Our parents’ floral boutonnieres and corsages were limp when they arrived, and falling apart by the ceremony a few hours later. The two eight foot garlands we had discussed at our consultation through pictures and in person for my ceremony and entrance table became two foot garlands. Without the decorations I had brought, I would have had a single two foot garland on a six foot table. I wish I had been consulted about these things before my wedding day – I understand that floral arrangements are subject to availability, but I would have happily switched up my floral look to have a more robust arrangement. Make sure you maintain communication in the days before your event to ensure you are getting what you paid for – given the investment, it’s important to understand what you can and cannot achieve.

To highlight even more Joanne's level of service, we realized after she had delivered the boutonnieres that we were one short- our oversight. We had added an additional groomsman late in the game and forgot to update her. She made a detour to her shop, made up another boutonniere and went back to the hotel to deliver it. r a list of flowers I didn't like, so she would know not to use them! Once she gave me that starting point, I went home and googled bouquets, boutonnieres and everything else wedding flower related. Joanne does amazing work when left to her own creativity, as you can see on her website, but being a slight control freak, I emailed her a list of the specific flowers and the color palette I wanted for everything. We emailed back and forth for several months and she was very accommodating about revisions and add-ons, always very timely about getting me a revised quote! I was adding on flowers for the aisle a few weeks before the wedding (cause I completely forgot about needing them!) and she was very enthusiastic about letting me know it was not a problem and not to stress! Come the day of the wedding, the flowers were gorgeous, exactly what I had envisioned. The tables looked gorgeous - I didn't do a traditional centerpiece, but rather single flower antique bottles down the center of farm tables. Someone told me after that during set-up she was going around to everything like a perfectionist, saying that she wanted to make sure my vision was realized... and it was! The flowers were stunning and everything was exactly how I pictured it in my head. I can't say enough great things about her work. She really went above and beyond to help make my dream wedding a reality! I highly recommend her and am thankful that she's local so I can continue ordering flowers from her!

She pinned corsages and brought the bouquets to the bride and her attendants. She created a beautiful pomander ball for the flower girl and an elegant wrist corsage with a rhinestone bracelet for the MOB. Joanne also arranged a gorgeous toss bouquet. We had a wonderful experience with Joanne; she gives attention to detail and is very professional. n my personal aesthetic. I also was looking for floral arrangements that would be different than the generic stuff you see at every wedding. Joanne gave me exactly that and more. I asked for two giant arrangements in the shape of a J and A (our first initials) – she did it. I was changing the amounts, sizes, and style of the arrangements days before my wedding – no problem. She even suggested that I include an orchid tucked into a napkin at each place setting in lieu of a menu card, something that I had never seen done before and loved! Through every step of the process, she was enthusiastic but always left the final say up to me. She was also clear about what she was thinking and what flowers she suggested we use, and also urged me to go with what I wanted. She was also very responsive to my emails and questions, which were honestly quite numerous in the weeks leading up to my wedding. She was professional, kind, and engaged through every step of the process. All of this great service for very a reasonable price. I highly recommend Joanne!

Some background: less than 2 weeks before my Labor Day weekend wedding at the Boston Public Library, I found myself in need of a new florist, after the one I hired turned into a complete disaster. After seeing an truly horrible centerpiece sample; and then being told by this much bigger, more established/longstanding business that none of the common, seasonal flowers I had requested would be available after all (it became very clear they never intended to give me what I wanted), I was upset, confused and desperate. I didn't know where to turn, but I knew that I needed a new plan. With less than 10 days to go, Joanne took on my case with confidence and enthusiasm. She listened carefully to me and what I wanted, confirmed that she could in fact get all of the flowers, in the colors I specified, and added many new, unique ideas to everything (e.g., small arrangements with special treats for the kids, LED votive candles for the tables, acrylic gels for the lights in a shade to complement the flowers). The flowers were absolutely beautiful—exactly what I had pictured except better! And somehow, she made it all look so easy. Knowing she was in control was a much-needed comfort and allowed me to focus my attention on the wedding itself. :-) It is no exaggeration to say that Joanne saved the day, and I remain ever grateful to her! She is simply the best!!!
