ight, my hair as well as my bridal party's hair held up through wind and dancing and still looked good at the very end of the night (and three of us had our hair styled down!). She worked quickly but without sacrificing quality. A family member did our wedding makeup, so I can't speak to her makeup services, but I highly recommend her for wedding day hair!

ith Jessica months in advance for a trial and made it a point to let her know of my unique circumstances - I am from NY and was making a trip to Lancaster, PA where my wedding in November is to meet with all of my vendors. Jessica agreed to travel to my hotel for the trial, on my own expense, even before we had signed the contract because this is something that was important to me. I agreed to pay $100 more for my trial for her travel expenses. My husband took days off of work to be able to take a trip to meet with all of our vendors. Two days before my trial, Jessica tells me Lancaster is "too far for her to travel" and that she "didn't realize it was that far" from her. "For some reason I thought it was closer to 1.5 hours". She told me that she wouldn't be able to come to my trial two days before even though we had agreed on it, signed a contract, paid extra and made an entire trip around the appointment. This is even after following up with her multiple times to triple confirm the appointment at my hotel in Lancaster. Even after all of this, she put the blame on me claiming that this was my fault and that she did not know where my hotel was after confirming with her that we would be staying in Lancaster. Jessica advertises as being a PA hair stylist; It is not my fault that she did not properly look up where my venue was or the location of Lancaster where I had told her I would be staying when I originally reached out to her, instead she went off of where she thought it was. We signed our contract after agreeing to this - had she not agreed, I would have understood and moved on with my hair stylist search. Now I am stuck scrambling trying to find someone available for my wedding in November. PA brides please stay away and look elsewhere!! Do not make the mistake I unfortunately did

They were such a calm, lovely presence for the morning of the wedding, and made everyone feel comfortable and ensured that we were all ready ahead of schedule so there was no last-minute stress. email to Jessica to schedule my hair and makeup trial for my September 2020 wedding. A few weeks go by and I never received a response, I then sent another email. Still never received a response. I then reached out in the beginning of June on JLP Facebook messenger. Again, a few weeks go by and still no response. I had her on my Venmo account from when I gave her my deposit, I happen to go on and saw that she had a lot of activity going on with other clients, but has been ignoring me for now 2 months. I was so worried not being able to get in contact with her I kept saying to myself, “what if she doesn’t show up on my wedding day.” It was now July and I had no choice but to go on her personal Facebook page (something I would never do to a vendor) because I was running out of ways to contact her and needed to see what was going on. She FINALLY replied through messenger and we set up a date for my trial. Well guess what, she never showed up. My mom and I drove all the way to New Jersey(we are in Lehigh Valley, she just changed locations from Stroudsburg, PA to NJ so I had a farther drive for the trial) for her not to arrive. She used the excuse that she got a new calendar system and it didn’t transfer my appointment in. Very unprofessional. Now, 1 month before my wedding I was searching for a new hair and makeup artist. Thank goodness I was able to find one. Other brides be careful, I would hate for this to happen to you!

standing when I wanted to change up my hair a little bit from the trial and add real flowers. Besides me, all my girls looked just as amazing. All of our hair and makeup held all day and night (11hrs total). Not only that but she was so fun to just talk with and knew exactly what I needed when I was getting anxious (thanks again for the laughs). Jess and her team know what they are doing and I can promise you if you work with them you will not be disappointed. AMAZING! Thank you again for everything.

and detailed - even though I did not go for a viking braid for my own look, I knew I was in good hands with Jessica's talent and attention to detail! On the day, she showed up early which I appreciated and perfectly re-created my reference photo. Not only that but my curls held for almost 5 hours in muggy, humid 80 degree August weather! And my photog commented on how perfectly matte my face was three hours in even though I was sweating bullets under my dress. I also want to say that I really loved how Jessica did my makeup. I don't wear any makeup in my daily life and was worried about looking too made-up for my wedding or that my fiance wouldn't recognize me lol! But I ended up with perfect, clean, dewy makeup and Jessica chose the perfectly amount of "natural" false eyelashes for me. I really loved it all. And she did a perfect job with my two adorable flower girls who loved the chance to be pampered. They got their hair curled and just a little bit of powder and blush and it all looked wonderful. <3

She showed up on time and ready to start the day of my wedding and she was really flexible with the time. She is so sweet on top of it all. I do not typically write reviews but I was beyond impressed with Jessica and her work. Her shop is really clean and cute as well.

She also did my hair and makup for my engagment pictures. From here on out she will be the only one I contact for any hair or makup in the future.

dding day and a huge part of that is thanks to Jessica! All of my bridesmaids' hair, my own hair, and both of the mothers' hair were all done to perfection. Jessica took our inspiration hairstyles and made them even more beautiful than we could have imagined - truly phenomenal work! I also had Jessica airbrush my makeup and it turned out perfectly! I am a minimalist, particularly when it comes to makeup, but she made me look so natural and flawless that you could still see all of my freckles but none of my blemishes! I truly cannot say enough about how great Jessica was. She rolled with all of the planning changes so easily, was flexible, personable, and made my morning run smoothly! My wedding was exactly a month ago (6 Oct) and I still think about how beautiful I felt that day.

The day of the wedding came around and Jess and her team made each of us feel special, cared for and everyone felt and looked amazing! All of my bridesmaids told me afterwards how much fun it was getting ready and how much they LOVED their hair and makeup. My cousin even ended up booking her for her own wedding! Thank you Jess! st. I ended up changing the make up look from my trial so I was a little nervous on how the look would be without trying it first but let me tell you she did a fabulous job and I couldn’t be happier. She managed to make me look like a bride but still myself. Also she managed to finish early with 7 girls. I highly recommend this company.

ibly indecisive and ended up having three paid hair trials. After the third, she was able to combine multiple pictures that I showed her to create the perfect hairstyle for my wedding! I texted her less than a week before the wedding to have this third trial, and she was happy to accommodate me. By the way, her studio space is wonderful too. On the day of the wedding, her girls arrived on time and ready to work. My wife and I had our hair done by Jessica and the rest of the bridal party (14 girls!!!!) had hair and makeup done. Everyone was happy with the results. Everyone who came was nice, professional, and talented! They were able to stay ahead of schedule which was a relief having so many people involved. Our vibe was rustic and romantic. Biased probably, but my hair was my favorite style. I got compliments ALL night on how beautiful and unique it was!
