e did an engagement shoot first, and Jo immediately made us feel comfortable and have fun with it—which was a huge relief for two people who initially felt awkward in front of the camera. We didn't want everything to feel overly posed, and it didn't at all; she did such a great job directing us in a way that captured our natural interactions.  When it was time to plan our wedding, Jo went above and beyond with communication. We spoke multiple times leading up to the big day, and she even met us at our neighborhood coffee shop to run through the final shot list. On the day itself, she was a calming presence and captured everything beautifully—she felt more like a supportive friend than a vendor.  We told Jo from the very start that our number one priority was to not feel rushed; she did an incredible job crafting a timeline that allowed the day to breathe while still capturing every moment. Her efficiency afterward was also amazing: we received a "first look" within 48 hours (just as we were touching down in Italy for our honeymoon!) and the full gallery just a few weeks later.  If you're looking for someone who can truly capture the vibe of your day and make the process stress-free, Jo is the absolute best in the business. The final photos are beyond incredible. We wanted photos that were timeless, natural, and told a compelling, emotional story, and that's exactly what she delivered. We can't recommend Jo enough.

She was always communicative, kind, and happy to answer questions throughout the planning process. On our big day, Jo was a complete pro who brought a profoundly calming presence. She made everyone feel incredibly at ease, working tirelessly and with remarkable generosity to ensure she captured every shot we had hoped for and so much more!! Beyond her incredible talent behind the camera, Jo proved to be an expert at navigating family dynamics with grace, making everyone feel comfortable and cooperative in our requested shots. We were also so impressed with her skill when it came to our dogs where she effortlessly managed to get them to pose for portraits, creating some of our most cherished and fun memories of the day. By the end of the day, Jo felt less like a vendor and more like a reliable friend—someone we could trust completely to not only document our day but also to make it a more fun and stress-free experience. We’ve only seen our sneak peeks so far, and we’re already obsessed. If you’re getting married, call Jo first! I promise you won’t regret it.

ight before, an outdoor ceremony with variable weather, a large amount of people (~200 people), live music, and a silent disco afterparty. Not only did Jo capture every aspect of the best weekend of our lives with incredible quality, she was also so much fun to be around! Our families kept asking us if she was a close friend, because she brought such a fun-loving and calm vibe to a day that had the potential to be quite stressful. Jo is an immensely talented photographer. She captures emotions in a beautifully vivid way. We were so excited when she told us she liked to work with film as well as digital - and she uses both mediums to the fullest of their abilities. When we got our photos back, our minds were blown. She captured the big moments and the small ones, the laughter, the tears, the dancing, the general vibe of the weekend so incredibly well. And the amount of photos we got was insane! I still don't think I have looked through all of them, there are so many. She has an awesome website for the photos that is sectioned into different categories as well as gives you the ability to save your favorites. She was super communicative throughout the months leading up to the wedding, and gave us lots of helpful questionnaires to fill out so that we could communicate what we wanted - and she fulfilled our requests and more! She also took the time to meet up with us in person beforehand, which I loved as it helped us to get to know her better. All in all, if you are looking for a wedding photographer - Jo is truly the best!
