THE PHOTOGRAPHER DID NOT SHOW UP!
I paid the retainer fee in August 2021 to secure the photographer for my wedding in June 2022. The contract was countersigned by the photographer...
and the rest of the payment would be given at the end of the wedding day, per the contract.
I called a guest 10 minutes before the wedding was to start, and they said they had not seen a photographer, so I was panicking at this point. I called the photographer, they called back and said they were in Milwaukee (3 hours away!). And said that I wasn't on their calendar as they hadn't received the invoice (so they forgot I paid it back in August). DEVASTATING.
I had not had further contact from the photographer before the date, I assumed they would show up per the contract. If there was an issue with payment (which there was not), a professional would have called beforehand to sort this out WELL IN ADVANCE.
Our families pitched in to help us and take pictures for us, and that I'm grateful for. The retainer fee has been refunded to me. While I cannot comment on their photography skills, I cannot in good faith recommend JLVeritas Photography. I'm sure Jeff and Liana are wonderful people, but they did not follow through.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of the shots from our engagement shoot. They have an extreme attention to detail and do everything possible to be sure that all of your shot requests for day of wedding are met. They followed up with us regularly - we didn't have to wonder - "why aren't they responding to us?"
Jeff has really good experience and is able to capture quality shots quickly. They really listened to what we wanted to do schedule-wise for the big day and they followed it.
Their photos are crisp with beautiful rich colors! And a great value for the price. Would highly recommend them.

We had a simple wedding in the beautiful town of Helen, Ga with our families and close friends. The Pello’s are one of the most professional folks one can work with. They also have such kind and upbeat personalities. Both their individuality and years of wedding experience created a peaceful and happy atmosphere for our big day. Because of this, we were all able to truly enjoy each moment. Liana took the time to discuss the schedule of wedding day and shaped it to fit our needs. She also called me days before the wedding to go over last minute details such as what time everyone needed to be there for pictures and made sure I was I was at ease. At the wedding, Liana and Jeff blended in so wonderfully; they were easygoing, very professional, and full of amazing ideas that worked well with everyone. They were very calm and cheerful while keeping us on schedule. This made our day incredible, simple and worry free. We loved how they helped orchestrate all our guests to be a part of our wedding photo! That was fun.
