Learning our custom dance routine with Phillipa was one of the best parts of our wedding experience! She came to our house and was always easy to schedule time with. We are not n...
atural dancers, but she made the whole process fun and approachable. We loved getting to customize some of the dance with her help. I'd recommend JiveRoc to dancers of any level! Thank you so much for making our first dance so memorable, Phillipa!
Phillipa is simply wonderful! My husband had never been taught how to lead a dance, and it was his idea that we take dance lessons to prepare for our first dance. Originally, my ...
husband and I came to Phillipa in search of a few, easy-to- execute dance moves to spice up our first dance. In just one lesson, we had so much fun learning from Phillipa and were so impressed with her patience, talent and incredible ability to help us master complicated looking steps, that I decided to come back to her with my dad so that we could prepare for our daddy-daughter dance. My mom, who is a very, very reluctant dancer, came with to watch our lesson, and when she saw how much fun my dad and I were having, she recognized that Phillipa could help her gain the confidence she needed to join us on the dance floor. So, my mom and dad ended up meeting with Phillipa for two lessons.
The day of our wedding, my husband and I were able to use our new moves not only for our first dance, but throughout our night together; my dad and I had a wonderful first dance; my husband turned into such a good lead, he was able to incorporate some of his moves into his mother-son dance, even though he and his mom had never gotten to practice before the big night; and seeing my mom and dad dance together was the cherry on top of it all.
Phillipa is an incredible teacher, and I really cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much!!
Phillipa correagraphed the 'first dance' for our wedding reception. We got so many compliments from our guests, and my wife's parents are still getting them. Phillipa was an excell...
ent instructor, even if she didn't have the *ugh hum* easiest students to work with. I don't think my wife or I had ever had dance instruction before and she got us on beat and on the dance floor feeling confident and looking good. We highly recommend her.
Phillipa is an excellent instructor and a fanatic dancer. For every appointment she comes to you; she was prompt and filled the allotted time. She is very professional and friend...
ly. She choreographed a special dance for the wedding song, and she was very clear and clever with her explanations to help us remember the steps. Thank you Phillipa and Jive Roc for making this a wonderful experience.
Our experience with Phillipa was excellent. She is more than just a good dancer, she's an incredible instructor. Even a dance newbie like me could understand her clear and clever...
explanations. She was always prompt, prepared, and she was willing to take as much time as we needed to perfect our moves. She choreographed a special dance just for us! AND, she comes to you, which is so convenient! I cannot say enough good things about JiveRoc and Phillipa.
