We found JM Productions from the preferred vendor list at the Grand Galvez in Galveston. We were looking for both a DJ and a coordinator/planner. At the time, we were probably looking more for the coordinator, and we were a little concerned about being able to afford one. I'm so glad we found Tish! Her coordinating services were impeccable! I can't imagine trying to have our wedding without someone "running the show" on the day-of. We booked the "Diamond Package," which included DJ services, photo booth, day-of coordination, 8 up-lights, and a credit for tablecloths and napkins. (Tish owns a sister company, Affordable Linens and Decor.) We ended up getting additional decor through Tish, including our table overlays, plate chargers, and centerpieces. We also added a personalized monogram gobo light to shine on the dance floor. All-in-all, we were EXTREMELY pleased with the value we got for what we paid. The one-stop shop for all these services was very appreciated. As for the DJ, we had some tricky requests for miking up things. We wanted both grooms and the officiant miked during the ceremony, and at first Jamie wasn't sure he had the necessary equipment, but they made it work. Then, there was the fact that the ceremony and reception at the Galvez were in a split-room configuration, and we wanted to have a speaker in both locations. Again, they sorted that out and made it happen. Very pleased with their flexibility. We pre-selected at least two hours worth of music for the reception, and everything was played like we asked. And, again, I can't say enough good things about Tish and how accommodating she was of all our requests. At the end of the night, she had everything that we needed to take home boxed up and sent to our hotel room with absolutely no stress on our part. Would highly recommend!
We found Tish and Jamie from our vendor and was so pleased with the one stop shop! We hired Jamie as our DJ and Tish for day of coordinating. Everything was literally perfect. Tish was helpful throughout the year with my questions even though she really didn’t need to be. They were professional, easy to get along with and made our day go by with ease. Our vendor provided most of what we needed but any rentals we were able to order throughout JM as well. I would recommend 100 times! 20 out of 10!
I found JM Productions Professional DJ from the venue's preferred vendor list. The "preferred vendor" really meant for a reason because they are great! Both Tish and Jamie were very helpful. They are very professional. They asked many questions and paid attention to details. I'm an Asia; and my family members' names are hard to pronounce. Jamie took the time and learned every single name in order to announce them correctly at the beginning of the reception. I really appreciated it! Highly recommended!
Tish is amazing and she was so helpful when it came to picking it candy jars/dishes, I just told her what candy I was using for the “candy bar” and she had it covered. Jamie was our DJ and he did an amazing job! He even had the older crowd on the dance floor, he was also a big hit with the very few children at our wedding. The photobooth was great because they make you a scrap book of all the photos people take and your guests get to write anything they want it. Let me tell you, it was incredible touching and hilarious to look back at all the pictures. I recommend them 10 out of 10!
Our D.J. was fantastic. We had a string quartet for our ceremony, and they urgently needed some additional equipment. Given very short notice, JM was able to provide this to them so that our ceremony could be perfect.
For our reception, the D.J. played the majority of my playlist and everyone had a great time. Prior to the wedding, they emailed an easy checklist to complete which they later called to review. This showed how organized they were, and that they were dedicated to ensuring the music was just how my husband and I wanted it for our big day.
I can't say enough good things about our experience with them! They were very hands on leading up to the wedding, staying in contact with me to make sure everything we wanted was done. They did an awesome job playing the songs and type of music we requested, and had everyone dancing the whole night! Lots of guests mentioned to us how much fun they had because of the DJ. We also had a photobooth that was such a hit with the guests! I really loved how they helped guide guests off the dance floor to get ready for our big exit, and gave me and the new husband a chance to have one last dance alone. It was so perfect and I would absolutely recommend them for future weddings!
Jamie and Tish did a great job. They read the crowd perfectly. They were also able to replicate our monogram light exactly as requested. I found them at the bridal show. The prices seemed reasonable and it was helpful knowing we were getting a reputable company.
JM Productions/Enjoy Your Day's services were one of the best ways that we spent our wedding budget! We had Tish as our Day-of Coordinator, her husband Jamie as our DJ, and used their photo booth as part of the package. Let me explain the top 3 reasons for using Enjoy Your Day: 1) Tish did an amazing job with providing her day-of wedding expertise, accompanied us to finalize the venue arrangements/timing and location set-up details, and made sure the reception went smoothly. She handled all the mishaps that I knew about (such as the bakery forgetting our cake topper) and the ones I didn't (hopefully there weren't too many of those!). 2) Jamie was a fun and engaging DJ who played the mix of songs that we requested. He also provided purple uplighting, helped oversee the smooth transition of our reception events, and kept the party going. As an extra, he saved the day when our Mariachis & folkloric dance group forgot to bring their own AV equipment. 3) Photo booth was a hit! Our guests absolutely loved it and had loads of fun! The photo strips were a nice keepsake for them, and the memory scrapbook with a copy of all the photos taken were a wonderful keepsake for us! My husband and I had a fabulous time looking over the pictures taken during the night and the written messages our guests left for us. Again, as a surprise perk, we received digital copies of all the photos as well as video messages! Based on these 3 reasons, why would you not choose JM/Enjoy Your Day?
Tish and Craig did a fabulous job for my daughter Sydney's wedding. Many people had advised me to definitely get a wedding coordinator for the day. I took that advise and am so happy that we did! We were all able to focus on enjoying the day because Tish took care of all of the details. She was very easy and pleasant to work with. Sydney and Thomas gave Craig a long list of songs to play. He did not disappoint. I can truly say that it seemed that all of our guests had a terrific time at the wedding. The photo booth was a real hit as well!
James did an amazing job DJing at our wedding!!! He also did my sister’s wedding!!!! Tish did an amazing job as my planner. Thank you for all you did to make our day amazing!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
We were stuck without a DJ for our reception last minute and contacted Tish and Jaime and they were so accommodating. They worked with us to get exactly what we wanted and we ended up getting an awesome photo booth from them also bundled in. Jaime did such a great job DJ'ing, everything was very smooth without any awkward transitions or silences. Because it was so last minute we didn't have a set play list, but we talked about what type of music we did and didn't want and everything he chose was perfect. Would highly recommend.
JM Productions did a fantastic job at our wedding reception! We had Jamie as our DJ and Tish got everything lined up beforehand! We selected songs from the database and they were played! When speaking with Jamie over the phone the week of the wedding, he understood our vision for the night. The reception went smoothly with everyone enjoying themselves and maintaining a packed dance floor! Everyone is still raving about how much fun they had in the photo booth! I would highly recommend JM productions to brides out there looking for a DJ!
We had Craig as our DJ and he was AMAZING! I've never been to a wedding where the dance floor stayed so full! He also accommodated all of my requests for cocktail hour and dinner, and also worked with my violinist for the ceremony!
We also had Tish for day of coordination. She did an excellent job and made everything run smoothly. Talking with her a couple days before took away so much stress! She really did have it all under control!
Jamie and Tish are an AMAZING team. ALL of my guests had such a wonderful time! Jamie kept the reception very up-beat, and really knew how to judge the mood of the crowd. Tish helped me keep it together all afternoon. Could not have done it without her!
BOOK! Jamie was our DJ and he nailed it! He did the music at our ceremony and reception. Tish was our day of coordinator and we absolutely loved her! We will definitely be recommending JM Productions to anyone looking for a DJ or coordinator. They were so easy to work with and got the job done making our special day stress free. The best DJ I have ever worked with! Tish was so nice on the phone helping me out with my wedding and Jamie did an incredible job at the wedding! My husband and I made a playlist for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance floor and they had every song! If you are a couple that knows exactly what songs you want to be played at your wedding this is the DJ for you because they have everything and if they don't they will work to get it. I also purchased the photo booth through them... I was a little hesitant at first but it was such a BIG hit! I am so happy I purchased the booth through them. Jamie and Tish are a great team and made my wedding night so incredibly special!

Tish helped us understand and guide us down the right path in ways that really ensured us they had our best interest in mind. Their price was extremely fair with no hidden charges, and they were extremely flexible throughout the whole process.
Leading up to the event was straight forward and even helped us plan our wedding timeline overall. Their comprehensive spreadsheet allowed us to be very specific what we wanted, and very guiding and yet extremely flexible to make the event exactly how we wanted it. Their music database was easy to work with to create playlists and they definitely used it. If there was a song we wanted and they didn’t have, they were more than happy to get it.
For the actual event, we had our ceremony during the time they were meant to arrive and set up. They did so with ease, and were ready to go without being an intrusion in any way. Things were a little hectic getting everything organized on our end, and we just had to jump right into things without any real face to face coordination with Jamie and Tish, but they handled it great and really took charge in a great way and ensured things went the way we wanted it to. For the music, they did a great job following our playlists created but also using their judgment to read the crowd and play what the room was feeling. As an MC, Jamie had a good feel for the room, was entertaining, directive when needed, and knew how the wedding should flow. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND, almost taking on a coordinator role, helping ensure that the wedding went smoothly, people were where they needed to be, and events happened on time and in order (making suggestions that greatly improved the wedding!).
We decided to go with Tish and Jamie after meeting them ( we met with 5 DJ's) from first day they were very responsive very professional and gave us the best sense of security. Tish made our day magical ever small detail she has it figured out guests after the wedding said the day of coordinator did a great job making all events during the wedding smooth. Jamie was great we couldn't even do our table rounds because everyone was on the dance floor the whole night . The photo booth was a hit and the lighting was awesome . I met Tish at a wedding showcase and hired both Jamie as our DJ and Tish as our day-of-coordinator. We sent Jamie all of our requested songs and paperwork before the wedding. We had very specific songs for our ceremony, including some songs that could only be found on YouTube. I also had a list of songs I absolutely did not want played at our ceremony or reception, including your typical "ice breakers." I was a little nervous about playing such specific songs. I had a great call with Jamie before the wedding and we went over each song, the schedule, even how to pronounce every name in the bridal party. Jamie even came to our rehearsal to make sure everything would be set up correctly since the chapel had a new sound system. The ceremony songs were absolutely perfect. You couldn't even see the DJ in the chapel. Our schedule went perfectly at the reception as well. Jamie was upbeat and I received a lot of compliments on the music and Jamie's good attitude. We got to go on the field at Minute Maid Park to toss the bouquet and garter, and Jamie was even there to count down for the toss and let the guests know what to do. He was there until the last detail when we had our confetti toss exit and he announced our departure. We also had uplights added to our package and gave our reception site a really romantic feel for an affordable cost. If you're looking for an affordable, professional DJ who will make your wedding perfect, fun, and stress free, look no further.
Tish was wonderful as the Day of Planner. She was excellent in handling situations that came up and did it with such calmness and efficiency. She was always one step ahead of what was happening and never alarmed me. I was able to enjoy the evening and relax. Jaime was an excellent DJ and made all announcements and handled the music beautifully and kept the party going. They also went above and beyond in several situations which made the evening wonderful. Thank you so much for everything. I highly recommend them!
Jamie and Tish of JM Productions were wonderful to work with for our wedding at Haak Winery. Utilizing their website to make the song playlist was easy and every song you could want was available.
Jamie orchestrated the whole wedding with his DJ service and making announcements to help the guests know what was going on next, where and when they should go to certain areas.
Their sound system was great and so are they. Thank you guys for making our wedding so much fun and rememorable!
I met my wedding coordinator (Tish) at one of the Houston bridal shows. I like how up-front she was with my mom, fiance, and myself in explaining their services and how they like to approach weddings. She was very straight forward and I knew I needed that for the wedding day. Tish contacted me primarily a month out to start discussing the Day of Planning process. If anything went wrong on my wedding day, I have no clue about it because Tish was great in handling the organization of the entire wedding and reception. I have to give credit to Tish for making everything run so smoothly the day of my wedding!
The owner, Jamie, was our DJ. Absolutely horrible! Do not hire.
While JM Productions played music that had my guests dancing (not a hard feat, we are a dancing group) he let me down in NUMEROUS huge ways.
1. He flat out lied to the wedding planner and said that he had tried to put a mic on our officiant and the officiant had refused. We later asked the officiant about it and Jamie had never approached him to mic him, something we had asked him to do as our ceremony was outdoors. None of our guests heard the ceremony.
2. He didn't play the song we specifically requested him to play as I walked down the aisle. He played random background instrumental music instead of the incredibly special song my husband and I had many a time imagined me walking down the aisle to. No explanation, no warning ahead of time. Just total blatant disregard for what I was paying him to do.
3. He showed up in a polo and casual pants. Not that big of a deal, EXCEPT he specifically asked us on a form he had us fill out what he should wear. We checked the "Suit and Tie" option he provided for us! Still showed up extremely underdressed and stuck out like a sore thumb. Other guests noticed and mentioned it. Embarrassing! More for him than us, but still inappropriate.
4. He played a live version of the song we wanted to have our first dance to. It sounded nothing like the recorded version. How hard is it to play the studio version of a song instead of the live version? The song is everywhere! How hard is that? It was so important to us and definitely not a hard task
5. He approached me, the bride, twice during the course of the wedding, both while I was in the middle of important wedding events, to remind me to post a review about him on WeddingWire. Well, Jamie, you got your wish! Next time I suggest you don't interrupt family prayer time to beg for an online review... How tactless!
Definitely skip this one. What a disappointment. Only dark cloud on our otherwise wonderful wedding day.
We used JM Productions for DJ, lighting, photo booth and day of wedding coordinating. Awesome service from set up to tear down. Could not have been more pleased and couldn't have done it without Tish!
JM Productions Professional DJ Service is more than a DJ Service. We also rented our Photo Booth through them. Our guests loved the props they brought and pictures were being taken all night. My daughter loved, loved the photo album they presented her with the all the pictures that the guests took and funny comments next to each one. It was really cute.
Jamie is an awesome DJ. He not only allows you to choose your "must have" songs, but he throws in some really good ones that we didn't even think about. The dance floor was packed all night and even now, weeks after the wedding, we are still being told how much fun everyone had.
I cannot say enough about our wedding coordinate, Tish. I don't know what I would have done without her. From the beginning when we first met, she was so helpful, guiding us through the whole process. She listened intently to what was important to my daughter and I, and she delivered on all of them. She had so many suggestions that we hadn't even thought about. On the night of the reception, she was always one step ahead of us. Every time I looked up, she was already getting done what I knew needed to get done at that moment. She was instrumental in helping us with the perfect time-line that made the whole evening flow so smoothly. She was kind and courteous to our guests and worked so well with the other vendors. I HIGHLY recommend Tish as your wedding coordinator if you want to enjoy your night without having to worry about a thing!!!
We used JM Productions for my daughter's wedding in June. I was very impressed with their professionalism and commitment to make this event run smoothly with no problems. Tish is a great coordinator and highly recommend her services. The DJ was great and accommodated every request we had. The photo booth was a big hit with our guests and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Very professional group to work with. The DJ, Craig was awesome. He kept everything on schedule. The dinner music was very appropriate and the after dinner dance music was exactly what the bride and groom requested. It has been a month since the wedding and we are still getting compliments on the night and how much fun it was. The dance floor stayed packed with all ages and the night flew by. The photo booth was a hit and I know my daughter and son in law really enjoyed getting the book and. Seeing everyone that left them a message and all the photos. I would highly recommend this vendor, it was money well spent. If you have to budget, I would recommend not budgeting down your DJ because people are going to remember the food and the music.
They really worked with us at the beginning when we first booked them. The only thing I did not care for was that we did not receive a phone call from the actual DJ until 2 days before the wedding day. He did play all the songs we requested which was good and stuck with our timeline. We did ask for some icebreakers; however, there were no fun icebreaker games.
JM productions was great!! We used their DJ and photo booth services. They were so helpful, always responsive, and made my wedding the best party anyone had ever been to! The photo booth props and operator were all wonderful! Would suggest them to everyone!
Dj was great announcing was going on during the reception (cake cutting, father dances etc,) but he did not keep the dance floor going. We asked for top 40 music and we got old music nobody wanted to dance to. Even after I asked him twice that I know of, to pick up the tempo because the dance floor was empty. He did not engage the crowd as I have seen other DJs do. We have received several comments about how beautiful the venue, decorations and wedding ceremony were but they wished the DJ would have been better. And I have to agree.
Everything about our DJ Jamie was great! He personally called us to go over any questions and personal details we had for the wedding. We also used their Photo booth service and loved it! Our guest really enjoyed using the photo booth. You will not regret booking !!
Photo booth came with a photo strip book we get to keep with a zip drive! Each guest got to keep their photos and use a variety of cute props. We chose a spotlight of our names on the dance floor that turned out beautiful! Great job! very happy Bride and Groom.

We loved the DJ service but Jamie and Tish are more than just that! Tish provided great information and ideas for our table linens and our jars for the candy buffet. The photo booth was such a great hit! Everyone loved it and the bride and groom really have enjoyed their keepsake photo album.
We used this lovely couple in 2005 when our daughter got married and we gladly called them again when our son got married this year! If we had more children, we would use them again! We will definitely call again when we have another event in the future.
This is a great company! I mainly dealt with Tish via phone and email for scheduling and pricing. She was very accepting of or payment plan which fluctuated month to month. Tish is such a nice person and was very helpful in helping us decide on which package to choose. Our ceremony DJ was James. It was great working with James during our planning phase. He was always available to communicate via text, email, or phone. He had a great vision of what we wanted and our wedding went flawlessly. I'm sure all of their DJ's are as professional as James. GREAT company overall !!!!
We used JM Productions for our DJ & Photo Booth needs at my daughter's wedding in March & everything went GREAT. James did a wonderful job keeping the guests involved and the music choices were wonderful. I loved the way he introduced the father/daughter dance! I can't say enough good things about him & JM Productions, we were uncertain how much time we would want/need and they made it very easy to extend the time the night of the wedding which we appreciated so much! The Photo Both was a big hit as well they had a ton of props and everyone had so much fun dressing up & taking pictures!

Our DJ was Jamie. He was wonderful. He knew how to work the crowd, when to change music just by watching our guest. Terrific DJ. He was also very helpful even when my Scottish in-laws had some odd request.
The Photobooth was great. The attendants were very nice and helped my guest taken fun photos and leave us great memories.
Even though the DJ and Photobooth were amazing the star of the show was my day coordinator Tish. I had very detailed request which she accomplished and still managed to sincerely smile at me. Tish is also a lifesaver. I arrived to the venue 30 minutes late torn between tears and throttling my mother and/or a bridesmaid, but Tish didn't miss a beat. The moment she realized the bride was upset and hadn't been taken care of she immediately worked to smooth things over. She made sure everything else was running smoothly and if it wasn't, she worked to fix it or tactfully do something with it so I wouldn't be more stressed out. She made sure we had water during pictures. She kept my mother away from me. She even helped bustle my dress.
Tish helped FIX my wedding day. It probably didn't take moving mountains to fix, but to a worn-out bride it was a miracle. So thankful for Tish. Even though the venue coordinator was great, I don't think things would have gone as well without her.
Again so thankful for Tish.
Jaime of JM Productions is professional, prompt, and provided perfect service. I highly recommend him. He stuck to my playlist despite my unusual choices of mostly indie dance songs. It turned out amazingly well-- everyone was on the dance floor. I couldn't have been happier! I received lots of compliments on the music.
Their site is easy to use and allows you to create a playlist from a vast music database. (Jaimie will download requested songs that aren't in his database.) This way I could pick exactly what I wanted. I had a specific "do play" list rather than a "do not play" list. I bit controlling of me, I know, but I'm particular about my music and have an idea of what works with my group of friends.
However, if you'd rather provide genre guidelines, that's fine too. It's whatever you want him to play. You can give him free reign or stipulate every single song of the night. The most important thing is he sticks to what you've requested.
Our DJ Craig was a delight to work with! Our reception turned out way more fun than we could have imagined, and I think it was due in large part to Craig's professionalism and skill as a DJ and announcer. He got our guests dancing, something which I am sure was also helped by crazier members of our wedding party, but also because Craig knew when to liven things up! I have really good memories of watching all our loved ones dancing that I will keep forever. My husband said he was even shocked to see my father-in-law dancing! Overall, a fantastic experience!
I was very pleased with JM Productions. They are good at keeping communication with their customers which was important to me. (I actually almost went with another company but they were terrible about getting back to me and that was NOT going to work. NO way was I going to risk something going wrong on my big day.) I am huge music person and this was the most important part of the reception for me. Although it wasn't required, I made the list of songs I wanted for the 4 hour time frame, in the order I wanted them played (yes, I'm very particular!) and Jamie was totally fine with this. He even called me a week or 2 before the wedding to make sure of any notes he needed to make on when certain songs should be played and make sure everything was timed out perfectly. We ended up having time for a few extra songs throughout the night and he came up to ME and asked which ones I would like played, which I really liked. We also used the photobooth service and loved it. We used the smaller booth so it would fit in the room the reception was in. Sometimes the large booths are placed off in another room and people forget about them so I am really glad we had the smaller one and everyone got to enjoy it and knew it was there! Overall great experience with JM Productions. :)
JM Productions did a great job! We hired them for the DJ, lighting, photo booth and coordinator. They both were wonderful! The DJ was awesome he had the entire room up and dancing, which is exactly what we wanted. He played all the music we like and more! I would recommend this company to anyone I know who is getting married!!
My fiance (now husband!) and I debated if we should have a DJ or not. We thought we might just use an ipod, hook it up to a speaker and be good to go. We are so very glad that we decided to book a DJ, AND that we booked JM Productions! Our DJ was David, who was so great! He helped avoid a potentially awkward and uncomfortable situation for us when a family member requested a special dance. Instead of just listening to the family member, he came and found me and was able to keep things the way we'd wanted them. Helped take a lot of stress away! His wife, Lina, also took some pictures throughout the day, and shared them fairly quickly! As professional pics take a while to get back, it was so nice to have them to share with family and friends who couldn't be there.
So, if you're on the fence about having a DJ on your special day, do it! Although our funds were limited, JM Productions was a good value and added so much to our wedding day!
I was recommended by a family member to Hire Jamie as my DJ an his wife Tish as my day of coordinator. This was possibly one of the best decisions I made during my whole planning process.
Tish was AMAZING I would have never been able to make it happen without her. I actually had a member of my family that was supposed to walk down the isle not show up and she took care of it and I didn't even notice it happened until after the ceremony. During the setup and reception Tish was there to intercept all the questions that would have stressed me out even more than normal. At the end of the day My husband and I sat down to take a breather and the first thing he said to me was "We wouldn't have been able to pull this off without Tish" She made sure we were fed and we always had a drink in our hand. The ceremony was outside and it was HOT! After we got inside she grabbed my dress to pin it and then she fanned me LOL. My husband had actually sweat through his suit it was so hot and she allowed him to go upstairs to the hotel room and change. I was so stressed out he wasn't gonna make it back in time for the introduction. She made sure that he was back in time and had us meeting to walk in together. Like I said... she was PERFECT
Jamie was FANTASTIC! I gave him some music and he ran with it. It was perfect! We danced the afternoon away to amazing music and by the end of the night everyone was wanting his information. He was able to time everything so well with the short amount of time we had. He played all the music I requested and more. We forgot about some of the music and when it played it made the experience that much more magical. He coordinated with Tish the whole time so we were always on schedule despite the fact the family bombards you with pictures and wanting to speak with you.
All in all everything was amazing and I have absolutely NO complaints. They made my day that much more perfect and I LOVE them =)
JM Productions was very professional and outgoing! They were great about keeping the party moving and keeping everything on schedule!! The music selection is up to you and they do a great job communicating and coordinating your favorite songs together so your day can be the absolute perfect day!! We paid the extra money to get the Experienced DJ and were disappointed our experience did not live up to prior reviews. Prior to the reception, I saw the DJ do a dry run of our photo slideshow; however, when the time came to play it during our reception, the top half of the pictures were cut off and the music wasn’t loud enough. I thought someone would fix it, but eventually, I had to send my MOH to find someone to correct the problem.
After looking at pictures, I noticed the attire worn by the DJ was not what we had requested in our planning sheet. We selected the “wear a suit” option, but in pictures I can see he’s wearing a bright blue polo shirt. The attire and atmosphere of our wedding was formal/classy, which is why we specified in their planning sheet the DJ wear a suit... I also experienced on 2 separate occasions (not sure how many others may have experienced this) when I tried to request a song only to receive “are you sure” as a response. The songs weren’t vulgar, one was a swing dance song; however, he did end up playing the songs. And while the song selections at the beginning/middle of the night weren’t the best/most upbeat, it eventually picked up by the nights end.
I knew our guests were dancers so the DJ's job wasn't going to be too hard, but even so Jamie was amazing! So many guests came up to me during and after the reception asking who the DJ was - they loved him! He really kept us on track and I didn't even provide him with a timeline. It was great not having to worry about when to do what - he just took care of it all.
His planning sheets were great - they were detailed enough that we never even met in person. We spoke over the phone once and he knew exactly what we wanted.
Another plus - they provided our uplights! I really didn't know what I was doing there - I just knew we needed some extra lights. I told him our wedding colors and they suggested the lighting color and took care of where to place them throughout the venue. I would definitely use them again!
JM productions was absolutely amazing! We paid a little extra to have one of the owners as the DJ instead of staff, and he was awesome! We had a lot of songs that we specifically wanted to hear/not hear, and he definitely listened and played what we wanted. We did mostly country love songs during dinner but kicked it up to more Top 40 etc later, and he had everyone singing along and dancing! I definitely am happy with my choice. He responded on time to emails and phone calls and wasn't afraid to ask questions and give advice to make sure we really got what we wanted!
I am very pleased with the crew of JM Productions! He played a great variety of music that my guests enjoyed. He followed the schedule and definitely felt out the vibe of the crowd! Very happy!
Our DJ was David and he was great! We gave him the leeway to play whatever would keep the party going and he did exactly that. The dance floor was always full and everyone commented on what a fun and varied mix of music he played. He also did the ceremony music which was very well timed and at the perfect volume (a challenge since we had a fountain in the background). My only complaint was that it was hard to get the company to respond to my emails in the months prior to the wedding, but on the day of I couldn't have been more pleased!
We had a great experience with JM Productions. I met his wife Tish at a bridal show and liked her so much that I decided to book both her husband to be our DJ and for Tish to be our Day of Coordinator. I would recommend this to anyone. It was so nice having both of them there to run our wedding. Jamie played great music and really worked to keep the guests dancing and entertained.

Jamie and Tish are awesome! They are so easy to work with and you can trust that they have everything under control. We simply told Jamie that we wanted a certain mix of music and he took care of the rest. Everyone was dancing all night long and we've gotten so many compliments on how great they both were at our wedding. Tish handled all of my questions leading up to the wedding and took care of our photo booth, which was SUCH a hit! At one point I felt like everyone was either in the photo booth or dancing...such a perfect reception and we owe it all to Tish and Jamie! I would recommend JM Productions to any Houston bride!
They kept the party going! I ordered the owners package and they kept us on schedule dispute us running late. Great great value!
I had James as a DJ. I originally requested the owner and ironically enough, she was already committed to a wedding at the same hotel I had my wedding at! We were down the hall from each other! Anyways, the owner even came by to see how it was going, but it was great! James did an awesome job! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night! There were songs we requested that we actually wanted to be able to dance to with our friends and when he saw we finally made it to the dance floor (after pictures and all else), he had those songs on! It was great! He even saved us from an embarrassing exit. The hotel was taking us away to exit and he noticed the town car wasn't even there yet! LOL! THANK YOU JAMES!! He was a wonderful DJ and I would recommend him and this company to everyone! Especially if they want a fun DJ that isn't cheesy. I would give him an idea of what you want, but let him have the last decision. He did a wonderful job!!! :) So happy that everyone had fun and it wasn't a lame/cheesy party!!
I chose JM productions for both linens and DJ services for my wedding. I went with the owner's package and so glad that I did! Jamie and Tish both did such an excellent job. The linens were gorgeous and Tish was very easy to get a hold of and work with!
Jamie was an amazing DJ...especially with how high maintenance my family was during the evening...my dad gave him CD's to play and Jamie wouldn't do anything until getting the OK from me first, which I appreciated so much and it made things go a lot smoother!!
It was great knowing that our wedding was in the hands of professionals!! Also--I booked them while I was out of state...Tish made that process so easy and stress free as well!

We found DJ-JM Productions at the Houston Wedding Extravaganza and LOVED the quality, service and variety of music. Our wedding was absolutely wonderful and we owe it all to the DJ for playing music everyone to dance to and enjoy. Ask for Craig!!
I do not even know where to begin in explaining the EXCELLENT job Jamie and wife Tish did as our DJ for our wedding at The Gallery on 11/4/11. They went above and beyond our expectations, and I cannot count how many guests came up to us that night and since and said our wedding BY FAR was the most fun they have ever been to. We all know that kudos primarily belongs to the person providing the music and Master of Ceremony, or in other words, JM Productions!
My husband and I knew one thing when we met Jamie and Tish in person a couple weeks before the wedding: we did not want to typical cheesy wedding music at our wedding. But other than that, we provided little guidance (at least compared to typical wedding couples, I'm sure). However, just from that brief meeting, I felt like they just "got" us and understood what we wanted from the few requests we made for music selection. The music Jamie provided the entire night was PERFECT and was a perfect balance of slow, hip hop, fast, 80s, classic, etc - everything we wanted! Even the events that we did not select a song for(bouquet/garter toss, etc) they did a great job with! I don't remember the dance floor being empty one minute. I know I hardly left it at all!
And Tish was a GODSEND that night! I cannot believe we got such an amazing two-in-one deal! We did not know for sure we were getting them BOTH on wedding day, and we are SO happy we did. She always had an eye on everything, I could tell, like a fly on the wall, but she made sure the music was to our liking, she relayed to Jamie any requests we had, and she was just there so unobtrusively yet so observant to everything happening....she was a GODSEND!
Our schedule stayed on track perfectly, nothing felt rushed, there was not a single time that I remember where our dance floor was empty, and they listened to exactly what we wanted and executed it!
I can absolutely see why they are a "preferred" vendor of our venue. They certainly make an incredible duo!
We could not have asked for a better DJ than Jamie and Tish. They were so easy to work with and made our wedding day flow worry free. They were so courteous and never rushed us. Last minute changes were not a problem and my father in law said that the DJ was his favorite part! They used creative ways to break the ice and get people on the dance floor, felt the vibe of the crowd, and played everything we asked for. Our wedding was completely outdoors on a ranch, and all they needed was one plug to hook up all their equipment. We got the top package, but they went above and beyond what we expected. Excellent choice and I know our family will use them for every event we need from now on :)
David did a good job with the very random genres we gave him (hip hop, oldies, country, tejano, salsa, etc), as well as really getting the crowd into some dances.
We had expected a little more interaction, fading between songs, and lighting (this was a separate package we didn't want to pay for).
But overall it was a fun night, no hitches.
I had Jamie as our DJ. He did a very nice job. Took requests appropriately and conducted himself professionally. He knew what our timeline was and didn't interfere with us unless he absolutely needed a question answered.
My only complaint is that he took a little while to read the room. We asked him to play a little country, among other music and he played a little too much country, causing the dance floor to temporarily empty. Once he transitioned into some younger stuff -- a little old school hip-hop, things went really well and everyone was back out there though.
I wished we could have gone on another hour (my friends LOVE to dance), but it was time to end because my wife's feet hurt so badly she needed to get out of her shoes. Jamie dealt with announcing us as a couple very well and we had an excellent exit. Overall, we had a really good experience with JM productions.
I think maybe because we talked a lot about oldies and country, despite having a music selection open to other things, he thought he needed to focus on them more than he did, so I can't fault him too much for taking a little while to transition out of them.
I had a blast at my wedding due to JM Productions! They were amazing in every way. Jaime played any and everything I wanted to hear and more...He really knew how to keep the party going. I also has the Wii set up which was awesome for all the guests!
James was our DJ for our July wedding, and we could not have been happier with him! From the moment our ceremony ended, James was there ready to serve us! He even met us at the alter with glasses of water for us! The music was exactly what we wanted and the dancing lasted the entire reception. Everyone loved the songs, and we were so pleased with how well he listened to our requests. Everything was perfect!
I have to say that I was really nervous because I never met them before the wedding, but they not only show up, they were nice, flexible, helpful, willing to make last minute changes, the only reason i took an star away is because they didn't play all the songs in my playing list, and they forgot the anniversary dance. But other than that they were great!!!
Working with JM was a great experience. David was friendly but not obtrusive during our reception and played appropriate music during dinner, festivities, and dancing. Received many compliments on the quality of the DJ work. Thanks!
We were so happy with Jm Productions and DJ Services. Tish and Jaime (owners) were so helpful and available through our entire planning process. Their prices are so reasonable... of course once we got to know them, we added on services that made our day even better. The price noted was for DJ services for 5 hours. Not only were they our DJ, but they provided chair covers and sashes, chargers and linens, uplighting, dance floor lights, day -of consultant services. I also loved that Jaime was the 'master of ceremonies", so to speak. Our guests were always aware of events taking place throughout the reception. The whole day flowed so nicely and we believe its because they took the reigns. Even though we picked the genres of music, they sure did a good job of mixing it up and making sure our guests got out there on the floor. What a beautiful wedding! What a blessing it was to enjoy it! If you are the kind of person who wants to enjoy and remember your day rather than playing coordinator while trying to enjoy your big day... talk to Tish and Jaime at JM Productions and DJ Services.
Trish and Jamie at JM Productions were so easy to work with. We communicated solely through email which was convenient on both sides and they are incredibly laid-back, yet professional. The DJ we were assigned, David, was awesome at the reception!! He kept the pace and flow of the reception so smooth and had a great, outgoing personality. JM Productions provided easy to use forms to help us with song choices, which is so helpful for an already stressed out bride. When our day arrived, our dj was prompt and very professional. He played every song we requested and more. He had almost everyone on the dance floor. I still have friends that continue to tell me how much fun they had at our wedding. Our wedding reception would not have been a success without our friends at JM Productions. Having a dj is a must, I didn't think so at first, but now I am so relieved my intelligent hubby talked me into it. Well worth the money. Thanks Jamie!
Our reception was a blast, thanks to JM Productions! I gave a long list of requests and they worked everything in and added in a ton of music that fit right in with our eclectic taste. Not only did they do an amazing job as DJ, Tish coordinated our day-of activities helping us with timing and making sure everything was taken care of. Overall, they are excellent at their jobs and a pleasure to work with.

JM Productions not only was our DJ, but they also provided the uplighting for our reception. Our DJ was James and he was great! We told him exactly what we did/didn't want, and he really stuck to it.
JM Productions and their fabulous DJ's were the BEST choice for our wedding. From start to finish the DJ's were on top of everything - they knew our wedding schedule, the transitions were right on, and most of all they knew our personalities and our guests personalities to a tee. Above all, that's what makes a good DJ. We filled out their "pre wedding checklist" about 3 weeks before and we had made some very special requests (i.e. Bolivian cultural music, very non-traditional ceremony music, etc.) and they worked all of them in seamlessly. Seriously, the DJ made our wedding one of the most fun we could have asked for. We gave them a list of 10 songs we wanted them to play, and they played all of them plus songs that really fit into what we already had listed. They basically made a playlist that really reflected our music tastes. People danced the entire night!
During the reception, they're style of DJ'ing was laid-back yet you could tell they were there to get everybody excited and dancing. They were just perfect.
The biggest compliment I could give them or say about them was that we had several people ask us if they could have the "soundtrack" to our wedding. That's how spot on they were and we could not have been happier. It was the best and greatest party of our lives!
Jamie and Tish were wonderful to work with! Jamie chose music that was a great mix for the wide range of musical preferences represented by our guests- we have received nothing but positive feedback from our guests! He was able to get a great feel for our guests and was not pushy or obnoxious like I have experienced from DJs at so many other weddings. We feel like we made a wonderful decision using JM Productions for our wedding and highly recommend their services!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! I would HIGHLY recommend JM Productions for any DJ services that are needed. Tish and Craig were fabulous! Not only did they keep everything on schedule with our reception but they played all of the music that we had agreed on. Jamie and Tish even met us after work, to accommodate our schedules, to discuss all the song selections and necessary information for the reception. The evening of the reception was just as we had discussed. Knowing that they were so on top of everything allowed me to really enjoy the evening with family and guest. JM Productions made the process of ceremony and reception music so simple. I really dreaded this and they had all of the customizable templates that made everything so easy! I would highly suggest anyone looking for a DJ to call them!
JM productions, did both the ceremony and my reception for 500.00! they were awesome. Jamie,and wife Tish, were a great team, they were so professional, and really knew what they were doing, they kept the dance floor full at a Sunday 12-4pm valentines day wedding! We had such a great time, and all the selections I chose were played, and more! I will use them for whatever event I have in the future. Great value too!!
We went with JM based on online reviews, and we were completely thrilled with the results! Our musical taste is a little offbeat, so we sent them a CD a month before the wedding and everything went perfectly. Tish was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions. David was our DJ and he did a fantastic job getting people on the dance floor and keeping them there. I was afraid that our DJ would come across as cheesy, but he didn't at all. They arrived on time and were familiar with all of our special requests, so we have no complaints. Our guests had a ton of fun, and so did we!
He didn't have to version of our song we wanted for our first dance, but he searched high and low and eventually found it!!;You need to be SPECIFIC on what you want played during the reception even though you fill out a questionaire about your musical tastes!
