I will never look more beautiful than I did on my wedding day! Jen was recommended to me by my photographer who knew how well the make up would hold up throughout the day and how perfectly it photographed - I felt and looked flawless. Working with Jen was wonderful. From finding a day for my trial hair & make up to her arriving to my mom’s house early, and getting my bridal party (me, 8 bridesmaids, my mom, and mother in law) ready AHEAD of schedule. We all looked amazing and we’re provided touch up lip gloss. Jen was a wonderful contribution to our morning of getting ready, her professionalism and conversation kept me at ease. I look forward to any opportunity to work with her again!

I first met Jen in 2019 when I received her make up services for my sister’s wedding. Once I began planning my own wedding 3 years later, I didn’t think twice about hiring her. Jen is truly the best. After my hair/make up trial I wanted to make a few changes (specifically to my eye make up) and on the day of she was so accommodating. She really listened to my vision and made sure I felt my best on my big day. My bridesmaids also loved their hair and make up! Jen and her team are reliable, professional, fun, and incredibly talented. I cannot recommend them enough!

Jen is amazing, she is professional, fun, helpful and really cares about making your wedding day special! She takes the time and energy to make sure to give you the look you are asking for, she even had everything for a latex allergy and exceptionally organized and goes above and beyond normal precautions with cleanliness and sanitizing!!

I can NOT stress this enough- HIRE JEN!! Her fee is well worth every penny. She was absolutely incredible the entire day of the wedding. Jen did it all. The makeup, the prep for photos, retouches for the entire bridal party… if someone needed help, you name it she jumped in. Boob Tape?! She’s prepared with alcohol to prep your skin and set the tape. To-go kits for your makeup- provided after your initial makeup is done and she has it all organized for you in the bridal suite. She helped set up the bride as she had her photos taken. All. Of. It. A consummate professional and just the sweetest soul, we loved having Jen with us the entire day. I wish I could have her every day of my life 😂 can’t recommend her enough, really just so amazing!

Jen went above and beyond from the second I booked her for my wedding this June. She was prompt with responding to emails and always conducted herself professionally. The day of the wedding came and we had such a fun day. She went above and beyond the entire day. Anything we asked of her she helped and did (even her willingness to take on non makeup needs - which made the day go super smooth). Everyone’s makeup was flawless and felt very confident on my special day. Can’t wait to use her in the future.

Jen did the makeup for myself as well as a few family members for a 2 day wedding celebration and we all could not have been more thrilled with working with her! I came in to the process knowing I wanted to still look as much like myself as possible and she honored that. She gave great recommendations, responded to my feedback during our trial. Then during the wedding weekend itself she was calm, cool and such a joy to be around. She prioritized every family member and their individual needs, all while remaining on the tight wedding timeline. I hired Jen for hair & makeup for my NYE wedding - it was the best decision! I am always the nervous person whenever I get my makeup done but when my mom & I came in for our trial she understood exactly what I was looking for. We also had so much fun with Jen and Jenny! She did a very natural look - exactly what I was looking for where I felt just like myself! The day of the wedding I decided to do a hair change from my trial and Jenny did my sleek low bun perfectly. My bridal party could also not stop saying how calm, smooth, organized and fun the team was while getting ready. I hired Jen & her team to do hair and makeup for my wedding party and self. As someone who wears little makeup I was totally confident and at ease with how Jen explained the process. Her expertise and attention to detail from my trial to my actual wedding was amazing. She was a great communicator about products to use before to make sure my skin was un prime condition and sent a detailed schedule the week before. She was even flexible when we had to tweak the plan and add more people to the schedule. My hair and makeup lasted all day long well into me dancing all night. She sent along a touch up kit for me as well. Dina, part of Jens team, made my low bun exactly how I envisioned and allowed me to make some last minute changes with hair clips. I highly recommend Jen & her team for any event you want to look & feel special for!

Jen and her team are amazing! I recommend them highly! They were extremely professional and thought through everything. Jen called ahead to the hotel to have bar stools sent up to our room and knew just how to set everything up. There was a ton of traffic on my wedding day that resulted in a couple of my bridesmaids arriving late but Jen reassured me we had plenty of time. All 8 women’s hair and makeup was completely on schedule and looked amazing! My makeup and hair held up through lots of dancing! I love how I look in my pictures and couldn’t be happier! I also really appreciated working with a team that share my values and were fun people to chat with while getting ready. Thank you Jen and team!!!

I hired Jen Kinford and her team for my 2022 wedding and they are HANDS DOWN the best hair & makeup artists that I have ever experienced. (This is coming from someone who has been a bridesmaid in 8 weddings in the past two years, I've met a lot of teams!) Jen is a MASTER and I love her approach to enhancing and embracing your natural beauty. My skin never looked so flawless, and she is an eyelash wizard. Jasmine also did makeup for the bridesmaids and everyone loved her work. Gabby did our hair and championed 8 girls in a few short hours. Everyone was extremely happy with their hair, she is able to do perfect curls, updos, beachy waves, you name it. These guys are the best in the business.

Jen was the absolute best! From a stress free trial to nailing the same look day of, her calming and fun energy, and her seamless process, everything was amazing. I think my best compliment would be I didn’t need to use my touch up kit once throughout the night - the makeup and hair held up for over 10 hours and a lot of sweat and dancing!!

I hired J. Kinford Beauty for my April 2022 wedding and would highly recommend them for future brides. Jen and her team are super responsive, and I really appreciated having a skin consultation 6 months prior to my wedding; she put in a lot of work and effort in sending me a list of skincare products and a routine to follow leading up to the big day. For makeup, I wanted a natural but glamourous look for my wedding day and thought that she really delivered. I worked with Jenny on my hair and she was able to take a few inspo images I gave and turn it into a great hairstyle for the day of. The morning of my wedding, they came a half an hour early to prepare and stuck perfectly to the timeline. They made the morning relaxing and easy, and I know my bridesmaids and mob/mog loved their looks too. I'm so pleased to have met and worked with Jen and Jenny and hope future brides get the same pleasure!

Jen and Jenny were extraordinary! They're both so thoughtful and compassionate when doing my wedding party's hair and makeup. Jen consistently asked every member if they felt comfortable with her next steps (ie. filling in brows, false lashes, etc). Jenny took extra time to set and touch up my hair considering its difficult to curl. They both made the getting ready time fun, relaxing, and memorable. As someone who normally doesn't wear makeup, they worked with me to create a naturally flawless look that simply enhanced my natural features. They're also experienced with working on people with all different skin /hair textures & colors. Can't recommend them enough!

Jen and her team were INCREDIBLE to work with! I loved her overall approach to embracing natural beauty, and greatly appreciated how light and airy her makeup made me feel during my wedding! She was very accommodating during our date postponement process due to Covid-19, and made a stressful time more manageable. Her team was very kind to everyone, and they finished hair/makeup EARLY on our wedding day (8 bridesmaids, myself, 2 moms, 1 grandma) - she mentioned this is always their goal during my trial, which is a HUGE relief for someone worried about their day-of timeline! Would highly recommend working with this team - they are professional, fair priced, very reliable and personable.

Jen and her team are absolutely amazing at what they do! I originally met Jen when she was hired for my best friend's wedding in 2018. As someone who does not wear heavy makeup often, I loved Jen's natural style. She was my first choice for my wedding in 2020 of course! When COVID happened, Jen was incredibly understanding and helpful as we navigated how to push our wedding. She happily allowed us to push our contract a full year, with no hassle or upcharge. When it came time for our big day in 2021, I was so grateful for my choice. My makeup was stunning, but she was also able to adjust the style and preferences for each of my bridesmaid (some of whom regularly wear heavier makeup). I also have to shout-out Gabby, our hairstylist for the day. She worked with several hair lengths and textures, including my mother who has short and very thin hair after having brain surgery, and my friend who has naturally thick curly hair. She listened to what everyone wanted, and worked with their hair texture to make them feel absolutely beautiful. (My curly-haired friend raved so much and said she wished she has hired Jen and Gabby for her own wedding!) Gabby then stayed to help me fit my veil and graciously stood in while my videographer wanted 'action' shots of me getting ready. It was a seamless and stress-free morning, and I could not recommend both women more highly.

As someone who almost never wears makeup, I had never had my makeup professionally done in a way that still felt like me -- until Jen! I chose her based on her reputation for natural, beautiful makeup and she completely delivered! From my trial to my welcome party look to my wedding day makeup, I felt beautiful and like myself every time. Gabby did my hair for both events as well, and guided me perfectly to two different looks that I absolutely loved! They were both a complete joy to be around, and I felt totally comfortable with them. My bridesmaids, mother, and mother in law were all thrilled with their hair and makeup as well. 5-star experience for sure! Jen is a prompt communicator and so passionate, and her team is just amazing. Dina (hair) and Jasmine (make-up) are incredibly talented and wonderful to work with. We had so much fun in the bridal suite getting ready. They perfectly executed everyone's vision and made us all feel so beautiful. Wish they could pamper us every day!

Jenn is honestly amazing. I went into my trial asking for a very specific thing (which she nailed) only to change my mind and ask her to do something completely different on the day of the wedding. Luckily, she nailed it again. She did such an amazing job. I felt so beautiful, but still myself. No caked on, overly made-up look, but still glamorous. She's also very calming and brings a great energy to the day. All my bridesmaids and my mother also LOVED their makeup.

J. Kinford Beauty Group is absolutely incredible! From the initial call, to consultations during our 2 year engagement, hair and makeup trials and then the wedding, they deserve nothing but praise! Jennifer is warm, caring, knowledgeable and assisted us with every request. We had two brides (a total of 15 hair and 8 for makeup) so a full team of artists! For makeup we had Amanda G and Jasmine, and for hair we had Jenny, Gabby and Corrisa. On the big day, everyone looked truly stunning!! We had a hiccup on our end, and had to add an additional person for hair and makeup last minute and they immediately accommodated us without questions. The ladies brought awesome energy into the bridal suites and it truly felt like they were part of the group. We also opted to have one hair and one makeup person stay with us during our first look and through cocktail hour and it was soooo worth it. They did key touch ups and kept us and our bridesmaids looking fresh until we made our big entrance for reception! Everyone was so professional but so much fun. I can’t recommend them enough and we really hope to work with them again in the future. Thank you Kinford and team!!!!!

Jen and her team are simply phenomenal. They are super friendly and accommodating. Jen and her team are ver professional and friendly. I don't normally wear makeup so I was nervous about how it would turn out but she was amazing. Everything looked natural and it didn't feel like it was "caked" on. Also her hair stylist is super talented as well. HIGHLY recommend!

The J.Kinford Beauty Group was outstanding to work with. I had an unusual re-wedding, I DO PART TWO, to the same husband. After 25 years of marriage, I had 4 original bridesmaids, and 4 new ones, including my teen age daughter. We had a bridal party with parents from age 14-78. When I told Jen that we ALL just wanted to look pretty, but nothing over the top..she HEARD me, and delivered. She assembled a team of 4 make-up artists, and 4 hairdressers. She devised a schedule starting at the crack of dawn, for a 3pm wedding. I balked. She reminded me that each person took "X" amount of time, and showed me how to work backwards from 3pm. ("ready to get into dress at 1pm, pictures at 1:30, church at 2:15, etc") This spreadsheet she produced was specific. Jen HEARD me, and suggested that maybe some clients would require less time than others, and recommended an order in which to put all of these people. The end product was exactly what we ALL were looking for. (I wish I could attach a photo). Her team made us feel pretty and look natural. I would recommend her and the team for the expertise and beautiful end result, but also the business and scheduling side that went along with it. It was an unforgettable day, and I am so grateful for Jen and the team. (Also the eyelashes she suggested! They were perfect.)

Jen is hands down everything you could ask for in a wedding makeup artist - she is extremely talented in her work and actually cares about her clients. I truly could not think of a better way to kick off the most important day of my life than to have Jen there with me helping me get ready! I wish I could have my makeup done by her every day.

I can’t properly express how wonderful it was to work with Jen and Jenny. Everything about the process was easy, from booking to postponing to trial to finally the big day. I have never felt more beautiful than on the day of the wedding and it’s thanks to them! I showed them a few inspiration photos from Instagram and they were able to nail it. They didn’t just help me. Every woman in my party, from my picky sister to my 95 year old grandma raved about how wonderful they looked. I even had a bridesmaid change the look she had picked for her own wedding to look more like she did at mine. We had Jen stay on until the rehearsal and it was absolutely worth it. She got a footprint stain off my dress, was there to reapply lipstick and blot shine before photos. The icing on the cake? She quite literally sewed a bridesmaid into her dress before the ceremony. Jen came highly recommended by a local esthetician and was a pleasure to work with. My wedding was originally in 2020 and was postponed due to the pandemic. Jen was extremely kind and flexible with the challenges encountered. We had a few changes of the team that would be with me on my wedding day, but she reassured me that they'd be amazing - and they were! Brett and Corrisa were so kind and organized. The day went so smoothly and was stress-free thanks to them. Everything for our hair and makeup was exactly as I had hoped - hairstyles were natural and our makeup was just as natural achieving the no-makeup-makeup look I wanted. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married. They were wonderful to work with!

Before I came in for my hair and makeup trial, Jen got on FaceTime with me and analyzed my skin in order to prepare a skin care routine with recommended products that would meet my needs in preparation for my wedding day. During my hair and makeup trial she put together the exact look I was looking for even when I couldn’t articulate what I wanted. I really got to know Jen and Jennie during the trial, and learned that not only were they exceptionally talented artists but great people as well. They were so easy to talk to and I really bonded with them. On my wedding day I was so excited to see them, and they did amazing work once again. Their team got me, my 7 bridesmaids, Mom, Mother-in-Law, and brother looking our very best in a calm and orderly fashion. I loved her from the moment I sat in her chair, and became more and more impressed with her as the day went on (and immediately booked her for my own wedding)! The bride had taken some first look photos on wet grass, and her train was speckled with many tiny mud spots. Jennifer, unbelievably prepared and proactive, had brought a couple different stain removers and ran over to the bride between photos and literally went on her hands and knees (!!!) to spray and scrub stain removers into each tiny spot on the bride's train. I was absolutely wowed by her ingenuity and her commitment to make that day the best day ever for the bride. Btw, it worked - the bride's dress was flawless by the ceremony.    For my wedding, I wanted a naturally gorgeous look for my face. Jennifer DELIVERED - she made my face the most beautiful I have ever seen it, absolutely the best best best my face has ever looked. I have gotten my makeup done by professional artists many other times in my life, and Jennifer's work was much better than any I have seen before. Jennifer is also very professional, with extremely high cleanliness standards that made me feel very safe in her chair.   And Jennifer is far beyond just being an incredibly talented makeup artist. She is unbelievably fun to talk to, and is extraordinarily compassionate and thoughtful. I was feeling a little overwhelmed in the hours before my ceremony, and Jennifer was where I felt secure. She knew exactly what I needed, which was her words, her steady and loving presence, and even sometimes her meditation music. She is thoughtful and proactive - a GREAT combination for someone helping a bride on her wedding day. During hectic family photos, I looked to Jennifer to calm me down. Literally, I looked right at her, and it made me feel better amidst the chaos of my large, loud family. Just by being Jennifer, she made me feel so much happiness, love, and security. When I was walking outside between photos, she noticed I was cold and a little shivery, and she gave me her warm shawl and played calming music on her phone for me. It was just the two of us walking together, and in that moment there is no one else who would have done those two things which were exactly what I needed. Jen and her team were such a joy to work with for my wedding last fall. She was so conscientious about working within the covid restrictions in place to make sure that everyone felt safe while still enjoying the experience. My make up and hair were exactly the soft, natural look that I was going for, and I know my bridesmaids loved theirs too. She was right on schedule on the day of, and made the whole morning feel calm and easy leading up to our ceremony. It was the perfect way to set the tone for the day! I would 100% recommend Jen to other brides!

When covid derailed our original wedding plans and I was unable to have Jen actually do my makeup, she went above and beyond to make sure I was wedding ready! Jen sent me a list of makeup I needed with all the links and spent over an hour with me on zoom going over how to apply the makeup! She was an absolute life saver. She answered any questions I had over text and continued to check in with me to make sure I was comfortable enough doing my own wedding makeup. I'm so thankful for her! And I have to add - the trial I did with her pre-pandemic was PERFECT! She achieved exactly what I was going for, she made me look like myself - just polished and very natural.

Jennifer, Jenny, and the crew that make up J.Kinford Beauty are exceptional. They listen, work with you through open communication and patience, and are really an organized force that is absolutely needed on your wedding day. They brought in chairs, lights, and ran things in such a professional manner on the day of my wedding- the bonus is that they are really fun and sweet! Best of all, they delivered what I wanted - natural and elevated classic beauty, while still looking like myself. Jennifer did my makeup, Jenny did my hair, and there was a crew for our Moms and bridesmaids. I truly enjoyed my makeup and hair trial, but wasn't sure what I wanted, and had trouble communicating a look since this was my first time around at the whole "getting married thing". They did exactly what I communicated in my first trial, and I left looking great, but wasn't sure that's what I wanted for the day of. I came in for a second trial, spoke more openly trying to learn ideas from them, and came out of it much closer to what I wanted. However, I wanted to add a few things/tweak a few things naturally for the day of. It's very nerve-wracking when you aren't used to having your hair and makeup done and have to choose how you want it for the biggest day of your life- Jennifer totally understood! Jennifer was extremely accommodating, and I sent back and forth ideas in photos before my wedding day. After some more communication regarding my hair ideas, I got the result I was looking for on the big day, and really felt like myself! Jenny did a beautifully intricate half up-half down look with a braid on one side, twist on the other, and a lower chignon (I have a lot of hair!!) Jennifer also nailed my makeup - it's like she knew what I kept trying to articulate but couldn't put into words. While getting ready, Jennifer was a complete calming force for me, and I honestly miss chatting with her now that this is all over! The best testament to their talent is how on a day with 25mph winds on the water, my hair and makeup were about the only things un-moving during photos! I got so many lovely compliments on how gorgeous their work was, and even though I danced the night away, my hair miraculously stayed put until the end! I absolutely LOVED working with Jennifer and her team! She had come highly recommended from my co-worker and from our first phone call I knew she was who I wanted for my make- up. First, I was so impressed from my preview to the wedding day and how detailed Jennifer was in providing her services. She and her whole team are incredibly organized. During my preview I was blown away, but at my wedding day, I had never felt more beautiful in my life. Her work was beyond what I ever could have dreamed of. Even my bridesmaids who also had their makeup done commented that despite being in many other weddings, they never liked their makeup or looks until this wedding. Everyone was in love with the makeup and hair. Second, I just love Jennifer. Her personality is as warm and fiery and her passion for her business and it shows in the best way! Any nerves I had before stepping into my dress were relieved with laughter and just positive energy that made the whole day brighter. I'm so grateful for this--a total stress free getting ready experience that ended with jaws dropping (yes my now-husband did cry when I walked down the aisle and isn't that what we're all really looking for?) Third, I was shocked at how well my tattoo cover-up went! I have a large black and grey rose tattoo on my shoulder that needed to be covered up in my strapless wedding dress. Jennifer made the entire process -initial phone call, contract and info, consult, planning wedding day, wedding day hair and makeup - a breeze! The hair and makeup my bridesmaids had done was the BEST hair and makeup I have seen in a wedding. My sisters and girlfriends looked stunning! As the bride, I wanted to look like myself, but elevated and that was accomplished. My hair and makeup was better then I could have pictured! I felt so beautiful.

So happy I had Jennifer do my make-up for my wedding!! She made me feel and look absolutely beautiful and glamorous but also kept everything very natural looking, which was what I was most worried about since I don't get my makeup done often. Nothing felt "caked on" and everything stayed perfect throughout the night. She was even prepared and able to get rid of my day-of blotchiness/swelling from staying up a little too late the night before! My bridesmaid all felt the same way and thought it was the best makeup they'd ever had done at a wedding. They were both very accommodating and professional, kept to the schedule perfectly, and were even able to do my grandma's make-up while she sat in her wheelchair! What we also loved was each person received a lip touch up kit so you didn't have to worry about how you'd look for pictures later in the day. The bride receives a full touch up kit that included everything you could possibly need for rest of the day, scenarios I didn't even think of! Also, Jennifer not only provides a trial for your make-up but she also recommended an entire skincare regime for me to follow the months leading up to the wedding which I desperately needed. Beyond all that, Jennifer is just a fun person to work with and talk to! I highly recommend her and her team for doing such a fabulous job pre and during the wedding!
