We had DJ Tim and Jenny as our wedding DJs and couldn't recommend them enough. From the initial meeting to the final song, this duo exemplified professionalism, enthusiasm, and expertise to make our music/emcee excellent. They work with an easy to use app where you can input any song preference's, and then they will work with you to curate playlists to your liking. Our dance floor was packed the ENTIRE NIGHT! I can truly say a huge reason why our guests had a blast was due to our DJ team. We were complimented the whole night on the song choices and variation. Many thanks to Tim and Jenny!

Can’t express enough appreciation for Tim and Jenny. Our Hilton Head destination wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them. They made planning from afar super easy, which meant a lot. When the day came, they were organized and ready to have a good time. Until then, we’d never met in person. But their professionalism was immediately apparent. They even a few tricks up their sleeves which we’d never seen done at a wedding — and none of those tricks were cheesy. Our dance floor was a busy place, and that’s largely a credit to them. Bravo!

My husband and I used JLK Events for our wedding on December 9, 2023. While the lightening provided by JLK was nothing short of stunning, the true icon of the night was DJ Tim and Jenny. They went above and beyond for my husband and I, from the first conversation to the actual wedding day! Our reception is one our friends and family can't stop talking about. The music was phenomenal, the interaction with guest was great. DJ Tim and Jenny even created a special track of "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey and a recording of us speaking our vows from our ceremony to create and play a special Vow mix to finish the night off dancing too. It is one of my favorite memories from our wedding day!! And he was even so kind to send us a copy of the mix so we can cherish it forever <3 You won't regret using JLK Events or DJ Tim and Jenny!

DJ Tim and the JLK events crew were the absolute best choice we could have made for our wedding day! From the ceremony sound system set up out on the beach to the reception they were totally flawless. I was so worried having our wedding out on the beach it would be difficult for guests to hear everything but they made sure everything came out perfectly. JLK is wonderful to work with! I recently used them for a clients wedding and they provided Cafe lighting, Cold Sparks and DJ services with DJ TIM! All teams were amazing and worked together wonderfully to make my clients wedding everything that they had imagined. DJ Tim is one of a kind. He is not a push play DJ. DJ Gary was the best DJ we could have asked for! My husband and I are not typically out on the dance floor at parties or weddings but we did not take a seat the entire night because Gary knew how to keep the party going! DJ Henry Race and JLK were so easy to work with. We finally celebrated our wedding after two additional attempts in 2020 and 2021 at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn in April of 2022 (Covid couple). My husband has worked in food and beverage for several years on Hilton Head and didn’t have very many requests for our wedding, but he was very happy we were able to book DJ Henry. They were great to work with in regards to rebooking and scheduling. The day of was everything we hoped it would be, from the sound/ceremony music, the entrances and most importantly once the dance floor opened. Our party animal guests didn’t leave the dance floor, and as I hoped, age was nothing but a number. I hate when I go to weddings and only younger people are dancing. Dj Henry did a great job, and had everyone dancing with his lineup. We would definitely recommend DJ Henry and JLK events.

Not being familiar with the area had my now wife and I struggling a bit to find the right people to help our wedding go as perfect as we’d imagine. I cannot stress how amazing DJ Tim Allen was throughout the entire process. From having phone calls and emails prior to the wedding to set it all up and recommending other vendors. Tim and Jen are always ready to make you laugh but most importantly are ready to make the clients night one to remember. Gary was the absolute best! He did both the ceremony and reception music for us. He told us that he wanted to have a few meetings prior to the event so that we felt like he was a friend instead of a stranger and that could not have been anymore accurate! We cannot thank Gary and JLK events enough! We were limited on music ideas but he nailed it, and many of our guests complimented how amazing the music was. Guests were on the dance floor the entire night and Gary added a very special surprise at the end of the night which left both the groom and I in tears. Gary Lucca from JLK Events was incredible to work with! He was so flexible with meeting up in person and via zoom as this was a destination wedding for us. The process of choosing music was easy via an app called Vibo, which Gary used for our playlist and found clean/radio edits of certain songs. His attention to detail was amazing! Gary added on glow batons for the final hour of dancing, which was so cool when we made our grand exit. He added in parts from our vows during a song at the end of the night…such a special touch. He had clips of phone calls from family that couldn’t attend our wedding (I sobbed). He flawlessly helped us pull off an incredible event. Tim is the absolute best DJ in the area!! I met him at a bridal show, and I knew that I wanted his MC skills to hype up the crowd. He was thorough in helping us with a timeline, and worked well with all vendors. He was able to get all the key aspects of our wedding dream down! JLK also supplies other options for lighting. They put up lamps on various stairs. They also put cafe lights in our ballroom, which made it look so much better!! Gave it an "under the tent" feel. We had a spotlight put above our sweetheart table with our new table. Highly recommend JLK with all your music and lighting needs!

Our guests loved being able to add their songs to the app, it helped our DJ figure out our crowds vibe, which can be tricky with lots of differing ages. Even with a smaller wedding due to Covid-19, DJ Tim kept the celebration going and did a great professional job! He even had an assistant to help him as he walked out to introduce the wedding party, speeches, welcome, etc. if you want the perfect team- go with JLK and ask for DJ Tim

Seriously, I couldn’t have asked for a better team. The overall vibe is so fun and exciting. I loved the app they offered that helps us narrow down songs, because boy is that a task. Their services help make all of the challenges of wedding planning so much easier. Tim and his assistant (I wish I remembered her name/she was lovely) made our wedding day so special! We had some troubles with a crazy lady next door, (lol) but this didn’t phase our event at all ESPECIALLY because we had them. They made sure to make us feel so special, wish a custom song, and keep the event running. Everyone was on the dance floor dancing. I’m so grateful for them and every attention to detail. JLK Events was one of our smartest hires for our wedding. The JLK Events team arrived the day before our wedding to set up our lighting and arrived the day after to take it down. I never even saw them. It was seamless! The cafe/bistro lights were one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding. I got more than I paid for as we had the incredible lighting for an extra day. I’d recommend JLK any day!

DJ Gary was incredible and went above and beyond all our expectations. We have had so many compliments from our guests about how our wedding was the best they had ever been to and how Gary was the best DJ ever! Gary is amazing and we are so thankful that we were able to have him as our DJ!

DJ Tim was the DJ and MC for my wedding and I could not be happier with that decision. He did such an amazing job and was exactly what we were hoping for! Also, so so many of my friends and family have told me both on the wedding day and now days after how great of a job he did! I would 100% recommend him if you're looking for someone with an awesome personality who knows how to run a party! :)

When planning our wedding reception I was initially worried about going with a DJ instead of a bank, but everything was perfect and I am so glad that we did! Having a DJ allowed us to pick a much wider variety of music. We chose Gary and he helped make our day so personal! He was extremely helpful during the planning process and all of our guests loved him! My husband's grandmother wasn’t able to attend and Gary played a message from her during the reception! It meant so much to us and her to be included on our day! Our dance floor stayed crowded all night, things could not have gone better. I would definitely recommend Gary!

Gary was not only exceptional the night of the wedding, but extremely attentive to our wants and needs leading up to the event. It is obvious that his natural demeanor coupled with his experience was integral to making our wedding so special. We couldn't have asked for more in a DJ or someone like Gary who also keeps the wedding streamline and organized through the entire night. We had JLK Events for our destination wedding in Hilton Head. Gary was outstanding. could have not asked for a more professional and fun person to deal with. We had multiple meeting in person and online prior to wedding. He had everything planned out for us and the evening was seamless. So many of our guests complimented us on the music and event. We would definitely recommend JLK and specifically Gary to anyone.

Tim from JLK events was great! From the planning to the ceremony to the dinner and finally the reception, he did a terrific job with the music! Having a destination wedding, DJ Tim was able to phone conference with us on several occasions to help us with keeping track of music choices. He was organized and very helpful when we wanted to touch base. On wedding day he was there and ready to go!! He kept most of the crowd dancing all night!! And he even threw in a couple little surprises that really made our night even more special! Even friends commented on what a good DJ we had at the wedding! Thank you, DJ Tim!

JLK Events were amazing! Jamie and Liz were so accommodating and had great vision for making the lighting at our venues spectacular. We had tons of up lighting, two personalized monograms and even a chandelier hanging in the oak tree to highlight our outdoor wedding ceremony. DJ Tim—We had a blast! Thanks for covering all aspects of making our wedding reception “Rock”! Tim was amazing—he met with us three times to make sure he was meeting our needs and capturing our wishes. I don’t write reviews unless they are necessary. We were fearful of having a DJ but at our venue there wasn’t space for a band. Every wedding we’ve both attended, DJ’s made or broke the wedding. I’d say, about 75% of them were ruined because the DJ tried to steal the show and were very cheesy. Gary was a rockstar! He played songs we wanted to hear and added more that everyone enjoyed. It was cold outside and everyone still wanted to be on the dance floor. He had surprises up his sleeves and they were nothing short of perfect! His timing was on point, his execution was perfection and he made our wedding day better than we anticipated. His professionalism and humbleness should be pointed out as well. Like I said, he was a rockstar.Our guests haven’t stopped sending praises his way! I will recommend him and his company to anyone who asks. I can’t say enough!

DJ Gary from JLK events did an amazing job at our wedding and was great to work with! He held meetings with us via skype prior to the wedding, and again in person the day before the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page and that he wasn't missing anything. He was very flexible with our schedules, personable, fun and easy going! He was also very receptive with our song ideas and the "vibe" we wanted for our cocktail hour and reception. Gary also gave suggestions and talked to us about what has worked best in the past from his experiences, which was so helpful! He was very organized and worked with our wedding day coordinator to make everything go smoothly. While playing music throughout the night he doesn't allow that awkward down time between songs which I thought was so important, too. Our wedding happened to be during a tropical storm, so we had to move things around and Gary did such a good job switching things up last minute! Lastly, he had a surprise for us where he incorporated our vows we said earlier in the night into our last dance song, which was such a special and unique touch that we will never forget. Everyone (young and old) had such a great time dancing the whole night thanks to Gary! All around an awesome DJ and I would definitely recommend him and JLK Events! :)

DJ Tim was incredible!! Thru the planning process and the day of the wedding! He made it so easy and fun! He helped get our wedding party organized for our grand entrance and made sure everything went seamlessly! He was like a second wedding planner!! Jamie and Liz were such a joy to work with! Our in-person meetings were so helpful! They didn't rush us when we were trying to decide on songs. They made sure that things were going to run smoothly and as we envisioned them. Simply the best!

DJ Gary did a phenomenal job at our wedding in October of 2019. He’s very organized, friendly, personable, and will give great suggestions on how to make you and your guests have the most fun. He even planned unique surprises for my husband and I that I’ve never seen a DJ do at a wedding before, which made us feel extra special. We got so many compliments from our guests about our DJ. DJ GARY IS THE BEST!!!! If you are looking for someone to make your wedding the best time, you have found the right guy. DJ Gary was so nice to work with. We had a destination wedding, so planning from 5 hours away could be stressful at times. Not with DJ Gary. He made the process so easy and smooth. And that was just the planning. When it came to the day of the wedding, he made my husband and I feel SO special. He throws in several extras that were so sweet and special to us. He kept everyone at the wedding out on the dance floor the entire time. Our guests all raved about how much fun they had. I just can’t say enough about him. We love DJ Gary!!

What a fabulous experience! Gary and JLK took care of everything! Gary worked with our wedding planner and photographer on the timelines and everything went off without a hitch. It was well planned, fun and easy. We had some remote sessions as this was a destination wedding and met in person in advance so we were comfortable. The music was what we asked for and for fun, since we had a toddler, he played "Baby Shark" without prompting - everyone loved it, including the toddler's parents.

I can not recommend JLK and Gary Lucca enough. They deserve every ounce of praise they get. Gary was absolutely fantastic to work with and I can't imagine a better DJ! We are from NC and got married at the sea pines resort on Hilton Head Island so it was a destination wedding for both us and our family and friends. Gary made the process so easy and effortless. It took me over 8 months to finish my music (it was one of the most important things to me) and Gary was so patient and helpful. Any last minute changes Gary handled without the blink of an eye. The actual day and night of our wedding, Gary was perfection. Our day was flawless and the night of lives. Every single one of guests had a fantastic time and it wouldn't have been possible without Gary and JLK. If you don't book JLK and Gary Lucca you are doing it wrong!

We found JLK Events from our venue, Venue1223, in Bluffton, SC. We left our first meeting feeling like we were already friends with Jamie and Liz. They shared their story of starting their business, and we were most impressed with the fact that they practice upcoming events once a week together. Since we are from Ohio, we had 3 video conferences with DJ Tim. He was attentive in listening to our daughter's vision of steering away from the common wedding music and had great suggestions to complete her vision. There was never a moment when the dance floor was unoccupied, not once! And many guests complimented on his great smile :). Thank you Jamie & Liz and DJ Tim for creating and fulfilling our daughter's dream wedding!

Tim was our DJ for our wedding. He did an absolutely phenomenal job. He got the party started and kept it going. You could tell he had a great sense of the crowd and the type of music they wanted to listen too. He even did an awesome remix of Journey that had audio clips from our ceremony mixed in. It got everyone out on the dance floor for the last song of the night! I would highly highly highly recommend Tim to anyone! Also JLK uses this great App that you can use to select songs you definitely want to hear and songs you don't want to hear. So easy to use and makes the planning a breeze!
