ctations. The pictures that we got back were absolutely jaw-dropping. We could not have asked for a more amazing, sweet, and kind person to shoot our big day. Jo truly helped put our nerves at ease and make our day special. I would recommend her a million times if I could, and I will cherish our wedding (and engagement) pictures forever.

GOODNESS she was available on my date. She took my bridal photos, our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Jo's personality is so friendly and bubbly that it truly made the photos come out even better than I expected from how comfortable she made my husband and I! It felt like a lifelong friend was behind the camera. She knows exactly how to pose you or hype you up during the pictures and then she still manages to capture the beautiful candids inbetween. She arrived early to every session and would scope out the scene to find cute photo ops. When wedding day came around, it was really easy for me to lose track of time but Jo made sure to pull my husband and I aside to get those sunset pictures I had told her I really wanted. Looking through our wedding day album is so surreal. Half the time, I didn't even notice she was there in those special moments that I'll have documented forever. I am so thankful I came across her page. If you are looking for a photographer that over-delivers and that really is your personal Hype-man, I recommend Jordan Spivey! She answered all emails, texts, and questions I had so quickly and was amazing at communicating how everything would work. She was lively, excited for us as a couple, and someone you want to be on your team for the big day. She helped us with poses and made the whole day feel natural. My ENTIRE family still talks about how great and fun she was, and we love giving her name out to anyone who needs a photographer! AZING photographer and person. At our engagement shoot and wedding she made both of us feel comfortable, relaxed, happy, & excited. Obviously, her photos are to die for but she’s the kind of person you just want to have around in your life, especially on your big day! On our wedding day, our ceremony had extremely harsh lighting. But of course, Jo never disappoints. She sent me our photos and I cried. She is magical. She brought our special day back to life for us with our wedding photos. Thankfully, she was free and willing to make the drive to good, ol' Lubbock, Texas to be with us on our special day. The moment she arrived, she instantly started helping me with reception decor and making everyone feel comfortable (despite knowing how stressed out I was)! In the end, she made the photography process of our wedding so much fun and knew exactly which pictures to get without me providing much direction. All of my bridal party kept telling me after the wedding of how great she was. She was always willing to help even if it wasn't dealing with photography (she held my lipstick during the wedding!). She is so sweet, spunky, and always has a smile on her face. She works with you to perfect the type of photos you want and she is prepared with so many different poses that make a great photo. She will leave you wanting to not only have her photograph every event of your life but also wanting to go have a drink with her because she's just so cool. She comes prepared with ideas for photos, but also makes sure to ask if there is anything else we’d like to make sure we get captured. Jordan is incredibly talented, but more than that, she is kind, funny, and professional. I could not recommend Jo enough. You have a blast because she is clearly having a blast, and that comfort and joy among everyone is so evident in the resulting photos. There were so many details that I missed during the day, so many sweet moments between family and friends that I would’ve missed out on completely had she not captured them. She made our entire bridal party feel so comfortable and I got so many complements on how professional and sweet she was as she worked with all of us. She went above and beyond to make sure that she got all of the shots that were important to us. She was patient and kind, even when we got a little behind schedule. Her smile lit up every space she walked into and she never seemed to get flustered at all, even when things didn’t go perfectly according to plan.
