ter also ended up hiring Ji for her wedding signage in 2019 and Ji's work there was also amazing. I knew Ji's creativity and talent would be a staple at my wedding. Ji is so much fun to work with as she is super sweet and very responsive. I often wondered if all my emails drove her crazy, but through it all she helped me piece together the details of my wedding and her work turned out better than I could have imagined. Which is impossible considering I saw her work at two different gorgeous weddings. Ji truly wants to personalize her work to her couples. She asked questions about our relationship to figure out what was special to us in order to help her create a theme or personal touch. Ji also had very good ideas and added things that I didn't think of, which turned out so nice! On the day of the wedding, when we saw everything in person we were literally blown away! I couldn't get over how everything looked so good, and made everything else popped. I got a lot of compliments and inquires on Ji's work which I am happy to pass along! I seriously can't wait to plan more events where I can work with Ji again. Her work is just that amazing. She is truly a gem, don't sleep on her!

l proposals (only because I'm super particular) and I thought I was going to have a ton of feedback to give, but I didn't! All of her design proposals were exactly what I had envisioned! She made the entire process seamless and everything was executed perfectly, wouldn't change anything and can't recommend her enough!

Her artwork and calligraphy were truly beautiful. When one sign we were planning to have wasn't going to work out because the activity was cancelled, Ji was flexible in creating some dessert signs for us instead. We especially loved her drawings of our signature cocktails, and we were able to keep one of these for our future bar in our future home! We also wanted to gift our unplugged ceremony sign to our photographers, and this wasn't a problem. Her pricing is fair, her responsiveness is quick, and she is a pleasure to work with. We feel so lucky we came across her Instagram page and ended up working with her! We recommend her without reservation and encourage you to book her!

Her illustration and calligraphy skills are superb and cohesive; our wedding planner said they were the prettiest signs she’d ever seen. Ji also showed great patience while I struggled to pick a font color for our menus and ended up custom mixing the ink to create a perfect color. I highly recommend her services!

She works with you to bring your style and personality to the design and not some cookie-cutter template. Everything is personalized and handmade. From the invitations, to the timeline of the whole day event, signage, name cards, menus and hand etched initial tumblers for favors – everything was so beautiful and cohesive, really made my event stand out. She even helped set everything up on the day of the event and it all turned out so pretty! I love all her work and can’t wait to work on a future project together again!

ble work at a very reasonable price! There is something SO special about having something designed just for you and I promise you that Ji does exactly that. If you look at her work (check out her Instagram!), it's immediately clear that she does not duplicate designs and that each one is designed with special details about the couple in mind. For us, she did custom illustration of us drinking boba wearing Cal beast mode shirts, custom monogram + invite suite, custom cornhole illustration, custom acrylic sign, and more! I also appreciated that she did not try to push any buy-ups on us, like: more expensive print materials, foiling, envelope liners, and more. She can definitely do all those things, but we didn't want to spend extra on the invitations so she didn't push it. In addition to her exceptional designs, we also appreciated these things: - Accommodating different languages: we needed to have guest names and salutations printed in Chinese and English, which she was able to do easily. She can also handwrite things in Chinese and Korean if you’re looking for calligraphy on your envelopes! - Unified theme across signage and invitation suite: Ji's designs helped bring everything together between the different locations at our venue without being cheesy with excessive signs and goods. Example: our welcome sign colors were painted acrylic, which matched the colors of our invitation suite. The same color scheme was used on the border of the table menus, which was minimalist but a nod to the theme. The guest name tags contained the wedding suite colors used as meal indicators for our catering company to serve our guests. She also painted a custom illustration on a cornhole set that had symbols that were relevant to us as a couple. It was really just brilliant and perfectly and effortlessly beautiful. - Creative practicality: we really appreciated Ji's ability to think outside of the box. We needed a way to hang signage on our escort display and threw out a bunch of crazy ideas before asking Ji. She suggested using strong neodymium magnets glued on the back of the signs to stick to the metal bookcase we were using. During moments like those, Brian and I were patting ourselves on the back for hiring Ji! - Excellent collection of rentals: you can rent mirrors and stands from Ji to letter on for a really reasonable price. I think most of the items like menu stands don’t require rentals at all. Really, really appreciated that because the wedding industry nickels and dimes you for EVERYTHING usually! You can ask for her rentals inventory to get an idea. Also wanted to mention a general learning: Give yourself a timeline buffer for everything in your wedding, including invites. Ji was really upfront about her design timelines but we tried to push for more aggressive dates and it wasn’t possible. We hired her knowing this and kept stressing ourselves out by secretly hoping that drafts would be magically early (spoiler alert, they were on time because that’s what she committed to). Good work takes time and if you can't wait for the timelines then you should go with another option. Anyway, we would absolutely hire Ji again and would 12/10 recommend her services!

ime to listen to our "vision", and was very accommodating to be able to tie in many of the design aesthetics/motifs into all of our signage pieces (custom wedding invitations, welcome sign, seating chart, table cards, reception menus, etc.). I first noticed Ji's services based off of all of the high reviews, but it was her body of work that truly sealed the deal for us; Ji's body of work absolutely reflects all of the happy clients, such as ourselves, and we cannot recommend her enough!
