We did an engagement session, and although we aren’t the most comfortable people in front of a camera by nature, he put us at ease and made it such a blast for us. The photos came out beautiful and one of a kind! On our wedding day, he was so kind and professional, and helped us create beautiful moments. He has a way of keeping a chaotic group on track in the nicest way, and I know my friends and family enjoyed working with him. And then….photos! We had a preview on instagram the day after our wedding, and our full library was ready in a couple weeks! And more important than speed, the photos were just so beautiful, artistic and unique. t of photography and design. We chose to do a "reveal" prior to the ceremony and spent 2 hours with JLB on creative shots - which turned out to be my favorite part of the entire day! Sometimes, I think the magic of being married gets lost in the actual agenda of the day, but spending those hours together, traveling around the city taking photos as a couple before the ceremony started felt like someone pushed "pause" on the day, and allowed us to enjoy it--and that experience was because of JLB photography. us to work with a photographer who supports the LGBTQ+ community. So, when we got engaged he was the first person we called. We immediately clicked and knew it was meant to be. Every consultation, chat, video call, JLB just knew our vibe and what we were looking for and we trusted him completely. He knew what was important to us. Our journey around Detroit with our wedding party was a dream. He took us to interesting and beautiful places and it was such a cool experience. The GIFS he made! He captured every detail, every intimate moment, every smile, every tear. We even tasked him with taking large family photos after our ceremony and he did not bat an eye! The day of the wedding can always be chaotic. JLB was very patient and even set a great tone that made us feel less nervous about the days events. He was so synchronized with our other vendors and had his vision already planned. That helped us enjoy the day even more. We were in good hands that day! It was so seamless. Our family and friends loved working with him as well. He made everyone laugh and feel comfortable at every moment. He gets people and captured some amazing photos. A real gem to work with! 10/10 would ALWAYS recommend!

and beyond the day of the wedding. One of the groomsmen did not have the suspenders he needed for the ceremony and without being asked or prompted Jeff said “I’m on it“ and went to see what was going on. We do not like stuffy wedding photos and knew we didn’t want it to be difficult for the bridal party. We’ve both been in weddings where the picture took hours and we didn’t want anyone to miss out! Jeff made it easy and knew exactly what to do and how to place our bridal party of 18 people. Gathering a large group like that can be like herding cattle, but Jeff didn’t even bat an eye. We even did an impromptu 40+ person family photo and Jeff was such a pro, knew exactly where to place everyone and what to do. The wedding photos are works of art and if you can get him to capture your wedding day, you will not regret it! He’s responsive and recommends shots that you may not have thought of. He came up to me at one point and said “I think you need to get this picture with your brother” and I’m just so grateful for that. He just knows what he’s doing and he really seems to enjoy it. I can’t recommend him enough!

rth, great person. Getting to spend our day with him was so fun and he really helped to give us our dream wedding. From the original meeting to the engagement photos, wedding day, album, and photo gallery, the whole process was very easy. He is very professional, organized and clear about what to expect. It was important to us to have some photos with our dogs as well and he is very obviously a dog person. Even our more skittish pup warmed to him quickly for the engagement photos and remembered him right away on the day of the wedding. I was a little nervous having my photo taken but he made me feel at ease and taught us how to get the most out of our photos. They really are absolutely stunning and turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Our family and friends are also astounded by his work. Jeffrey is one of the most talented individuals I have ever worked with. He clearly loves what he does and this will be reflected in all of the memories he captures on your special day. And if you decide to work with him, the other piece of advice I would offer is to trust him completely. He knows what he is doing and you will not regret it. D and worked with us to ensure our day would happen exactly as we wanted. During our engagement session he went above and beyond to get the shot. We walked for what seemed like miles around Blakes and he made it seem like we went to multiples places when we didn't. He wasn't afraid to get dirty to shoot the perfect angle with the light just right. Something as simple as a pick up truck made for one of our favorite photos. Following our session my hubby said he was glad I fought for him as he was going to be 100% worth every penny! Coming from a large loud family, he knew exactly when to be loud and pushy but stay organized to make sure each important member was a part of the day. He was perfect to see him interact with my grandma and ensure our important guests were really featured. I was able to email him with questions and would have a quick response. Our teaser photos and GIFs were amazing and built great anticipation for the full galleries. When describing the final images of our wedding I become speechless other than "let me show you this picture, and this picture and this picture!" He was able to get so many amazing shots that I didn't even realize. I was able to relive the day through his photography. I am an event planner by trade and I tossed so many things to him and the longest list of important people and things to capture and he went above and beyond with all of it. Seeing him get really excited and jump up on down shouting "that's the money shot" made me so excited. As photos we will have for the rest of our lives, I am so happy to selected JLB to capture the moments and memories. Thank you Jeffrey!

flexible. Our venue was the Felt and it was the first time JLB shot there, but he knew exactly what we needed to do for the perfect wedding photos. The 24 hour turnaround for highlights made such an impact. His photos are impeccable. We love all the photos and he made even the most standard wedding shot unique and professional. I have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos. Already multiple of my friends are looking at him for their weddings. Hire him before he books up because he will!

The way he delivers his photos is incredible as well, with a few print outs, a photobook, and a USB holder with photos on it, it goes above and beyond what I anticipated. He also rescheduled once with us due to covid, which was so nice and helpful when it was such a stressful experience. He is very responsive and is willing to help in anyway possible.

o shoot with him, it was so very easy to have him shoot our pics. He is worth every penny, so far we just have the teasers (which he sent the very next morning), but oh my God the teasers are soo beautiful. The pictures are taken so beautifully and the filters that he uses are so very appropriate for the different places and poses that they just look amazing!
