JLF Makeup

Jenny was AMAZINGG!!! I randomly picked her on the Knot website somewhat last minute and she exceeded my expectations!!! She was friendly and understanding when I probably asked to many questions! She did an awesome job on not only my bridal makeup but all of my bridesmaids and both mom and mother in law looked absolutely stunning! I can't even count how many compliments we got on our makeup and it really looked fantastic in pictures!!! She's also a great person to work with, friendly, honest and her prices are very affordable and worth every penny!!! I will be recommending her to anyone who asks!!!

Jenny did my makeup for our wedding this past February. It was absolutely perfect!! I have never felt more beautiful! In the past, I was never a "fan" of getting my makeup done because I always thought it looked overdone or like nothing was done at all. Her style is the perfect balance - making you feel glamorous while bringing out your natural beauty. Also - she is a great person! Your wedding day is the best day of your life and hanging out with someone as awesome as Jenny while you're getting ready will make your day that much better!

Jenny was so sweet and warm - she made me feel at ease on the big day! I've never had my makeup done professionally, so I wasn't sure what I would be walking in to. During our makeup trial, Jenny talked me through what she was doing, asked me what kind of look I was going for, and asked me if I had any particular skin preferences/difficulties (dry skin, etc.). She also explained the differences between using airbrush and traditional foundations (we opted for airbrush, and it was flawless!). I also never expected to use false lashes since I was going for a more natural look, but she showed me how they can really boost your eyes and they looked STUNNING. My mom was also nervous as she is a bit older and didn't want to look inappropriate for her age. However, Jenny made her look simply beautiful, natural, and just the right amount of glamorous to match her look for the evening. Both of our makeup stayed on perfectly all day and all night. We couldn't have been happier with the results! Jenny is such a sweetheart and I'd recommend her to everyone.

Jenny is an absolutely amazing makeup artist! She did the makeup for myself, my wife, and a few family members. We received SO many compliments throughout the day. Jenny is professional and beyond sweet. She listened to how I envisioned my makeup on my wedding day and delivered beyond what I could imagine. She makes you look flawless without the makeup feeling heavy. She did my makeup about 2 in the afternoon and by 2 am it was still perfect. Even thru the humidity and pouring rain! If I ever need my makeup done professionally again I will definitely be calling Jenny.

Jenny is amazing!!!! And works wonders! I cannot even put into works how beautiful she made me feel! I love the more natural look and she did just that! I got so many compliments on my look! Jenny was absolutely fabulous to work with! The makeup trial a few months before my wedding and the experience on my wedding day was perfect and top-notch. She is so sweet, kind and easy to have around — and her work is beautiful and just what I wanted. My entire bridal party loved their makeup and I would recommend her to any bride, no question. :)

Jenny was amazing. She had no problem doing several trials before my big day and listened to my requests as they changed. My wedding make up turned out just as I asked and it even lasted through the rain. My bridesmaids loved their makeup as well and I have already referred her and passed along her information to future interested brides! She is beyond nice and highly recommended.

Jennifer was wonderful to work with! I've never had my makeup done before and did not know how to describe what I had in my head. But Jennifer was such a pro, and she NAILED IT! I felt like myself, but just more confident and pictures are looking great! And the best part...my (now) husband said "You look like you!!" with a huge smile on his face :)

Jennifer was awesome! She and her co-make up artist Joy who was assisting her did a wonderful job with the make-up on my bridal party (7 ladies), my mom, and my grandmother. They finished in plenty of time and everyone loved how they looked. They even provided us with touch up lip color which is a great idea. Our make-up lasted all day and well into the end of the evening. I would definitely recommend these ladies!

I was very impressed by Jenny & her work! She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day & was very flexible! She did all of my girls, my mom & myself & everyone was very pleased! My makeup lasted all day & it was a huge relief to not have to worry about touch ups throughout the day. i would highly recommend her!

Jenny rocks! She is calm, flexible and professional. Most of all, she is so talented! The girls all looked amazing! Even up to the day before my wedding, she was willing to add more girls on for her to do their makeup, helping ease my stress greatly!

I was so nervous to get my makeup done for my sister's wedding earlier this month but Jenny was amazing to work with! She made me and the rest of the bridal party look flawless and feel beautiful! She listened to what I wanted and made some suggestions of her own. At the end of the night I didn't want to take my makeup off! The makeup help up beautifully!! I was so impressed with the makeup job JLF Makeup did! I am not a person who wears a lot of makeup, so I was a bit nervous to have someone else do my makeup. No nerves needed! Jenny listened and then made me look and feel beautiful. I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. Not only was the makeup great, Jenny herself is an amazing person. No amount of words I put in this review will sum up how Jenny made me feel on my wedding day! Jenny was a joy to work with, she is able to travel and came to our hotel to get the girls ready! Her makeup skills are stunning...I felt like royalty. She made my makeup look so natural and effortless with every element of glamour. She made me feel at ease and so confident for the next events to come! We had completed a trial run before my wedding day and she knew exactly what she was doing (colors, techniques etc) the day of, making everything go so smoothly! Loved working with JLF Makeup....

I found Jenny through the Knot & needed a make-up artist minute. She rearranged her schedule to come help & was such a reasonable price! I didn't do a trial or anything with her beforehand so I had no idea what to expect. She did all of my bridemaids, my mother and myself for my big day & everyone was flawless!! I have never felt more beautiful than when she did my make-up. Not only is she an amazing artist, but so sweet and easy to work with! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Jenny was absolutely amazing. I first did a test run with her, which was nice because we got to know each other a bit and I have never had my makeup professionally done. She did amazing then and I couldn't wait to have her a part of my big day. She was very sweet to me, and my ladies and gave us all the look we wanted. She was patient with all of us. Jenny is amazing at what she does!! I definitely recommend her. Not only is she amazing but she is affordable and has some pretty awesome deals if you have four or more other ladies getting their makeup done. Go with JLF makeup, you won't be disappointed!!

Wedding make-up is a MUST! You spend the entire day running around, smiling, having your picture taken, and talking to hundreds of people and you have NO time to touch up your makeup or worry about what it looks like. Jenny was amazing, sweet and is a heck of a makeup artist. All of my bridesmaids were blown away at how kind, thoughtful and talented she was on that day. I looked exactly like myself, but better! She understood the look I wanted and my makeup lasted the entire day without smudging OR looking caked on. She was also quick, efficient and accommodating. She met us at the salon and quickly began doing everyone's makeup. I am so glad that I found Jenny and if I ever need my makeup done again, I will certainly be using her, only!

First of all, it's overwhelming choosing a makeup artist as there are so many options and they all have very different styles! I did trial a few others and although I told them what I wanted, I felt like they tried to persuade my decisions on my look. Jenny with JFL Makeup was easy to reach via text and email, she responded quickly, which I really appreciated! She was very sweet and professional. She also came to me for my trial makeup, which made it so very convenient :) Jenny gave me her suggestions on my look, but asked me a lot of questions about my skin, how long I wanted my makeup, and what colors I wanted, it made such a difference!! Prior to my wedding day, she communicated well, which helped a lot, making final plans, I never felt like she was out of the loop. She was there right on time, and my bridesmaid and mom loved her!! I kinda changed my mind on my makeup, which a girls entitled to, lol, that day and she just rolled with it :) my airbrushed foundation makeup and regular eye makeup stayed in place all day, everyone commented on how beautiful my makeup looked. It's definately how a bride should feel on her wedding day. I really appreciated her service and talent very much. I would recommend her for anyone looking for an amazing makeup artist!

I did a lot of research attempting to find the most quality makeup artist at the most affordable price and JLF is definitely the BEST of all worlds! Jenny was super accommodating, very sweet and encouraging, and made me feel absolutely beautiful on my big day. She also did most of my bridesmaids makeup and every single one of them loved the end product!! We received tons of compliments about our makeup!! If you're on the fence about who to choose to do your makeup JLF is most definitely the best choice! Jenny will make you feel like a million dollars at a very affordable price! JLF Makeup did a phenomenal job on makeup for my entire bridal party for my wedding. Everything looked great all day and late into the night. I had eyelash supplements applied, and they looked wonderful, and not fake. My mom was very nervous about getting makeup done, because she has never had it done before. (She said she didn't want to look like a "tramp"!) She loved it. Everyone looked natural and beautiful, and we love our pictures!
