AMAZING JOB!! Leading up to our big day Jim talked with us on the phone about what shots we would like moments we want captured and he also came up with great ideas for shots as well! The photos we got were absolutely beautiful the photographers on our wedding day (2 of them) were so fun and worked SO hard to get all these amazing shots of candid moments great angles lighting everything! They were so thoughtful and tried their best to give us a plethora of footage! We look through the photos and are taken back by how beautiful they came out it’s like we’re still there! We all definitely have shed tears of joy over these beautiful photos they took. One of the photographers even helped me get my dress all fixed up with my bustle in the back!! One of them held my shoes as we were leaving the beach as the waves. Very kind people who all give their hearts to this! We love our photos, thank you so much!!

Working with Cheryl & Jim was the best! They were organized, responsive and very accommodating to any changes. Cheryl was amazing on the day. The quality of photos, the amount of photos and the way she put everyone at ease was great. I would highly recommend them for any photography needs. You won't be disappointed!

I am so happy that we chose to work with Jim and his team for our wedding this April! Jim was great to work with in advance of our wedding. He was prompt, friendly, professional, happy to jump on calls to chat through day of planning, and was flexible with the package that we needed for both photo and video. Megan shot our wedding and she was such a joy to work with! She made the day fun and relaxing and put my husband and I at ease. Cheryl from Jim Kennedy photographed our wedding and she was a dream come true. She was so calm and easy to work with…she even came to my rescue with a bandaid for my injured toe! Honestly, when looking for a wedding photographer, you want someone who will give direction but also keep you sane during the madness. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Working with Amber and Megan with Jim Kennedy Photographers is a dream come true! We are a Disney couple and as a preferred vendor of Disney themselves, we simply couldn’t say no to the opportunity to work with them! Their work is beautiful, bright and timeless. We had the pleasure of working with Megan for our Engagement Shoot last minute, because Amber was having her baby that week (BTW her and Jim called us to check in on US and the sudden change)! Megan was AHMAZING! We had so much fun with her in the parks, she helped up find all sorts of spots, backgrounds, and perfect lighting to make our pictures magical, fun, and flawless. We can honestly say that it was the perfect kick-off to celebrating our wedding. Then we get the photos and WOW! Fast forward to our wedding at Disneyland Hotel. Amber was back and ready, she communicated with us weeks in advance, she helped us organize our timeline with our special accommodations and had our must-have list printed the day of to help capture all the shots and even scouted in advance to help find the perfect backgrounds and lighting! She was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. To our surprise, Megan who had just had her own baby, joined her and it was truly one big happy reunion! Our day was magical, fun, and gorgeous, just look at our photos! They encouraged our imagination, were sensitive to our families, and truly helped make it a memorable and priceless experience. Amber also joined us for our Castle Photo shoot and let me just say, as a plus-size bride, I felt like royalty and my prince wasn’t looking too bad either ;). She ensured we had perfect shots, creative, vibrant, magical, and loving. Bottom line: You will not regret having these amazing photographers shoot any occasion you ask for, we would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Jim’s team was recommended to me by both my venue and my coordinator. After working with him, I can see why. He is prompt, professional, and makes sure that the bride and groom are getting the shots they want. He kept the timeline moving and had excellent suggestions for where to shoot for the best photos. We snuck off before our cocktail hour for sunset photos and the result is stunning. Honestly your wedding day flys by in a blur and you end up so hazy on details, but thanks to Jim’s photos I am immediately reminded of all the specifics and overwhelming feelings of love from my family and friends. Looking at our photos is like getting a giant hug- he so perfectly captured the mood and feeling of the day. Thank you!!!

Jim Kennedy and his team are the absolute best. We hired him thanks to our amazing coordinator, whose own wedding he had shot. The photos he captured of us for both our engagement and wedding shots were absolutely breathtaking. He was timely, responsive, flexible, and so friendly. His team and our videography team (Jon and Caroline from Epoch Productions) worked together flawlessly to capture our special day and provide us with some priceless and beautiful memories. Our photos and video were both ready within weeks of our event! We are forever grateful for Jim and his team!

I highly recommend Jim Kennedy Photographers. My communication was mostly with Jim himself, and he was super easy and kind to work with. I am so incredibly happy we worked with the photographer Amber. I actually had not talked to her until our engagement photo shoot a few days before the wedding, and it was so natural working with her. I myself am not good at posing or taking pictures so I greatly appreciated her direction. We got a few pics back from the engagement photo shoot and the lighting and photography style is exactly what I was looking for. Amber is extremely talented and fun to work with. Amber and her assistant Ashleigh were a dynamic duo during the wedding and captured all of our special moments. I can't wait to see the wedding pictures! I definitely will be working with them again in the future regarding other events.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Before hiring Jim Kennedy Photographers, my now husband and I visited 6 different venues. Every venue we visited had Jim Kennedy Photographers listed as a Preferred Vendor. I took that as a sign to reach out for their services, even though I thought there would be a risk of them being unavailable for my date (as it was in September and September is a busy wedding month). Jim reached out to me that day and we scheduled a phone appointment. To my surprise, Jim himself was available on my wedding day! We spoke for about 5-7 minutes. He asked questions about my now husband and me, our vision, and about himself. I felt comfortable with him and felt like we would work well together. We decided to book with him, and we are SO GLAD that we did! Jim was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. He was running around with his team to ensure we had the perfect shots. He even held my 10 ft long train to make sure it wasn't dragging on the ground. That's dedication! Before he left for the night, he asked if there were any specific shots that I wanted. He was very open to shot ideas, and sticks to the timeline very well. Jim is experienced and has been in the industry for 20+ years, and it truly shows in his work. I will have SO MANY amazing and beautiful pictures to look back on and cherish. Do yourself a favor and hire Jim Kennedy Photographers!

*THE ONLY PHOTOGRAPHERS YOU SHOULD CONSIDER FOR AN OC WEDDING!* Found on Instagram and fell in love. We worked with Cheryl and Megan for our wedding day, and they were nothing short of spectacular. We got to know Cheryl early during our engagement shoot. Fun, friendly, and a great person to help us overcome the awkwardness of doing romantic poses in front of strangers. Also, turns out she's one hell of a photographer. Her choice of setting, light, and poses were nothing shorty of stunning. Best part was she guides you the whole way through, like a model at a photo shoot. Day of they were even better! They came early to bride/groom for the prep shots, and basically felt like part of the wedding party. Great candids and staged shots. At the ceremony, we barely noticed them, which is actually a great thing if you've ever been to a wedding where the photogs are tramping all over the place and become a major distraction. Despite hardly seeing or hearing them, they managed to capture some amazing shots of the most important parts of the ceremony. Once we hit cocktail hour, their professionalism hit peak form. Knowing that we wanted to really just get to the party, they had us ready to go. Knew where to take the shots, what poses to make, who goes where, etc. But also all while having fun and helping make us smile. They were *especially* great with the flower girl and ring bearer to make them giggle and smile and not hate standing around while we were doing grownup things. Family pictures can be tough, especially when there is a big extended family, but they were able to keep things running quickly without being rude, and making sure everyone felt appreciated. The shots of the reception are priceless. Our venue looked gorgeous, the settings, the cakes, the glasses, and everyone involved. Lots of great candids of friends, family, and ourselves all enjoying the loving and fun atmosphere. We were legit sad to see them go, but glad they were there to capture every second of the big day.

Jim Kennedy was able to accommodate our tight budget and was easy to get in touch with. Megan was a blessing the day of the wedding. She helped us stay on schedule and was able to get all the photo shoots that we both wanted.

Just had our daughter's wedding on June 8. Megan was the photographer. She was wonderful, happy, easy to work with, and worked hard to do everything that we asked for in terms of pictures. Can't wait to see the pictures.

The absolute best, quick and gets the most beautiful photos

Megan with JKP was amazing! She is beyond sweet! She was also very patient when our wedding party was being loud and not listening. She was on time, polite, funny, all smiles, and was more than willing to take extra photos that I asked her to do. So far I have only gotten back my sneak peeks, but every single photo is drop dead gorgeous! I have gone back and looked at those pictures multiple times to reminisce about how amazing our wedding day was, and each time, it brings tears to my eyes. For me, the MOST important thing in the entire wedding was my photography, and I can already tell just from the sneak peeks that all of my pictures are going to be perfect! I definitely recommend Jim Kennedy Photography, and more specifically, I HIGHLY recommend Megan!

Amber was our wedding photographer and she was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly and made everyone feel totally comfortable. She captured so many amazing moments not only at our wedding but also our engagement photo session. She was very flexible with our schedules and made sure everything went smoothly. Jim and His team was absolutely amazing. He took the time to make sure all our photos we’re perfect. Megan shot our wedding and she was spectacular!! My family and I cannot stop reaching about how amazing she was! She made the photos go so quickly which was appreciated since we were running behind. Megan (from the Jim Kennedy team) was the photographer for our engagement shoot. Megan and second photographer Kristen shot our wedding on 6/30/18. I am absolutely 100% satisfied with our experience and photos! They are absolutely stunning! It was so easy from the beginning of the process to the end. Megan was fun, outgoing, and made us feel at ease! She gave us direction (which we needed) but also asked if we had any specific "must have poses/photos" that we wanted. She made my vision come to life! She was a hit with the flower girl and ring bearer, making funny faces in order to make them laugh and smile. Megan and Kristen were a great team and it was nice to have two photographers during the day so one could shoot the groomsmen and the other the bridesmaids during the time before the ceremony. This company is GREAT!!! I got the privilege to work with Amber and she was the best! She was so easy to work with and fun! She had great ideas and talk about a quick turn around! When we started planning for our wedding, my them fiancé and I agreed that having quality photos were of the utmost importance to the both of us. We couldn't have made a better decision than Cheryl with Jim Kennedy Photographers. From our engagement session to the end of the reception, Cheryl was an absolute gem. She made us feel so comfortable, which isn't a very easy thing to do when you're in front of a camera. She captures genuine moments and is very detail oriented. She took the time to scope out our engagement session location prior to the shoot and researched locations for at our destination wedding spot. She cares about the quality of your photos as much as you will. Cheryl is also calming and organized. She sent a timeline for my wedding day that helped me communicate with the rest of my wedding party and vendors and ensured a smooth flow to the day. In the midst of the craziness of your wedding day, Cheryl helps guide you through the whole thing and keeps you happy and calm. She also has a ton of corny jokes to help even your most sour-faced family members crack a grin in the moment. She's there when you need her and also "invisible" to the party, in that she'll capture moments you had no clue she was even there for. I can't imagine being any happier with the photos from the most important day of our lives so far.

Absolutely perfect! We hired JKP for my wedding in January 2017 and all of the photos were absolutely wonderful. We met with Jim, and he worked around our schedule to discuss our engagement photos and upcoming wedding. Cheryl was my photographer for our engagement photos and the wedding day. We were obsessed with the engagement photos. Cheryl knew exactly how to get my Fiancé to smile naturally (definitely a hard task). We loved all the photos and were so excited to share the engagement photos with our friends and family. I couldn’t wait until the wedding. We had a daytime ceremony so the morning started on the early side. Cheryl & Lauren were there bright and early with smiles on and ready to shoot! She captured every moment we wanted and got shots that I never would have dreamed of. They were fast, knew how to wrangle a crazy family and move everything along to not slow down the per-ceremony process. Jim Kennedy did an amazing job for our engagement and wedding photos. He was easy going and made us feel super comfortable during our sessions. The photos were absolutely gorgeous, and the photographers did a wonderful job capturing moments throughout the day without over-posing. Jim was great about listening to what we wanted out of our photos and made so many good suggestions. Photos were great and we're now working on our album. Really good company to work with!

Jim has been amazing!! We booked him for the engagement photos, my boudoir shoot and our out of state wedding. He was so accommodating with our locations. The engagement photos and boudoir photos are out of this world. I'm looking forward to our wedding photos. His co-photographer, Lauren, was very sweet and paid so much attention to detail. They both helped scout locations on the property to capture the most perfect shot. Would highly recommend them!!

We used Cheryl for our engagement photos and wedding and absolutely love her! She is friendly and makes you feel comfortable and natural when taking photos. She took some great shots during our engagement photos that we used for our save the date. During our wedding day, she was very patient especially with our mothers wanting all sorts of different photos, but she handled it like a pro! And her assistant, Megan, was great at getting our one and a half year old niece to laugh, smile and look at the camera. Cheryl did a blog post with some highlights photos less than a week after the wedding which I absolutely loved, and had ALL of our wedding photos back to us in a little over a week! Overall I highly recommend JKP. They are great to work with!

We had a destination wedding in Costa Rica and did not conduct a site visit beforehand, which was totally fine with us, but added a little extra stress and uncertainty days before the wedding. I stressed about the flowers, shuttles, logistics, etc that ended up running on "Tico time" (Costa Rica's laid back time), but the ONE thing I never batted an eyelash toward was whether or not our photographer would get the right shots. I had 110% confidence in Jim and his assistant, Cheryl. They took care of scouting locations beforehand and knew exactly where they wanted us to stand for certain shots on the day of our wedding. Of course, we were pressed for time after hair and makeup, but Jim and Cheryl helped us stay on track and really streamlined the process of first look and wedding party shots. Within three weeks of the wedding and amidst the holidays, Jim posted a couple hundred photos of our wedding on his blog and we COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! It's amazing how a photo transforms from standing in a bare-bones plane fuselage to an iconic, breath-taking photo. Jim and his team are truly talented with their eye for creating and capturing the perfect shots and moments. In full disclosure, Jim is a friend of ours through our CrossFit gym. We know him on a personal level, but when it came time to shoot our wedding, Jim was all business. His level of professionalism is admirable. He was attentive to all our concerns and captured our desired photos with family and friends. During our wedding party photos prior to the ceremony, everyone was sweating like crazy from the heat and humidity. The guys' shirts were practically soaking wet and they were complaining about it the whole time, but not once did we hear Jim say a peep about the heat. If anything, he was telling the guys to pretend they were in the Arctic! I wouldn't have trusted anyone else with our wedding photos, especially for our destination wedding!

My husband and I met with Jim in his studio and immediately knew we wanted to book him. His pictures are truly amazing and he has such an artistic eye. He was great with communication and always asked us what we wanted. He delivered our engagement photos when promised. Our session was such a blast! On our wedding day, he and Cheryl (who is also amazing) arrived on time and kept us on schedule with photos. They had great ideas and were there to capture those great moments. You can't go wrong with Jim Kennedy... truly amazing!

We met with Jim but he wasn't available for our date so we decided to go with one of his other photographers. We got Cheryl and couldn't be happier with how the photos have turned out so far! She was amazing and is so easy to work with. We spent more time with her since she did our engagement photos but Amber was with her on our wedding day and she was great too! Hands down would recommend all of them!!

Thank you to Jim Kennedy Photographers for capturing our special day! I am a very camera-shy (I’d even say camera-awkward) person by nature, but Jim and his assistant Lauren made me feel immediately comfortable and excited about documenting the big day. From the minute they walked in, I knew I had made the right choice when hiring a wedding photographer. We had had a few brief conversations in the lead-up, and during that time, he immediately understood what we were looking for – nothing overly stylized or dramatic, but definitely special shots of a special day. After that, there was no need for a reminder or overly planned out shot-sheet, Jim had it down! Jim’s familiarity with the venue and expertise with shooting weddings were invaluable. We went to one courtyard for the “first look,” and lo-and-behold, there was actually another bridal party already there. Without missing a beat, Jim switched gears, called Lauren -- who was with the groom -- and rearranged it for a different gorgeous indoor setting on property. They were also on point in getting smiles from our adorable but stubborn 3-year-old participants: a feverish flower girl and a distracted ring bearer. Within a day of the ceremony, Jim had put up a couple of sneak peeks to social media, and we are SO excited for the rest. He posted one of our first kiss from the officiant’s view, and as another testament to JKP’s abilities, I didn’t even notice that Jim had snuck up there! Throughout the entire day and evening, he and Lauren were unbelievably efficient and professional. Jim was able to get a beautiful range of posed shots before and after the ceremony, but he made sure we missed as little of the party as possible. Somehow, we never once felt rushed or panicked, and I don’t know how he struck that balance, but he did, and we couldn’t be happier. While shooting candids inside the reception, Jim and Lauren managed to seemingly cover everything and everyone, without ever feeling intrusive or interfering with the flow of the party. I enthusiastically recommend Jim Kennedy Photographers to anyone looking for someone to really do justice to his or her big day! (I’ll update the review once all of the photos come in, but I didn’t want to hold off and risk forgetting some of the important details!)

6/10/2015 I have to first off say I am shocked that there are any bad reviews for JKP! I guess everyone has their own experience and judges accordingly. I personally would give Jim Kennedy over a 5 star rating if it was an option. I for one LOVE JKP! I was referred to Jim back in 2006 after my sister used them for her wedding and her album and prints were phenomenal! I was engaged back in 2011 and had picked JKP for my wedding photographer naturally and had put our down payment and scheduled the big day. Unfortunately things didn't work out and I didn't walk down the isle. I of course was trying to recoup what expenses I could and JKP kindly let me keep my down payment as a credit to use at any time. No other vendor I had scheduled with did anything close to that, all the rest took my money and said too bad. I was fortunate to get engaged and married 5/31/15 and when I contacted JKP years later to inquire about my credit and book my wedding day they had everything still there and was a breeze to proceed forward. My engagement pics were amazing and turned out even better than I could have imagined. Jim Kennedy was our actual photographer and traveled out to where we live to get our perfect photos we wanted. The day of the wedding Jim was fun and made things enjoyable. He had my little ring bearer laughing to get those candid photos and kept things moving. I have only seen 2 photos at this point of the big day but they are beyond perfect and amazing. I have always been able to receive correspondence quickly from the JKP team and would recommend them over and over to anyone looking for a photographer. I plan on using Jim again in the future for my maternity pics when the time comes.

I don't have enough good things to say about Jim and his crew. They are amazing photographers, and they took amazing photos of my wedding. They also did fabulous engagement photos of my husband and me... we were playing in the waves of Laguna Beach (per Jim's urging) and the pictures turned out very special. Jim has a great way of helping everyone feel comfortable, that way the pictures are candid and genuine. He also made me feel comfortable for my bourdois pics!

We saw Jim Kennedy's albums at nearly EVERY resort we considered and fell in love with his work every time. Our wedding coordinator suggested a photographer but he was an amateur and cost $2000 including engagement photos. We thought we should just see what ballpark someone like JKP would be and boy am I glad we made the call! For a little more, we had engagement photos plus two amazing photographers following us around on the day of the wedding! Stephanie Brockman-Kennedy did our wonderful engagement photos and our wedding. I gave my husband a "For His Eyes Only" book as a gift the day of the wedding too... He LOVED it! Cheryl shot the boudoir photos and our wedding as well. My wedding photos are so AMAZING that people on FB have suggested we submit them to bridal magazines! I wouldn't gamble with the pictures being taken on one of the most important day of your life... Jim Kennedy Photography are professionals and a sure bet every time!

My only complaint was my photographer tried telling me my mom wanted to change the order we took family pictures. I know for a fact that my mom NEVER said anything about the order, because we discussed the order many times prior to the wedding. I have been a wedding coordinator for 7+ years and understand the order photographers typically prefer to take the pictures, however with the age of certain family members I decided to change that order a bit.

Jim is in a class of his own! Simply said, he's incomparable. After meeting with many photographers and seeing the standard wedding shots, we finally met with Jim and were blown away, not only by his passion, but his work too. He takes wedding photography to a whole new level and his pictures are breathtaking. He shot our engagement pictures, which were gorgeous and he's amazing to work with. His pictures always show genuine reactions, not forced smiles, which is a response to his great personality and interactions. He knows just how to make you feel at ease in front of the camera and captures beautiful moments. I can't wait to use him for every future event in our lives!

Dawn and her assistant from Jim Kennedy did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding. My husband hates being photographed but they did a great job of making him comfortable and he looked great in the final photos. We were especially impressed with the photos of the reception, she captured some great moments on the dance floor and of all our guests having a great time.

I felt like we paid a large amount on money for the photos and we were rushed the whole time taking pictures so it was hard to feel relaxed and get the full potential of the photo. Hard to reach emailed him three times and never heard back. We haven't seen the photos yet but based on what everyone says he's amazing so maybe when we see them it will make up for it.

I could not say enough good things about Jim Kennedy. He was definitely my favorite vendor. He took the most amazing pictures at my wedding and he was so friendly and had such positive energy. everyone loved him. He even stayed extra to capture everything from that night and didnt complain or say anything. I truely love him and i think any bride that gets him is so lucky!!! His work is amazing!!!

well worth the money. Dawn was our photographer, she has a great eye and very artistic. Have not seen the final wedding pictures but loved our engagement pictures and expect the same. We will be looking at these pictures for the rest of our lives and I am so glad that we spent the extra money to have great pictures/memories.

Jim was referred to me through a friend and I am so lucky to have found him. He did our engagement pictures and our wedding. My fiance was very nervous to take pictures and he made it easy and comfortable for us. He takes a lot of unique and spontaneous photos, so that not all of them are silly poses. You get two photographers for the day and the quality of the pictures are amazing. Loved him and would recommend him to anyone!!!!!

Jim is a wonderful photographer. His pictures are amazing. He is also very efficient. His photo shoots are really fun- He takes you to many different backdrops and sets you up for many differnt kinds of shots. He really gets you to losen up if you are not used to having pictures taken of you. I am sooooo happy with the engagemtnt session photos that he took as well as the actual wedding photographs. If you used Jim, you wont be dissapointed!

I did a lot of researching for photographers since I felt that was my most important vendor and would 100% recommend Jim Kennedy Photographers. Jim Kennedy did our engagement pictures - loved them. Eric Cotter did our wedding photos - loved them. Eric was great to work with and we were so happy with the finished product. The only thing I would have liked differently was more photos of my husband and his groomsmen getting ready. Although I know this probably happens at many weddings, I felt there were some photos missed. I did give him a shot list, but perhaps it was my fault for not having someone from my side make sure they were checked off. Overall, we were very happy with our experience. We have not yet received our album, but the quality of the photos speak for themselves. Great photographers!

Ladies and gents, I'm going to save you a lot of time trying to find "THAT" photographer by just giving you Eric's #. We chose have our engagement photo shoot up in Los Angeles Union Station. The golds, oranges, browns just brought out the colors in our formal pictures. We had booked Eric in advanced and he met us up there- on time, and ready for fun. He joked around with us a lot and got us to try poses we wouldn't think about on our own. It was fun running around and catching glimpses of his work when we were running to each of the different venues he knew about. I think that's what makes a good photographer great. When they know how to scope out the cool spots, the pictures will just tell the story. Every thing seemed random at the time, but in sequence, it's pretty awesome. Jim Kennedy's studio paired our engagement photos with Michael Buble's song, "Everything". Nathan and I are opposites, yet we're complements. That became "our song", the moment we saw the pictures. Brings a tear to my eyes when I hear it. The wedding was awesome. Eric and his assistant were on time, ready to shoot our engagement party turned surprise wedding. When you're there to capture the moments when tears are streaming down people's faces, it just makes it that much more of an honest moment. One of my favorite pictures are on the stairs at the Surf and Sand. We looked so relaxed, so happy, so content. Eric captured all of those pictures, of us laughing, pulling off what we had been planning for half a year. Before your big day, think about what's important to you. All the planning, preparation, worrying about all the small details will all fly by fast. A great photographer will be able to capture the big day and all of it's little details- pictures will be all you'll have left once the wedding's over. This is hands down the best investment we made for our special day. Eric books up fast, so don't wait. 714-420-2842. I had Eric Cotter as my photographer for my engagement pictures and for my wedding day pictures. He was the BEST!! He is the well worth the price, his pictures are so beautiful and everybody in my family was pleased with the end result. I WOULD RECOMMEND ERIC TO ANYONE WHO WANTS AMAZING WEDDING PICTURES! =)

The ONLY reason im giving 4 stars and not 5, is because i have not got my wedding pictures back yet and i cannot be 10000% positive. We did our engagement session with them and were THRILLED..and the wedding day experience while taking pictures was great, so i have nothing but very high expectations! All the staff i had contact with was great and answered all my questions and concerns! Would def recommend!!!

If you want stunning and unforgettable wedding photos, hire Jim Kennedy. He has an outstanding reputation in his home town down in S.Cal and is building his business up in Napa. Out of all the wedding albums we saw when we were visiting various venues, his stood out and we knew we wanted to hire him from the beginning. He is creative, uses backgrounds and lighting innovatively and professionally, and while he gets all the standard shots you would want to capture, he also gets the magical "WOW" shots you would not have imagined. He is also super flexible and easy to work with, was very on time and on top of it, and willing to work with you. It's nice to have a talented but also flexible, easy going vendor who is client oriented as it makes you relax and enjoy your wedding day all the more!

I knew I wanted to work with Jim Kennedy long before I was planning a wedding. I worked near his studio and was very aware of his talent. Jim was the only photographer we met with and as soon as we walked out of meeting my husband and I were so excited to work with him that we knew we didn’t need to look any further. Most of our coordination and communication prior to the wedding was with Tiana who is part of Jim's team and she was so great to work with. She was very sweet and helpful. Even when our plans would change she was very reassuring and always so pleasant to work with. Once our big day arrived Jim and his assistant were equally as great. He is extremely professional and unbelievably talented. He was fun to have around and was also very calming for me. Whenever I would get worried about how much time we had left he would say don't worry everything is great and you are fine. I didn’t stress once! Besides having a tight window of time to work with we also had a huge wedding with our wedding party alone being 24 people! Jim was wonderful and being able to get everyone together and worked so well with the large amount of people and kept things moving and organized. Everyone loved having him there. Our photos are incredible. He seemed to capture every moment and emotion perfectly. We are so lucky to an unbelievable amount of great photos which we are constantly complimented on. Our families are so happy with the quality of photos we received and looking at the photos allows us to relive that perfect day over and over.

Jim Kennedy was amazing. From my engagement pictures to my wedding day. He made us feel completely comfortable and confident. Our pictures turned out beautiful and we receive a TON of compliments on them. Very professional. I would HIGHLY recommend.

these photographers have lots of experience - especially at the venue we chose. This was a nice bonus because they knew which areas of the property were best for pictures during certain times of day/ weather. Out of our 700+ photos atleast 500 of them were fantastic! This made it difficult chosing photos for our album - there were just so many to choose from!;While they are experienced I felt as though it took extra effort to communicate to the photographer the style / certain shots that I was looking for.

He was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. He knew how to keep his distance. We have not recieved the DVD yet. It has only been a month since out wedding. We should recieve it next month sometime.
