we lost power for about 20 minutes during the cocktail hour- although that was obviously not Jiminy's fault (and half the guests didn't notice because they had generators). The best part of Jiminy is that you can make a weekend out of the wedding. We had 200+ people there for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night (it was Memorial day weekend). The guests were at the adventure park, swimming in the pool, late night camp fires, etc. Tracy is so flexible and gave us space to do yoga and volleyball during the day.

It was a great weekend not only for us, but also our guests. They had the opportunity to stay on site Friday night before the wedding, which gave friends and family the change to meet, mingle and re-connect. We also didn't have to worry about people driving home the night of, and we could keep the party going. Staying on site in the suite also made the day of preparations easier.
The staff at Jiminy were very helpful through out the weekend as well. Nancy (Tracy's associate) was great helping us keep on our timeline through out the day of and made sure everything went smoothly.
The food was delicious as well, and nothing can beat the views from the top of the mountain.
I would say that the price per plate is average for most of the venues we looked at, but they do give you a variety of packages to choose from.
Honestly, this was the top choice for us and we're so happy we had our special day here!

We had a field day full of indoor and outdoor games, a barbeque with a bonfire, an outdoor ceremony, patio cocktail hour, banquet hall reception, and farewell brunch…all without leaving the property! All of the staff were phenomenal both leading up to and during our wedding. Tracy Grant, the Conference Service Manager/Wedding Coordinator, was particularly exceptional! But what really did it for us was the overall atmosphere we offered our family and friends for the weekend. It was truly an amazing weekend that out friends and family used to enjoy a very awesome weekend getaway. Being able to offer restaurants. activities. pools. and lodging all in one place made this weekend less stressful and so enjoyable. We could not have pictured a more amazing weekend.
Our only minor let downs were that we didn't get to enjoy our appetizers. We arrived late and opted not to use the separate bridal party area for coctail hour as we wanted more time to mingle with our guests so we were half to blame for that. Also, there was some confusion with a couple of the guest rooms, but it all worked out fine.
