The 2nd hair stylist that was there at our wedding did a nice job, however, it did feel like she rushed through some of the girls hair which required some touch ups later on. Joy gave me that flawless, glowing look while still making sure I looked like myself. She struck the perfect balance between glam and natural, which is exactly what I wanted. The makeup photographed beautifully and didn’t budge, even through all the happy tears and dancing! Beyond their talent, Katrina, Joy, and the whole team were such a calming presence the morning of the wedding. They were friendly, professional, and made the whole getting-ready process feel relaxed and fun. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup, and I felt absolutely amazing all day. a makeup girlie and I am pretty particular about my hair, but Joy/Katrina’s openness and willingness to ensure everything was perfect really put me at ease. There were multiple trials and even the day of they were very kind about some tweaks that I wanted to make. The makeup was stunning—a beautiful, natural glam look that felt just right. The hair was glamorous and was just what I wanted in the end! Additionally, they were very easy to contact throughout the process. Highly recommended!

I even made a last minute change to my hairstyle from my trial and Caroline walked me through it and was prepared to do anything I threw at her. Not only did she create a flawless hairstyle, completely different then what we did for my trial, but both my hair and makeup lasted throughout the entire event. Both Caroline and Jae Lee also managed to keep me calm and relaxed no matter what. I received so many compliments from guests about how stunning my hair and makeup looked, and I owe it all to Caroline and Jae Lee. They both truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my special day.

lly wants to know your true feelings about her work and if there's anything you don't love! When it came to the wedding day, all of my bridesmaids had nothing but amazing things to say about her and how talented she is. She had a second stylist assistant who was new to her and the company I believe, and she did VERY cute work it just seemed to be missing some final touches and loose pieces that fell. Carolynn made time and meticulously went back and adjusted those things, and I really appreciated her time management and attention to detail! She also worked seamlessly with our makeup artists. They said they never collaborated before, and you would have never known!!!

at said, I am only leaving 3 out of 5 stars due to their customer service the day of. Rarely do I like to leave somewhat negative reviews, but this aspect of their service has really bothered me since my wedding. Although polite and sociable at times, they appeared as though they just wanted to finish the job as quickly as possible and leave. Like, it was a burden to be there. At one point, the owners of the venue also needed the their vehicles moved, because they lived on the property, and Jae and team gave a lot of attitude and push back in doing so. They said they'll move when they feel like moving, essentially. Which, was completely unprofessional. I also paid for nice makeup and hair for my mother and grandmother, and felt like they did the bare minimum for my mom, and I was not a fan of my grandmothers makeup. My wishes as the bride, were for my mom to have an updo (something she could not do herself -- hence paying for fancy hair/makeup). Anyways, she has a tendency to hide behind her hair, and so knowing her as well as I do, I relayed that I wanted it up and out of her face-- especially for my wedding. Then, when I was preoccupied, the stylist told her "do whatever you want to do" and only straightened her hair -- and not very well at that. I get the impression, they did that because it was easier for them too. Nevertheless, I've also seen both my grandma and mom do better makeup than what was done for them. I could have asked my sisters to do their hair and makeup if I knew it was going to turn out like that. I wanted to honor them and make them feel amazing. Especially since my mom has not done anything to pamper herself ever and with how hard she's had it the past several years. Anyways, to me, their look that day was almost as important as mine. They did not look their best, whatsoever. I was very disappointed. Lastly, they need to clearly define what they consider a flower girl is. Our flower girl was 14 yrs old -- and after reviewing their brochure, she would have qualified for free makeup. I relayed to them prior to that day, that I'd have a flower girl that they needed to do makeup for. The day of however, they told us after her makeup was done, that we owed them for a junior bridesmaid's makeup. The last thing a bride needs, is to worry about last minute expenses and lack of clarity. That to me, was bad business. Brides, keep record of your payments and who you've paid for services for, so this doesn't happen. Also, print out their brochures so you are an informed client in case this happens to you, with any vendor! I'll end with saying again -- I feel like I was taken care of. So, they did well with that. That said, I would just hope that after they read this review, they pay more attention to what the bride voices are her desires, because after all it is her day. They shouldn't just try to get in, get out, and get going -- skimping where they can. Also, I hope they read this with an understanding to be better guests on someone else's property, to provide prompt clarification, and of the importance of being upbeat and better company. Jae engaged in conversation and was really nice to my mom. That said, as some of the first people the bride or bridal party sees, they've got to be better with setting the tone

I also booked Jeni and Dana for my engagement photos, which happened to be the hottest day of the year. We had a heat index of 105 and I was convinced my hair wasn't going to hold a curl and that my makeup would be streaking down my face in a matter of minutes. I was SHOCKED when my hair held and continued to hold, and my makeup didn't run. My hair and makeup held up for 1.5 hours in 105 degree heat without an issue. After that experience, I wasn't worried about my wedding day at all, I knew we would be in great shape. The day of my wedding, Jeni and Dana showed up on time and ready to go. We had myself, 5 bridesmaids, my mom, and my aunt to get various combinations of hair and make up done. Everything ran so smoothly and efficiently, I didn't have to worry about time once. They knocked everything out of the park and had time to do touch ups along the way. Everyone's hair and make up held throughout the day and night, and they all looked so stunning. I can not recommend Jeni and Dana enough!

They had us ready to go for the first look at 2pm! I was so impressed at how efficiently they moved through everyone. Everyone’s hair and makeup was so pretty! My hair stayed in place and held up to the heat and humidity on a 95 degree day in May. They were bright and positive just as you’d hope everyone would be the morning of your wedding. Highly recommend!
