John and Zarah was so amazing to work with on our wedding day. They made everyone feel at ease and comfortable. I cannot stop looking at our gorgeous wedding gallery that we received. Every shot is stunning and it has been very difficult to narrow them down to the ones we want to order. John was even wonderful with our dog and got some great pictures of her even though she is very wiggly. John and Zarah are very relaxed and we never felt stressed at all. Their unlimited hours package was perfect for us because we wanted "getting ready" pictures but we also had some special greek dances towards the end of the night that we wanted photographed as well. I cannot recommend them enough!

We absolutely loved JM Photography! Our lead shooter was Zarah Painter, who was supported by second shooter Melissa and assistant Dylan. Zarah was great to work with both before and after the wedding and created some absolutely stunning shots. My husband and I both tend to be a little shy in front of a camera, but somehow she made us feel so at ease, which resulted in amazing photos. She even got an amazing night photo of us in the rain, which is just so cool. She was also incredibly fast--she sent us our preview photos the day after the wedding (!), and our full album 2-3 weeks later. We would absolutely recommend JM Photography!

JM Photography had shot my best friend's wedding a few years back so when we began our photographer search, they were at the top of my list. We actually ran into John at a bridal show and found out he had our date available. He was actually the very first vendor we booked and it was one of the smartest decisions we made!! John was very attentive to the many emails and many questions this anxious bride to be had for him. He would always answer emails quickly or pick up the phone. John really helped with the timeline for the day of the wedding which was super helpful. We had a phone call with him the week before to go over any last minute details. He also called me a few days before "just to check in on the bride" which I thought was so sweet and just an extra special touch from him. The day of the wedding, John and his assistant photographer, Zara, showed up right on time. John began taking photos of me and my girls getting ready and Zara took care of some detail shots. John made me feel super comfortable and having him there really helped all the nerves go away. He had me constantly laughing and smiling naturally, which I knew would look best in photos. He was with us all day and really helped wrangle our wedding party and our large, complex families. We even had our dogs come for some photos and John and Zara got some great shots of them, which is no easy feat!! He took me and my husband for just some shots of us and made us both feel so at ease. John and Zara were present all day and night with us. We got a few sneak peeks of our wedding less than a week later and they were absolutely beautiful!!! I must have looked through them at least a hundred times and was still tearing up looking at them. John does AMAZING work with a camera and is an absolute gem of a person to work with. Our wedding day was perfect and I am so excited to see the rest of the photos in a few weeks!! John and Zara were absolutely wonderful on our wedding day. We found JM Photography through the knot while browsing photographers in our area that also fell in our budget and matched the vibe we wanted. While looking at JM’s work, we loved the mix of traditional photos and candids, but also that the pictures look elevated, not over-edited. When we first spoke with John, it was almost immediately a done deal. We felt like he knew exactly what we were looking for, and then some. Having never been photographed professionally to this extent, he made us feel more at ease and excited for our big day. It was also a huge plus that he was familiar with our venue and where the best shots could be taken as well as what the flow of the day would look like. It ended up raining on our wedding day but John and Zara did not miss a beat. We were still able to get the shots we wanted, including some fabulous night-time shots in the misty rain. We received some sample photos days after our wedding to view and we cannot wait to see the rest. JM Photography exceeded our expectations not only from the pictures, but their professionalism and how comfortable they made everyone feel. John and Rachel were incredible at our December 2022 wedding. We just got our pictures back and they were all beautiful!

My wedding was in December 2022 and all I can say is thank you! From beginning to end, John was a reliable resource and vital asset to making my day memorable. Starting off, I had a bad experience with a previous photographer and was slightly apprehensive to meet, but JM Photography was recommended to me. When We sat down for a consultation - I immediately felt at ease by his easy going attitude, honesty, and the genuine feeling of “no pressure” that exuded from the meeting. After agreeing on a suitable package and price for my needs/wants, John helped me set a timeline for my entire day which was greatly needed! His timeline helped me get other vendors and my wedding party organized. Then the big day! John and his team member Zarah captured every detail, a range of emotions, various scenes and times of day - it was incredible. They were fun to work with and made everyone feel comfortable. They let us have fun with some photos and helped us to pose better for the more formal ones. I cannot thank them enough for how they were able to photograph our big day! It was a long day too - they captured moments from approx 11am until midnight! After only a few days, I received a lump sum of the photo’s as a preview, which was such a treat! Then when the rest of the photos arrived just a few weeks later, I was shocked at The amount of amazing pictures I received for such an affordable price. Over 1000 photos that I was able to easily share with family and friends. All in all, JM photography comes highly recommended from this bride and groom! There are no words to express how much I recommend John and Zarah for all your photography needs. My husband and I booked JM Photography early in our engagement the team was recommended to us. From the initial booking all through the wedding day John was very informative, supportive and always one call away if we needed anything. We even asked for a last minute engagement shoot in September, John and Zarah were more than accommodating and was more than happy to do the shoot for us. On the wedding day itself, John and Zarah were prompt and got right down to business. They were the only reason we were on time all day! Both John and Sarah kept a tight timeline while also getting every shot my husband and I wanted. They were both easy going and engaged in all the humor our bridal party threw at them. Throughout the rest of the night, both John and Zarah made sure we got all the extended photos we wanted and when plan A of photos didn’t go as planned, they were quick to figure out plan B. We could not be happier with our decision to book JM photographer because not only will you get an amazing experience and photos but you will also gain a team that will genuinely make you feel like family. Not only did John and Zarah make sure we got the photos we needed but also made sure to check in throughout the day with my husband and I to make sure we were genuinely happy as well as making sure we took a few minutes every so often to just enjoy the day together. John and his team are the best! My husband and I are not wonderful at photos but they made us feel sooo comfortable and the whole process actually was fun because of them. We did the first look at our venue, which was great because we got a lot of our photos done before the ceremony which left more time for us to celebrate in our reception. They were excellent and we are so happy we chose them! We received preview photos a couple of days after our wedding and they turned out so nice, we cannot wait to see the rest of them. Where do I even start? I wish I could give JM Photography more than 5 stars! From start to finish, John and Katelyn were simply amazing at what they do. They first impressed me back in October 2019 when we had our engagement photos done. Not one complaint from either of them when I showed up with 3 big painted pumpkins that they got stuck carrying all over the place for me and while it was raining! Fast forward to 2020 and Covid happened and we decided to postpone our wedding until November 2021. Then we had to postpone again because of my pregnancy. John stayed with us the entire way and made us feel at ease with our decision. I had other vendors trying to talk to me out of postponing or they wouldn’t accommodate us with moving the date… Not John!! He asked me what dates I needed and told me we’d make it work! FINALLLLLLLY, the big day came in April 2022. My wedding day was truly amazing and John and Katelyn played a huge role in that. On top of taking the most beautiful pictures, they helped with EVERYTHING!!! Keeping me calm, the dress, the flowers, holding drinks, the train, gathering the bridal party together, YOU NAME IT…. They did it. They truly went above and beyond to help each and every one of us there. I felt 0 stress all day long and that was pretty much thanks to them! I wish I could have another wedding just so I could have John and Katelyn be a part of it again. The photos from our engagement session and our wedding are absolutely beautiful and they captured the most special moments from both days. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better photographers. The quality of the pictures, prints, canvases, and albums they offer are truly stunning! I love looking at my pictures all around my house! I would 1000000% recommend using them for any and all of your photography needs. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I struggled on finding a photographer because I am very picky with how pictures turn out especially for such a special occasion. I could not have been more thankful or happy to find John and Zarah! They showed up on time and ready to work such a long day with great vibes. My husband and I are so impressed by the many photos we got along with their professional quality.

I stumbled upon John and his team through a random search for photographers. After reading his reviews, I decided to book. He and his assistant Zarah lived up to the reviews since the day I inquired. Booking was incredibly easy and John really put my mind at ease leading up to the wedding. It was clear that I wasn't the first nervous bride he dealt with! John and Zarah helped the wedding day run so smoothly. They were on time, professional, easy to work with, and most importantly (to me), fun to be around. John made sure everything was perfect for every picture including my train and even a piece of hair that wouldn't cooperate. He was even able to get 2 toddlers looking and smiling at the same time. Anyway, we had all of our pictures back within six weeks and they are phenomenal. If John is available for your event, BOOK HIM!

Just got married yesterday and I couldn't wait to write this review. John and Courtney were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! John was always available if I had any questions. He actually calmed me down when he sensed stress in my voice. My bouquet arrived(which I hated) & Courtney actually helped fix it! They always made sure they captured the perfect shot. They went completely above & beyond to make our day perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this team!

JM photography was a fantastic addition to my Mom Mom’s 100th birthday celebration! The photobooth and props provided a fun way for everyone of all ages to create some great memories.  The photo strips were an excellent way for guests to take home a memory favor that was custom made for our celebration. Shanna was amazing to work with!  She is so sweet and makes everyone feel comfortable and always went above and beyond. Shanna helped us get some fantastic pictures and truly captured this once in a lifetime event! We were so pleased and grateful for their services. We highly recommend JM photography!

John and team took the greatest photos of our big day! We are so lucky to have such wonderful memories that were photographed so beautifully. They gave us great direction to get the best photos, but also let us use some of our ideas. Having two photographers for the day of was clutch as they captured different angles and shots. John and Katelyn were absolutely amazing! They made us all feel so comfortable which was not an easy task when you have multiple people in the bridal party that do not like having their pictures taken. Our wedding was on November 27, 2021 and it was freezing and we were taking pictures outside. John made sure that we worked fast and efficiently so that we did not have to stand outside for to long. He also kept checking in with me to make sure that I was okay because my dress only had thin spaghetti straps. I honestly could not have asked for a better photographer, and the photos are absolutely breathtaking! I highly recommend!!

I can not say enough great things about John and his team! After having to reschedule our wedding from Covid last year we were so happy we were able to keep John as our photographer. He made everything less stressful and was helpful throughout the entire process. He made sure to capture every picture I wanted and so many more. My husband and I were blown away after receiving both our engagement and wedding photos from John, Maria, and Rachel! We first met John and Maria back in 2019 for our engagement photo shoot. My husband and I first met John in June of 2019 after we were engaged. Knowing his amazing work from a friend's wedding, we knew he was our guy! Flash forward to March of 2020, our wedding plans changed and continued to throughout the year. We still got married on our day but without any guests, party, or photos. From COVID postponements and delays due to my pregnancy, John was with us through it all. After a summer 2020 cancelled reception again, John made our wish of having formal wedding photos come true when he came out to our parish church to photograph a recreated wedding. He stuck by us, answered every postponement request with kindness and genuine care, and made us feel like our dream of eventually having a reception was possible. We finally had our celebration in August of 2021 and John and Maria were there to make the memories captured treasures. They listened to the needs of our family, they celebrated every change since that original wedding day, and helped us to organize ourselves for the full deal this go around. John and Maria react with such kindness and gentleness, and yet have an incredible dynamic that had us and our family laughing - smiles were photo ready for sure!!! I can't thank John enough for sticking by us and changing our date so many times. Never once did he make us feel like an inconvenience. He understood where we were and where we were hoping to be. Our photos from the summer of 2020 and the summer of 2021 are true gifts. They show a unique perspective, creative touch, and pure love and joy. Maria and John were able to capture so many moments with such ease, making what could be endless hours of awkward posing fun and enjoyable. I cannot recommend them enough!!! John and his team were super professional, reliable, easy to communicate with and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Even through rescheduling our wedding and issues with an uncooperative venue, John was flexible and made a stressful time much easier. We were not given a wedding rehearsal, and truly would not have known what to do, when to line up, when to walk etc if it weren’t for John and his awesome team basically doubling as our wedding coordinators. John is quick to get photos back, and we were very pleased with the results!

I highly recommend this photographer and his team. Planning from 300 miles away, this photographer made things very easy to put together. They showed up on time and were ready to work. They were very experienced and had a lot of recommendations for poses. They also took time to ensure bride and groom were both calm, cool, and collected, throughout the night. Photographers were going out of their way to cater to bride and groom, and we couldn't be more appreciative. We were given a reasonable time line for pictures to be shared and we are happy with that. I would have never thought the photographer would have been such a huge help to me personally, the bride, throughout the whole day from getting ready to saying goodbye to guests. I look forward to working with this team again at future events, and sharing their contact with any others in need of a great photographer and experience.

My husband and I got married during the COVID-19 pandemic and had to postpone our big day, but decided that we still wanted to get married on the original date. John right away told me not to worry, and he came to our tiny backyard ceremony to make sure that we had pictures for that day. And then 2 months later, he came to the postponed wedding as well! John and Shanna were so fun, professional, and very responsive to our suggestions. My now husband and I hired John in December of 2018. John and Maria did our engagement photos and they were fantastic. John met us at our first location and took so many great photos and then, since we did not drive that day, took us to our second location for the rest of the photos. After getting these, we were so sure we made the right decision for our supposed to be May wedding. and then COVID. We were devestated that we had to move our wedding to September. We called all our vendors and John was so reassuring that we were not worried at all. He was able to make our new date happen and was in contact with us during the planning process. The day of the wedding John and Maria were there with us, and as other people have said, felt like family by the end of the night. Our photos are WONDERFUL. every detail was captured and recorded, even some I did not see or remember. Both John and Maria made sure every photo on our "must have" list was gotten and even some impromptu "musts". Even when my father tried to "direct" some photos, John was kind and professional and accommodating. I do not know how we are going to choose our album but it will be wonderful. I cannot thank them enough for capturing what was a magical night. If I had to do it again, I would hire them all over again.

When I say John was absolutely phenomenal and could not have been any better, I mean it! Planning a COVID has not been easy. John took so much of my stress and anxiety and turned it into calm and excitement. First, about a month before the wedding, I was concerned about the venue and wanted to go tour it with John to get a better idea of what to expect for day of. He drove over an hour to meet me at my venue on a Saturday morning. We drove around in a golf cart and made a plan and I felt immediately so much better. I'm an anxious person and as soon as John got there on my wedding day, he was supportive, funny, and kind and I felt better about the whole day. Maria came with John and they complimented each other perfectly. They were at the venue the entire day with me and caught every precious moment. I lost my brother a few years before my wedding and John was so kind understanding during a few very emotional moments throughout the day. He went above and beyond what a photographer needed to be. By the end of this process, I felt like John was family. The very next day he already sent us a bunch of beautiful pictures. Every person in the wedding said the pictures were actually enjoyable to take and didn't feel like a tasks. If I had to recommend just one of my vendors to anyone, it would absolutely be JM Photography. After sharing my sneak peak pictures on facebook and instagram, I had multiple bride-to-bes reach out and ask who my photographer was. I always say that the vendors make or break your wedding. It is the biggest and most special day of your life and I had never realized until I was in the midst of my wedding day how many of those precious moments the bride never actually sees. John and Maria did not miss a single beat. They were around for literally everything. Even after the wedding John checked in again to make sure everything was good and to let me know when he would be sending the remaining pictures. His communication skills are the best of any vendor I worked with and this is so important when planning a wedding, particularly a COVID wedding! My fiancé and i felt like we looked for a photographer for months, we couldn’t find one that we loved until we stumbled upon JM Photography. We contacted john and met with him ASAP. We described what we wanted and he felt that one of his shooters, Maria, was a perfect fit. And she was. We were blown away by her! Every picture is more amazing than the last. She and her second shooter were so easy and fun to work with. They were punctual and took the stress off of my husband and I. I highly recommend using Maria for your photos if you’re wanting an outdoorsy wedding. She was fantastic!

John and Caitlyn were both amazing! Aside from everyone having a good time, pictures were the most important part of my wedding to me. I provided a list of pictures that I knew I wanted and didn't have to think at all throughout the day. They made sure every picture was captured and that the pictures went quickly so that we were able to enjoy our night. All of our pictures are posted to a website that was so easy to share with guests (which they love because they're able to choose their own family pictures), and we have them all on a USB drive. I can't believe how many pictures there were throughout the day. I'm not even sure where they were during the ceremony and reception because they were so discrete, but they captured everything perfectly for the most amazing price! They were also both so helpful with parts of the day that weren't even theirs to worry about like helping the groomsmen pin their flowers. I'm so happy I chose them for my wedding, and I would recommend them to everyone for any big event!

I've only seen the sneak peek photos so far, but I am already in love with them & super excited to see how the rest turn out. Both photographers were professionals and always in the right place at the right time, & John knows all the best spots to get pictures taken! Caitlin held my train everywhere we went and brushed all of the leaves out of the bottom whenever we stopped. They made my husband and I laugh all day and I know our excitement is shown in the pictures. Thank you so much to John and Caitlin!

Choosing John as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding. John was right on time and just came in and made everyone feel comfortable! Maria was so nice and courteous and made sure I was ok from the moment I arrived at the venue. Even though we have not gotten our pictures back yet I know they will be great. The weather got in the way a little bit but John and Maria made it work! Thank you again for making our day perfect!!

John and Maria photographed our wedding on August 9, 2019 and they were everything we had wanted! From the moment we started talking with John, he was professional, helpful, and quick to respond with answers to all of our questions, no matter how crazy. Leading up to our wedding, we ran into a few issues with a location for our first look. John made the time for us and got right on it to find a park that was perfect. He did everything he could to make this the most stress-free day for us before the day even happened! John even called the week of the wedding to confirm addresses, times, and any other details for the day of. On our wedding day, John and Maria were on time and got to work the moment they got there! John was supposed to be going to photograph the guys getting ready but took the time to stop in and say hi to me, while snapping a bunch of pictures. Maria was a blast to spend time with as she photographed my girls and I getting ready. Our day went off without a hitch because of John and Maria! They kept us on schedule, made sure everyone was comfortable and happy all day, and were extremely professional! John constantly checked in with me to see if I needed anything. I had my 2 year old nephew as my ring bearer and both John and Maria worked so well with him! They were able to get wonderful pictures of him. Our family and even our wedding guests still keep telling us how great our photographers were! If you are looking for an affordable photographer who will make sure you have the most stress-free, perfect day, JM Photography is your best option! I will forever recommend him to everyone!

We love John and his fellow photographer we had for our engagement photo shoot! John is so easy to work with, and made the shoot so much fun! My fiancé and I both highly recommend booking JM Photography! The pictures are so much more than what we could’ve imagined! We could not have been happier to have chosen John and his team as our wedding photographers. There is a reason these guys have only 5 star reviews. John was wonderful every step of the way. We had the hottest day of the whole summer and John and his partner were absolute champs, never complaining for a second. They helped our families and us stay at ease through the whole day. I was nervous about it going into the day and they helped everything run more smoothly than I could’ve imagine. Not to mention that our pictures turned out great and their price was totally reasonable. John and Kaitlyn were amazing! When booking our wedding I knew I wanted two photographers and wanted them from Hotel to Venue. John and Maria were great to work with! Definitely masters at their craft! They were very accommodating and worked hard to capture all of the right shots! When it came time to start planning our wedding, picking the best photographer was the most important thing for me! I needed to make sure that the person that we went with were going to do a great job of capturing every special moment of our wedding day! John was very professional from day one and really impressed us when we looked at some of his work. We booked John on the spot! We didn't need to think things through or look at any other photographers after meeting with him. John and Maria did our engagement pictures about a year before our wedding and we loved how the pictures turned out!!! After seeing how our engagement pictures turned out, we knew that we made the right decision with booking John to take our wedding pictures! As we got closer to the wedding, John was responsive to every email that I sent to him asking various questions and he returned every phone call. He was also very helpful with giving us some ideas of local parks for us to look at for taking our wedding pictures. On the day of our wedding, John arrived on time and took full control to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we made it to the church on time.
