ating! We cannot thank you enough Shelley!
Cannot say enough about this wonderful wedding venue. We were married at Jimmy Austin in August of 2020, and also had the reception on site. Shelley, the wedding coordinator at Ji...
mmy Austin took great care of us during the entire process, and worked around not only our schedules, but around restrictions due to Covid-19. They were very flexible and gave us a day to remember. Also, the Jimmy Austin vendors were top notch. Thank you to the entire Jimmy Austin team!
This was the perfect place for my daughter’s wedding! It was everything she wanted & more. Shelly, the event coordinator was wonderful. She planned, decorated, cleaned up & did eve...
rything in between. The venue was beautiful inside & out, including the table centerpieces, the cake table, guestbook table, sweetheart table, and moving the dancing outside worked out great under the globe lights. It was elegant yet comfortable. Thank you Shelly for a wonderful day & all the Covid precautions. It was a perfect fall wedding.
I cannot recommend Jimmie Austin Golf Club enough. Shelly is the coordinator that COMES WITH the space and she made my vision for our day exactly what I wanted it to be. She was ...
there for the day of as well and made sure that everything ran smoothly. The space comes with everything you need from chairs to linens, and if they don't have exactly what you want, Shelly will work with you to make your specific vision come to life. They have great catering options as well that you can choose from as well as a range of drink packages. Not only does this venue include a ton, it is also incredibly well priced. It is a very affordable option but DOES NOT look cheap by any means. I could seriously go on and on about how positive of an experience getting married here was and would not hesitate to recommend it for any event but especially a wedding!
Getting married during a pandemic was a tough choice to follow through with, but they made sure that everything was safe for our guests. We did end up cutting our guest list down, but that was more of a personal choice. We had outdoor and indoor seating options during the reception and our dance floor was all outside. We chose to get married outside under the provided pergola and it was beautiful.
Shelly, the venue coordinator, is an absolute angel and made the planning process for our reception at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club a breeze. This location is intimate and beaut...
iful, perfect for weddings both big and small. COVID-19 precautions were taken seriously with the safety of both guests and staff in mind, and our concerns were always prioritized. We received so many compliments from our guests for this venue, including for the dinner buffet and the bar service. Additionally, the price for this venue was such an amazing deal! Thousands cheaper than we expected. It truly is a secret treasure in Norman. We would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Thank you Shelly!
This is the best kept secret in Norman! Shelly is so easy to work with and very helpful. The venue was beautiful, able to open up or be closed depending on our needs and wishes. Th...
e fire pit was a huge hit as was the space we could have for outdoor games and dancing. Shelly does the decorating so we did not have not to worry about doing that or cleaning up. She has a variety of centerpieces and linens from which we could choose. We also had the ability to customize those decorations if we chose to. The food was delicious and everyone raved about it. It's on a golf course, so the views were stunning. We highly recommend this venue and Shelly.
We loved our reception at Jimmie Austin! It was the perfect indoor/outdoor wedding venue for our small reception. Shelly was great and helped so much leading up to and through out ...
our reception!
A year ago my daughter and I was in search of a perfect wedding venue. Jimmie Austin was absolutely a beautiful setting for a Fall Wedding. The moment we met Shelly Beedle we knew...
her expertise is what we needed. Our guest came from Canada, Jamaica, and various places in the U.S.A. Shelly has a beautiful personality and is so professional, that we had the very best day ever. Our families were able to enjoy every moment of our children's Wedding Day, while Shelly handled every detail. So, November 2, 2019, on behalf of my husband and I , Thank You Jimmie Austin and Shelly Beedle for making our daughters dreams come true. Shelly Beedle thank you for all the hours and dedication you spend with not only the Bride and Groom, but also the mother-of-the-bride. Best choice ever!
Love this place! We took a tour and just fell in love! Everything is just perfect and the coordinator Shelly makes everything easy for your special day!
We got married here on August 26, 2017 and It was absolutely beautiful. Shelly went above and beyond to make sure that both mine and my husbands wedding day went as smoothly as pos...
sible. The reception was on the greens and the
view was breathtaking. Our photographer got some of the most gorgeous pictures of our wedding. Our friends and family loved everything and we received many compliments after the wedding. The venue is large enough for a photo booth (which is what we did) if that’s something you’re interested in. that was something I had a difficult time finding- something big enough for a DJ space, open bar, a photo booth, and room for all of our guests. This venue was affordable and spacious. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone getting married.
I just had my wedding here and it was a dream come true! The ceremony was on a green, with a trickling river to the left, and rolling green hills in the background. The reception ...
was in a newly renovated pavilion that is breathtaking with stone walls, a fire pit, and gorgeous wooden accents. Shelly, the new coordinator worked tirelessly to ensure our wedding was perfect and ran without a hitch. She was easy to communicate with, detail oriented, and organized. She took care of almost everything, and it was so nice not to have to worry about the details on the day of the wedding. Shelly has been in the wedding business for a while, she has a lot of knowledge, and tricks up her sleeve. I highly recommend Jimmie Austin; the staff is incredibly friendly, the venue is perfect for photos, and Shelly is one of the best coordinators you could ever ask for. I had so many guests tell me that our wedding was one of the most beautiful they had ever seen.
They will try and charge you for every little thing, wether you ask for it or not. There was several times when I had conflicts with Chelsey, the coordinator, because she tried to ...
go back on things she had told me they would provide- and I had written proof of. Overall, everything worked out fine, she just was very stressful to work with, and often got my wedding confused with others, and details mixed up. The venue itself is very pretty though, and is great for warm weather weddings.
