Jimbo's Club At The Point

t this venue a few years ago and I immediately knew that I wanted to host my wedding there. I tried to find other venues that could provide the same feeling of Jimbo's and I simply could not. From the very first email that I sent to inquire I received prompt and professional communication. Sherie oversees the whole operation and she has the process down to a science, her experience really shows. The entire planning process was simple and everyone that we worked with was extremely helpful. The venue provides spreadsheets and charts for you to help streamline the process, they truly are professionals. Once the wedding weekend arrived we were able to have access to everything on Thursday which allowed us to bring up decorations, assemble welcome bags and put them in the rooms. We were married the weekend after Christmas so a lot of our guests stayed at the venue Friday-Sunday. We had a private rehearsal dinner followed by a meet and greet happy hour where we could mingle with our guests and enjoy each others company. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect!! There was not a single hiccup the whole day. We received so many compliments about the location, the food and the staff. I listed a few people that were vegan, gluten free etc on the seating chart and they provide special meals for each of these individuals without us even knowing. We had over 200 guests and the family style food option was so efficient, I insisted on this because I wanted to get right to the party. Everyone commented on how great their meals were. The staff is so fun and friendly they really helped add to the experience, we even received compliments on the servers! After the wedding we had a bonfire and pizza bar for our guests. The staff even held a special pizza for me to make sure I received some!! One of the things that really drew me to this venue was that everyone could spend the night which truly allowed our guests to enjoy themselves without worrying about driving home. So many of our guests decided to stay both nights which made our weekend so much fun. On Sunday morning we hosted a brunch which allowed us to relive the night and say goodbye to everyone. I loved the idea of having essentially a 3 day wedding so it did not end in the blink of an eye. I recommend Jimbo's to everyone I know. The price may seem a little high at first but the professionalism and experience of Sherie and her team made our wedding the best day of our lives. Book Jimbo's - you wont be disappointed!!

r guests were raving about how well they were treated - and the food! The portions were large and it all was amazing. I can't believe the amount of compliments we got on the food - it was worth every penny! We loved every minute of the weekend!

the style of cabins. Like I said, it was just what we were looking for. We planned a full wedding weekend for a lower cost since it was off season. Everyone is complimenting us on what a great time they had. The staff was very attentive for our needs and we had a multitude of comments on how fast and accommodating they were during the reception. Sherie was great to work with, she kept everyone organized and was on top of each step as it happened. One thing I would comment on is that not all the cabins were available to use since we had our wedding in the winter season. I feel like that wasn’t clear during our meeting. One thing that was tough to explain to guests was that there was a possibility they might be sharing rooms at the venue. More than half our guests were deterred from the idea and stayed off site. If you’re guests are more private in close quarters, they may decide to stay offsite which will offset some costs. It’s a gamble, but with the right group of people, it sometimes works out. Working with the staff Amy, and Annie were wonderful at answering all my questions. Jack B was hauling butt every time I saw him, and he was so helpful in getting our guests everything they needed and helping me with our slide show for rehearsal dinner. Overall great place and great people.

ot married here and it was truy wonderful both times. So many people raved about how good the food was! There truly is nothing else like this in the Adirnondacks, i know because i searched high and low! Its a but of a blank slate but when decorated is truly spectacular.

o above and beyond!

arried. The beautiful ADK scenery and camp setting provide a unique wedding experience that cannot be topped. We had all of our guests stay at the camp (about 125) and it made our wedding feel so much more personal that we were all there together! Almost everything is included in your package which makes everything super easy. Sheri and her team took care of us all weekend and were there to help us with everything we needed. The meals provided by the camp were delicious especially the reception dinner. We added the bonfires each night (fri and sat) as it provided a little extra time to gather with our friends and it did just that! We would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a beautiful ADK location and an outdoorsy/family gathering feel!

ng. You couldn't pick a better location for an Adirondack wedding. The views of the mountains, lake and pine-trees in our pictures look beautiful. Our family and friends loved sharing in the fun, outdoor activities we had planned throughout the weekend. We had most guests stay the weekend in the cozy cabins available to rent on location. It was the best weekend ever!

we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. Jimbo's is on a peninsula on Brant Lake -- a beautiful setting surrounded by the lake, with the Adirondack mountains on the horizon. The grounds are used as a camp for girls during the summer, so there are dozens of (nice, heated!) cabins and a handful of hotel-style rooms where wedding guests can stay. The site's double personality also means it can host lots of fun activities. Our wedding weekend, we had a soccer game, ultimate frisbee and bonfires on the beach. Jimbo's has chefs on staff that will work with you to create a menu and the food is really outstanding. Also, there are several wedding planner-coordinator types on staff. We worked with Sherie, Amy and Kelly and they were all super helpful, accommodating and supportive throughout the process and throughout the weekend. I cannot say enough nice things about the venue and the staff.

wedding party. Beautiful views!
