Josh and Mikala are THE BEST husband & wife photography duo!! I originally stumbled across their page on Instagram while looking for Houston photographers, and I'm SO glad I booke...
d them! They maintain great communication from inquiry all the way to your wedding day, and are very professional. Josh and Mikala both have amazing energy and will make you feel super comfortable in front of the camera. They shot our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our wedding day (which was all included in a very affordable package). We had several creative ideas for our photos prior to booking, and they were very accommodating when we made suggestions. On our wedding day, they were very organized and made sure to stay on schedule!! If you're looking for high-quality, professional photos and a photo team that is very personable, JMG is the way to go :)
Where do I even begin... We got married in December of 2018, and we had everything planned out by July. Ladies and Gents!!! ALWAYS have a Plan B! Our photographer had backed out on...
us at the last minute (a few weeks before the big day), and we scrambled around to find another photographer. That's when JMG Photography came in. They were somehow available on the date of our event, and we were so THANKFUL.. and still are! Mikala and Josh are amazing and OH SO PATIENT with us. My mother is a hard pleaser, but she has nothing but kind words to express how much she enjoyed their work during the event. Mikala helped us make a timeline for the event, and worked out all the kinks with me! When they came in for the event though, it was complete chaos. We were running behind, but guess what? Both Josh and Mikala were flexible and managed to help us get through. Throughout the event, they both kept their cool and made sure that our guests looked their best for pictures. Josh consistently kept an eye on everyone's posture and appearance. THAT is so important, because I have met photographers who do not care much about that, and just snap the picture for an easy dollar. We haven't received our photos yet, but we are so excited to get them! Mikala and Josh have posted a few shots from our big day on their Instagram account, and they are beautiful! I could honestly rave about this couple for days. They exceeded our expectations.
