Jim serves couples in the Charlotte area but has a love of travel that brings him to destination weddings all over the world. His work has been featured in publications like Style Me Pretty, Brides, and Southern Weddings.
Jim has always maintained an active role in the arts. Before becoming a photographer, he played drums in a band. He picked up the camera while on tour and quickly discovered his passion. Since then, he has accumulated 10 years of experience behind the lens. Jim’s photos are inspired by romance and new adventures.
Jim’s style is timeless and sophisticated. He believes that every photo tells a story and aims to give you a visual representation of the story of your wedding day. Each picture is carefully captured, playing on the light and environment to preserve every treasured moment.
As Jim offers couples his undivided attention on their wedding day and in the weeks leading up to it, he takes a limited number of bookings each year. He works closely with couples to coordinate a timeline and ensure he snaps all of their desired shots. Collections can be customized based on clients’ needs, and a range of photography items can be ordered. Jim is also available for portraits including engagement, boudoir, and trash-the-dress sessions.

e has an amazing eye and captures so many unique shots that most people dont even think about. You can truly see the emotions of the subjects in the pictures. My bridesmaids and I were running pretty late on the wedding day and he easily rolled with it and adjusted his schedule to make sure he got all the shots we wanted. from a business perspective as well. He is prompt, detail-oriented, flexible and thoughtful. A lot of his packages included Engagement Photos which we didn't need, so he came and shot our Rehearsal Dinner instead. Jim was great with keeping everyone on schedule the day of, yet keeping the photo shoots light and fun. He was never "in the way" during the ceremony/reception, yet captured all the perfect images.
