I can't say enough positive things about Josh! My husband and I got married in May 2018 and he was so easy to work with from the very beginning. He was very quick to return emails...
or phone calls, very accommodating to our pre - wedding visit and SO friendly. He arrived early on the wedding day and was extremely professional and very easy going. He knew the perfect pictures to take and I couldn't of imagined a better photographer. I HIGHLY recommend him for weddings or any occasion! Josh is the best!
For years I have admired his photography. I can spot a “Josh Mott” instantly! I love the way he can capture a seemingly ordinary object, a pet, or person and bring to life the extr...
aordinary. More recently I had the privilege to have my own session with him and was blown away by his laser focus, fun, creativity, and ability to get such great shots from someone who has not been typically photogenic...ever (lol). It was such a joy to work with him! I recommend him to everyone!
Josh is a wonderful photographer! He was so helpful and creative through the planning all the way up to the actual day! He was very nice and soooo easy to work with! He was on time...
and even went out of his way to make my big day as special as it could be! Josh was more than happy to work with our day of schedule, and he made everyone feel comfortable while we were taking photos. The photos he captured from our big day are gorgeous and I am so happy I chose him to photograph our wedding! He has a great eye for lighting and great ideas for shots that come out perfect! Thank you so much Josh for making the memories of our wedding last forever!!
Josh took a candid of our son sitting in my lap before the ceremony that is my favorite. I thought that photo showed his talent. He also suggested photos outside on the church gr...
ounds, and those pictures are the best ones of us. We are a non-traditional couple, and Josh never treated us any differently the he would have treated a traditional couple. We loved him!
I recommend Josh as your photograher for any event! For our engagement photos we had to reschedule with him last minute due to the weather and he was totally flexible with us to li...
ne up our schedules. After our engagements he sent me a link for the photos the very next day!! I had so much fun for my bridals! He made me feel comfortable even though I hate taking photos by myself. For our wedding he stayed past his time just to get extra photos for us and he was leaving for a family vacation the next day! I mean his work speaks for itself and it was such a pleasure working with him! I had so many compliments on my engagement, bridal, and wedding photos. When we are ready for children he will be doing our maternity photos and newborns and family photos! Hands down the search is over this is your guy!!!
Josh was very professional and easy to work with. When we met for our consultation I had a few crazy ideas for my bridal session. He was not only able to bring them to life for me,...
but they exceeded my expectations. During the wedding day him and his second photographer were very professional. They not only captured the traditional pictures but also all of the emotions of the day. Looking back on my wedding day, he was the easiest vendor to contact/work with and I have the most amazing pictures.
Josh has been photographing my family for quite some time now and I have never had a bad experience with him. He is very professional and has great suggestions for locations, ligh...
ting, posing etc. His wedding photo gallery has some absolutely stunning pictures. I recommend that anyone getting married make an appointment with him, you will surely hire him after you meet him.

Josh is one of those photographers that is just incredibly intuitive. He understood who we were as a couple, and was very enthusiastic about us including our dogs in our engagement...
photos. He is professional, has a great eye, and is very flexible. He did a beautiful job and I can’t wait to see how our wedding photos turn out!
As mom of the bride, I enjoyed Josh very much. Not only does he have a great eye for photos, but he disappears into the background and gets some great shots. He is great to work w...
ith--so much so that he was photographer for both of my daughters. One a formal wedding, the other in a park. The pictures from both events are beautiful. Highly recommend!!
I met Joshua at a bridal expo in Mandeville and knew immediately he would be our photographer. It was one of the gut feelings I had about the wedding day and I knew it was the rig...
ht one. He shot my bridals at the LSU Rural Life Museum, despite never having been there before, and did a great job contrasting the modern look of a bride with the historical architecture and land. On our wedding day, he captured incredible pictures I continue to look back at. He even fell while running backwards during our sparkler tunnel and took it like a champ - as he said, he had to save the camera, and his pictures are all great! Two years later, he was able to shoot my sister's casual nuptials in Louis Armstrong Park at a moment's notice (on a Friday), and all of these pictures turned out equally as good. He has a great eye for photography and capturing things he knows you'll like, as well as listening to you and capturing exactly what you need. He is amazing and talented, affordable, and so easy to work with. I recommend Joshua to everyone despite your style. He will make it work for you and you won't regret it!
Our photos are nothing short of astonishing. Joshua was on time and ready to start shooting immediately, he had creative ideas for photos, and captured once in a lifetime moments b...

I highly recommend this photographer for any event. You will be elated with his photography.
This was my first time planning a wedding in a long time (my daughter's) and Josh was great! Very professional and photos were very nice!

d fun. He was very professional with the way he does everything and made sure he got any special requested shots we wanted. He also got our photos back to us in a timely manner and every single photo came out beautiful! I highly recommend him for not just weddings but any special occasion!
We had a wonderful experience with Josh, who photographed our two-year anniversary pictures! My husband does not love getting his picture taken, but Josh was able to make the exper...
ience fun and easy, while still remaining incredibly professional. He suggested a great location and took a nice variety of angles and shots (posed and candid - classic and out-of-the-box), and his editing produced beautiful, natural looking photos. To this day, they are some of my favorite pictures of us. I would highly recommend JMott Photography for any of your photo needs!
