I highly recommend working with Jen! Not only did she help me create a beautiful and natural makeup look for my wedding day, but she also was there for me throughout the entire process. The skincare evaluation and makeup trial allowed me to be fully ready for my wedding beauty routine. On wedding day, she steamed my wedding dress, adjusted my dress during first look and family photos, and even took care of a bug bite I got before the ceremony! She constantly was making sure I was looking and feeling my best on the wedding day.

Jen is absolutely fantastic! She executed my wish of a simple and clean makeup look so well, and it stayed on the rest of the day and night so I didn't have to worry about touching up. And if I did want to make a few touch ups, she very kindly gave me a kit to do so. She is not only an expert makeup artist, but also someone who is there to help you through the nerves of your big day and make sure you look perfect in your wedding photos. When my wedding dress got a little dirty before the ceremony, she helped clean it and then carry it during the rest of the photos so that it would stay clean. I highly recommend Jen as she will make your natural beauty stand out so well in both photos and in-person!

Hiring a makeup artist was the one thing that worried me about planning the wedding. Would I make the right choice? Would I look like me...but better? The second I met Jen, I knew I was in the best hands possible. I had a trial with another artist that didn't go well, and Jen was reassuring and we talked through what I liked and didn't like. On my wedding day, she was a dream. She took amazing care of my mother and mother in law, both of whom had never had their makeup done. She was calm and re-assuring and took her time with each of us. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on that day. I looked like me...but better. I also used Jen's concierge service as well. I highly recommend. She was there with a straw when I needed water before going down the aisle, and quick with touch ups during all the photos. Knowing she was there if I needed her was so reassuring. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of J. Kinford Beauty Group. Jen did my makeup for my wedding, and Dina did my hair. Jen was such a dream to work with at my trial, during the planning process and the day of the wedding. I have never loved my hair and makeup as much as that day! Even more than their skill and expertise, their entire crew made getting ready stress-free and fun.

Jen is so wonderful! She worked with me on a skincare focused/minimal makeup approach for my wedding day. Everything was flawless--my makeup held all night (despite loads of rain and dancing). Jen was recommended to me by my photographer who knew how well the make up would hold up throughout the day and how perfectly it photographed - I felt and looked flawless. Working with Jen was wonderful. From finding a day for my trial hair & make up to her arriving to my mom’s house early, and getting my bridal party (me, 8 bridesmaids, my mom, and mother in law) ready AHEAD of schedule. We all looked amazing and we’re provided touch up lip gloss. Jen was a wonderful contribution to our morning of getting ready, her professionalism and conversation kept me at ease. I first met Jen in 2019 when I received her make up services for my sister’s wedding. Once I began planning my own wedding 3 years later, I didn’t think twice about hiring her. Jen is truly the best. After my hair/make up trial I wanted to make a few changes (specifically to my eye make up) and on the day of she was so accommodating. She really listened to my vision and made sure I felt my best on my big day. My bridesmaids also loved their hair and make up! Jen and her team are reliable, professional, fun, and incredibly talented. I cannot recommend them enough!

Jen is amazing, she is professional, fun, helpful and really cares about making your wedding day special! She takes the time and energy to make sure to give you the look you are asking for, she even had everything for a latex allergy and exceptionally organized and goes above and beyond normal precautions with cleanliness and sanitizing!!

I can NOT stress this enough- HIRE JEN!! Her fee is well worth every penny. She was absolutely incredible the entire day of the wedding. Jen did it all. The makeup, the prep for photos, retouches for the entire bridal party… if someone needed help, you name it she jumped in. Boob Tape?! She’s prepared with alcohol to prep your skin and set the tape. To-go kits for your makeup- provided after your initial makeup is done and she has it all organized for you in the bridal suite. She helped set up the bride as she had her photos taken. All. Of. It. A consummate professional and just the sweetest soul, we loved having Jen with us the entire day. I wish I could have her every day of my life 😂 can’t recommend her enough, really just so amazing!

We had an incredible experience with Jen and everyone at J. Kinford Beauty Group! They understood what I wanted with a less-glam look, and really listened to me. They were also very affirming for an LGBTQ+ and trans wedding, and made everyone in our wedding parties feel safe, affirmed, and beautiful!

Jen went above and beyond from the second I booked her for my wedding this June. She was prompt with responding to emails and always conducted herself professionally. The day of the wedding came and we had such a fun day. She went above and beyond the entire day. Anything we asked of her she helped and did (even her willingness to take on non makeup needs - which made the day go super smooth). I hired Jen for hair & makeup for my NYE wedding - it was the best decision! I am always the nervous person whenever I get my makeup done but when my mom & I came in for our trial she understood exactly what I was looking for. We also had so much fun with Jen and Jenny! I hired Jen & her team to do hair and makeup for my wedding party and self. As someone who wears little makeup I was totally confident and at ease with how Jen explained the process. Her expertise and attention to detail from my trial to my actual wedding was amazing. She was a great communicator about products to use before to make sure my skin was un prime condition and sent a detailed schedule the week before. She was even flexible when we had to tweak the plan and add more people to the schedule. My hair and makeup lasted all day long well into me dancing all night. She sent along a touch up kit for me as well. Dina, part of Jens team, made my low bun exactly how I envisioned and allowed me to make some last minute changes with hair clips. I highly recommend Jen & her team for any event you want to look & feel special for!

Jen and her team are amazing! I recommend them highly! They were extremely professional and thought through everything. Jen called ahead to the hotel to have bar stools sent up to our room and knew just how to set everything up. There was a ton of traffic on my wedding day that resulted in a couple of my bridesmaids arriving late but Jen reassured me we had plenty of time. All 8 women’s hair and makeup was completely on schedule and looked amazing! My makeup and hair held up through lots of dancing! I love how I look in my pictures and couldn’t be happier! I hired Jen Kinford and her team for my 2022 wedding and they are HANDS DOWN the best hair & makeup artists that I have ever experienced. (This is coming from someone who has been a bridesmaid in 8 weddings in the past two years, I've met a lot of teams!) Jen is a MASTER and I love her approach to enhancing and embracing your natural beauty. My skin never looked so flawless, and she is an eyelash wizard. Jasmine also did makeup for the bridesmaids and everyone loved her work. Gabby did our hair and championed 8 girls in a few short hours. Everyone was extremely happy with their hair, she is able to do perfect curls, updos, beachy waves, you name it. These guys are the best in the business.

Jen was the absolute best! From a stress free trial to nailing the same look day of, her calming and fun energy, and her seamless process, everything was amazing. I think my best compliment would be I didn’t need to use my touch up kit once throughout the night - the makeup and hair held up for over 10 hours and a lot of sweat and dancing!!

I hired J. Kinford Beauty for my April 2022 wedding and would highly recommend them for future brides. Jen and her team are super responsive, and I really appreciated having a skin consultation 6 months prior to my wedding; she put in a lot of work and effort in sending me a list of skincare products and a routine to follow leading up to the big day. For makeup, I wanted a natural but glamourous look for my wedding day and thought that she really delivered. I worked with Jenny on my hair and she was able to take a few inspo images I gave and turn it into a great hairstyle for the day of. The morning of my wedding, they came a half an hour early to prepare and stuck perfectly to the timeline. They made the morning relaxing and easy, and I know my bridesmaids and mob/mog loved their looks too. I'm so pleased to have met and worked with Jen and Jenny and hope future brides get the same pleasure!

Jen and Jenny were extraordinary! They're both so thoughtful and compassionate when doing my wedding party's hair and makeup. Jen consistently asked every member if they felt comfortable with her next steps (ie. filling in brows, false lashes, etc). Jenny took extra time to set and touch up my hair considering its difficult to curl. They both made the getting ready time fun, relaxing, and memorable. As someone who normally doesn't wear makeup, they worked with me to create a naturally flawless look that simply enhanced my natural features. They're also experienced with working on people with all different skin /hair textures & colors. Can't recommend them enough!

Jen and her team were INCREDIBLE to work with! I loved her overall approach to embracing natural beauty, and greatly appreciated how light and airy her makeup made me feel during my wedding! She was very accommodating during our date postponement process due to Covid-19, and made a stressful time more manageable. Her team was very kind to everyone, and they finished hair/makeup EARLY on our wedding day (8 bridesmaids, myself, 2 moms, 1 grandma) - she mentioned this is always their goal during my trial, which is a HUGE relief for someone worried about their day-of timeline! Would highly recommend working with this team - they are professional, fair priced, very reliable and personable.

Jen and her team are absolutely amazing at what they do! I originally met Jen when she was hired for my best friend's wedding in 2018. As someone who does not wear heavy makeup often, I loved Jen's natural style. She was my first choice for my wedding in 2020 of course! When COVID happened, Jen was incredibly understanding and helpful as we navigated how to push our wedding. She happily allowed us to push our contract a full year, with no hassle or upcharge. When it came time for our big day in 2021, I was so grateful for my choice. My makeup was stunning, but she was also able to adjust the style and preferences for each of my bridesmaid (some of whom regularly wear heavier makeup). I also have to shout-out Gabby, our hairstylist for the day. She worked with several hair lengths and textures, including my mother who has short and very thin hair after having brain surgery, and my friend who has naturally thick curly hair. She listened to what everyone wanted, and worked with their hair texture to make them feel absolutely beautiful. (My curly-haired friend raved so much and said she wished she has hired Jen and Gabby for her own wedding!) Gabby then stayed to help me fit my veil and graciously stood in while my videographer wanted 'action' shots of me getting ready. It was a seamless and stress-free morning, and I could not recommend both women more highly.

As someone who almost never wears makeup, I had never had my makeup professionally done in a way that still felt like me -- until Jen! I chose her based on her reputation for natural, beautiful makeup and she completely delivered! From my trial to my welcome party look to my wedding day makeup, I felt beautiful and like myself every time. Gabby did my hair for both events as well, and guided me perfectly to two different looks that I absolutely loved! They were both a complete joy to be around, and I felt totally comfortable with them. My bridesmaids, mother, and mother in law were all thrilled with their hair and makeup as well. 5-star experience for sure! Jen is a prompt communicator and so passionate, and her team is just amazing. Dina (hair) and Jasmine (make-up) are incredibly talented and wonderful to work with. We had so much fun in the bridal suite getting ready. They perfectly executed everyone's vision and made us all feel so beautiful. Wish they could pamper us every day!

Jenn is honestly amazing. I went into my trial asking for a very specific thing (which she nailed) only to change my mind and ask her to do something completely different on the day of the wedding. Luckily, she nailed it again. She did such an amazing job. I felt so beautiful, but still myself. No caked on, overly made-up look, but still glamorous. She's also very calming and brings a great energy to the day. All my bridesmaids and my mother also LOVED their makeup.

J. Kinford Beauty Group is absolutely incredible! From the initial call, to consultations during our 2 year engagement, hair and makeup trials and then the wedding, they deserve nothing but praise! Jennifer is warm, caring, knowledgeable and assisted us with every request. We had two brides (a total of 15 hair and 8 for makeup) so a full team of artists! For makeup we had Amanda G and Jasmine, and for hair we had Jenny, Gabby and Corrisa. On the big day, everyone looked truly stunning!! We had a hiccup on our end, and had to add an additional person for hair and makeup last minute and they immediately accommodated us without questions. The ladies brought awesome energy into the bridal suites and it truly felt like they were part of the group. We also opted to have one hair and one makeup person stay with us during our first look and through cocktail hour and it was soooo worth it. They did key touch ups and kept us and our bridesmaids looking fresh until we made our big entrance for reception! Everyone was so professional but so much fun. I can’t recommend them enough and we really hope to work with them again in the future. Thank you Kinford and team!!!!!

Jen and her team are simply phenomenal. They are super friendly and accommodating. Jen and her team are ver professional and friendly. I don't normally wear makeup so I was nervous about how it would turn out but she was amazing. Everything looked natural and it didn't feel like it was "caked" on. Also her hair stylist is super talented as well. HIGHLY recommend!

The J.Kinford Beauty Group was outstanding to work with. I had an unusual re-wedding, I DO PART TWO, to the same husband. After 25 years of marriage, I had 4 original bridesmaids, and 4 new ones, including my teen age daughter. We had a bridal party with parents from age 14-78. When I told Jen that we ALL just wanted to look pretty, but nothing over the top..she HEARD me, and delivered. She assembled a team of 4 make-up artists, and 4 hairdressers. She devised a schedule starting at the crack of dawn, for a 3pm wedding. I balked. She reminded me that each person took "X" amount of time, and showed me how to work backwards from 3pm. ("ready to get into dress at 1pm, pictures at 1:30, church at 2:15, etc") This spreadsheet she produced was specific. Jen HEARD me, and suggested that maybe some clients would require less time than others, and recommended an order in which to put all of these people. The end product was exactly what we ALL were looking for. (I wish I could attach a photo). Her team made us feel pretty and look natural. I would recommend her and the team for the expertise and beautiful end result, but also the business and scheduling side that went along with it. It was an unforgettable day, and I am so grateful for Jen and the team. (Also the eyelashes she suggested! They were perfect.)

Jen is hands down everything you could ask for in a wedding makeup artist - she is extremely talented in her work and actually cares about her clients.
