ll happily accommodated my hair and makeup trial for my bridal shower in April. I was so impressed with Tatiana’s and Tara’s work then and knew that I was in great hands for my wedding. I had 6 people get their hair and makeup done. Jill sent three people which allowed us plenty of time to get ready and not to be rushed. Everyone looked fantastic. I highly recommend Jill and her team.

y bridal hair & makeup were perfect on the day off - exactly what I had envisioned (dewy look with subtle smoky eye, chignon type low bun). Jill did a fantastic job with my makeup, and Nino created exactly the hairstyle I wanted (even though I have very difficult/curly hair!). He also integrated my pearl/rhinestone hair piece perfectly. The team was very prompt and efficient on the day of -- none of the bridal party was left waiting around, and we were all ready with plenty of time before doing first look pictures. I felt like the pricing was fair as well. This made everything much less stressful. Highly recommend for any event!

Working with Jill from the initial scheduling to the trial and on the wedding day itself, could not have been better. I knew I loved my makeup when she did it but now that we’ve gotten our pictures back, I’m even happier. Her makeup is just flawless! ike everything was OK that is because I do not like confrontation so I suppose it is my fault but I do want to warn everyone from my personal experience. Let me start at the beginning the first time I made a trial appointment with her she did not even show up she forgot I drove all the way to her salon and she wasn’t even there at 6:30 am. Then she had me come another day and did not charge me which I was very happy with l, she did the right thing, and I loved the make up so I hired her. The day of my wedding she was late she could not find parking and had a hard time then she came in and when it came to my make up she completely didn’t do what we had talked about in the trial and what I wanted which really bothered me because I sent her a picture of my make up after she did it and she took copious notes so I don’t understand why she had such a hard time doing my make up when she had already done it once before. She told me she could handle all of the girls that she had to do make up for, she wasn’t able too efficiently and ran behind. because of her not being able to do that I was late with my photographer ended up running late and I barely made it to the church on time. I would also like to note that yes it is in her contract but along with her price she includes her own mandatory 20% tip, which is ridiculous. I just want everyone to know exactly the experience I had and you can be the judge on your own.

nd it was hard for me to schedule a trial with both a makeup and hair artist on the same day. I thankfully found Jill's services online and as soon as we started talking on the phone she asked me so many questions and was extremely friendly, but straight to the point. She made me feel so confident that she knew what she was doing. I did my trial with her and her husband Nino and they are a match made in heaven! It was so nice having a couple like that work together to make me look my best on my big day. The day of they showed up right on time and they were fantastic the whole way through. They made my bridal party and I look stunning. Jill paid attention to what I wanted and made sure I kept the natural look I was going for. Nino is by far the best hair stylist I've ever had. They are both so into making you feel beautiful on your special day and I'm so happy I found them for mine. Book with them asap!! Thank you so much JKflashy!!

ve all, knew how to keep an anxious bride and her bridal party relaxed and comfortable! I have very curly hair naturally and I have always struggled (and others have always struggled) with styling it, BUT I did want to keep it naturally curly for the big day. Tara did an amazing job taming my hair and manifesting perfectly what I envisioned! We had all the elements the day of our wedding from family coming late for services to torrential downpours and rain and Jill and her team were so flexible sorting everything out and keeping me calm. They did such an awesome job that my makeup and hair held up throughout the entire day and night despite being outdoors taking photos for several hours in the rain and humidity! I could not recommend them more!!

as. She was always super nice but direct and down to the point. I have very uneven skin and a lot of blemishes - to boot my wedding was about 90 degrees and outdoors but Jill's make up did.not.budge. I had 9 bridesmaids and they ranged in their daily makeup use from "what is mascara?" to full daily glam and each one was thrilled with Jill's individualistic approach. Oh and her husband Niko who did hair was not only extremely good but also hysterical. He had us all smiling and laughing all morning long which is key for wedding day nerves. and we reviewed all the details of my wedding and what I envisioned my make up and hair to be like for the day of. She was driving and had so many wonderful ideas for a trial. She suggested a few things and asked me to e-mail her all the details so that she could set up a trial for me in the coming weeks. I sent her an e-mail with pictures of my current hair type, length, and the desired style. After a few emails I was so excited to have a trial scheduled! Jill scheduled me with Tara over in CT which was a bit far from me, 95 minute drive. I was more than happy to make the trip to have a trial done by Tara who Jill told me had years of experience. The week of the trial came up quickly and I found myself without anything in writing. I had done other trials before and they usually required a deposit and signed contract. So I emailed Jill to see how to prepare for the trial. No response. I tried again the day before the trial, emailing and calling Jill. She e-mailed me at 11 PM stating she tried to call me multiple times (she then later disclosed that she had the wrong telephone number/did not have my #). I responded right away and asked how to prepare for the trial (types of payment accepted, how should I have my hair, face, etc). She responded to my email and said she'd call me in the morning at 10AM or earlier. I said okay. The next morning and day of the trial, I tried calling Jill at 9:30 am, 10am, 11AM, and emailed in between. After getting no response (Jill withheld Tara's information so I could not even reach out to her directly about my trial with her) I began to drive so that I did not miss my trial. After about an hour of driving (and paying the tolls to go over the bridge) I get a call from Jill--this is about an hour before the trial. She says she saw all my missed calls and wanted to answer any questions for the trial. I explained that I have curly hair (as shown in the pictures in my first email) and wanted a sleek chignon done. She said she'd call me back after calling Tara. I found this back and forth so strange. She calls me back after speaking with Tara and says that there isn't enough time to work with my curly hair. She'd have to blow it out and that has to be done the day before. She asked if I could just come and do makeup. ...Now after taking the time off of work, driving quite a distance, and seeing that JKFlashy did not properly prepare enough time for a bridal trial I was displeased to say the least. I canceled the trial completely. Tried to reschedule and work with them. It got increasingly harder and Jill was very eager to schedule but not eager to give the details of the person who would actually be doing my hair and make up. She hesitated to give price quotes and was not forthcoming with any information. Stay away from this company at all costs. I sent Jill a very long email with my concerns and why I was unhappy and instead of replying to it, she started a new thread asking me to book a trial with her and her team.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she was always available to answer questions. She was even able to set up a hair and make-up trial for me on very short notice. On the day of my wedding, I decided to make some adjustments to both the hair and make-up I had gotten during my trial. Jill and Nino adjusted their plan immediately and delivered EXACTLY what I had pictured. Their attention to detail was phenomenal. I don't wear makeup often so I wanted to look as natural as possible. She worked her magic & I was extremely satisfied with the results. My ceremony was at 5pm & it was super hot out & rainy that day, but my makeup held up with no need for touch ups.
