence, friendly and funny enough to blend in with all of the people in our wedding party, but also magically fading into the background during the ceremony and reception to get shots without ever getting in the way or making it feel like a photo shoot instead of a wedding. And then, of course, the photos! I picked Jim because my Matron of Honor had used him, and I loved her photos, and the first batch we got back from him did not disappoint. He stood out in the rain to get great pictures of us, and it paid off, because some of the pictures while he was getting drenched are the best ones. We cannot recommend Jim enough!

We got a 10 hour package, so Jim was with us from the morning hours capturing all the getting ready moments to well into our reception capturing all the crazy dancing moments. Jim does the standard type of wedding photos you'll definitely want, but we'd say he's really great at capturing the essence of the key moments of the day. For example, I played a surprise song for my wife and Jim snapped a wonderful picture that really highlighted her surprised/overwhelmingly happy expression. These words don't do it justice. If you go with Jim Harris though, we guarantee you'll have pictures that make you say the same thing. Additionally, he is incredibly polite/personable, helpful (he helped some of the groomsmen with their ties!) and punctual. He also worked very well with the videographer that day, someone whom he had never even met. We had access to our pictures within a couple of weeks and if it wouldn't have taken us so long to pick our pictures (it was so difficult to choose because there were so many good ones!), would have had our album within a month or so. In short, we would highly recommend Jim when it comes to his services. He has a high quality product- but more importantly- he is a high quality person.

y great. He was willing to travel to NJ for our engagement session, which turned out beautifully. The day of the wedding, he was great! He showed up early and started taking pictures right away, he worked with me on ideas of shots I wanted and captured so many more moments than I could have asked for. The second photographer, Rodney, was fantastic! They were never in the way and captured every moment of our special day. We got our pictures back very quickly too! It is amazing to look though all of them and be able to feel the emotion within the picture. We love Jim and are so happy with what he did for us!

h budget and personality. He traveled to the shore for our wedding and was extremely accomodating to our needs. Just got our wedding pictures and they are beautiful! Jim really captured the sentiments of our day like I never imagined possible. I would strongly recommend him to other brides looking for an unobtrusive, easy going, great photographer!
