I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience working with Joanna as our wedding photographer. From the first inquiry to the final gallery, every aspect of working with her exceeded expectations. From the very first moment we reached out to Joanna, her communication was prompt, professional, and friendly. Whenever we had questions—whether it was about the timeline, how to prepare for the day—she was incredibly responsive and thorough. On the day of our wedding, she was punctual, organized, and well-prepared. There was never a moment when we felt rushed, but she managed to capture every important moment without wasting time. Joanna was excellent at managing our photo sessions during the day, keeping us on schedule but allowing us the time we needed to enjoy our special moments. We never felt like we were being pulled away from our guests for too long. My partner and I are not exactly pros when it comes to posing, and we were worried about looking stiff in our wedding pictures. Joanna was great at giving us gentle cues—like where to look, how to position our hands, or when to smile. The whole process was fun, and we never felt awkward or unsure of what to do While posed photos were wonderful, what truly impressed us was Joanna's ability to capture candid moments throughout the day. She blended into the background during key moments like the ceremony, reception, and during interactions with family and friends. We were amazed by the photos of us laughing, hugging our parents, or sharing a quiet moment together—these are the photos that we’ll cherish the most. Overall, working with Joanna was an absolute pleasure. She went above and beyond to make us feel at ease, and her professionalism and warmth ensured that our wedding day was documented beautifully. Joanna is such a pleasure to work with! I wanted a specific style for my wedding photos and she captured that style so well. She wasn't afraid to get the fun shots! The quality of the photos is absolutely stunning. She captured every moment perfectly, from the candid smiles to the intricate details of our decor. We were impressed with her ability to make us feel comfortable and natural and it truly shows.

I cannot recommend Joanna enough! She is a wonderful person who is really passionate about what she does. My husband and I decided to ask her to be our photographer for our wedding after looking at her portfolio - we loved her style of photography. She was great at giving directions on posing during engagement and wedding shots. She is super responsive when I emailed her questions and to finalize Day-of schedule. Before she left the wedding, she made sure to find us and ask if there was anything else we wanted to be photographed. We received the sneak peak at our Wedding pictures (wedding was only 1 week ago), and they look SO GOOD. We cannot wait until getting to see all of them! Joanna is such a kind person, really good at what she does - you won't be disappointed by choosing her.

Joanna and her team were absolutely wonderful! We received nothing but compliments from our guest raving about her. She made me and my husband feel so relaxed and was awesome to work with. We already received some previews and they are stunning and we know the rest will be everything we wished for and so much more. She checks every box and is extremely talented! To top it off we unexpectedly lost my brother in law who was my husband’s best man a little over a month after our wedding. I reached out to Joanna explaining the situation and asked if she would have a few pictures we could share at his viewing. Without batting an eye she got me some that same day and was extremely sweet and comforting in such a hard time for us. If you choose her as your photographer you will not regret it and if you don’t you’re truly missing out on a wonderful experience ❤️

So happy we went with Joanna for our wedding!!! She always answered our emails very quickly. Once the day came and we got to meet her, she was amazing at directing/posing us (we didn't have any photo ideas/ shots we definitely wanted). She was super comfortable and fun to spend the day with. And in the end we are soooo happy with our photos!!! She knows whats shes doing and keeps things moving without any stress. I can't recommend her enough!!! You won't regret it!!

Joanna is by far the sweetest person I have met. She made sure our engagement photos came out perfectly. The day of our wedding she absolutely killed it. Rolled with every single last minute change, captured every moment I wanted, and was so friendly. I’ve only seen the sneak peak of our wedding photos but I already know they’re going to be stunning. She is so so talented. I would recommend her 100 times over.

Joanna shot our wedding in Cincinnati in Sept. 2021 and was a dream to work with. My partner and I were coming in from out of state and so could not meet her in person beforehand. However, Joanna was able to make the entire process easy, starting with an initial Zoom meeting. The option to pay in installments was especially convenient for us. The day of, Joanna was on time, professional and friendly. She brought her own suggestions of which shots to get while also being open to our ideas. She also made sure that we got every group photo we wanted with different sets of family, friends, etc. When we finally saw the digital photos (which were delivered on time) we were both amazed at how Joanna seemed to have been everywhere at once! We are so happy with how they turned out. She also sends a wooden keepsake box with selected photos printed out, which is a lovely extra touch. If you have the opportunity to book Joanna for your wedding or any other event, don't pass it up! I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I can’t say enough good things about Joanna. She was simply amazing!! We hired her for my son’s wedding. Neither he or the bride particularly enjoy getting their pictures taken and Joanna made them feel comfortable and beautiful. Everyone at the wedding raved about her! The pictures turned out gorgeous and on top of that, her prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!!

By far the most accommodating and wonderful photographer I’ve ever had. Not only did she arrive earlier than needed she came super prepared and gave wonderful directions and captured our wonderful day! Since she did such an amazing job on our wedding photos we have booked with her quite a few times since & so has other family members.

Our wedding would NOT be the same had Joanna not been our photographer! From start to finish, she made us feel like family, and really focussed on capturing who we were as a couple. Having her bright and uplifting energy around the day of the wedding made for great memories and lots of laughter. She was so flexible and tackled any obstacle the wedding day threw at us, even buttoning up my wedding dress! All of our families and guests LOVED Joanna, and I had so many newly engaged friends ask for her contact information after the wedding. Our engagement and wedding photos are beautiful and really show our personality as a couple. We could not be happier to have such a special day captured so beautifully, and a new friend made along the way!

We loved having Joanna as our wedding photographer this past Fall! Neither my husband nor I are that used to posing for pictures haha ;) but Joanna made it so easy with her creative ideas and it was also a lot of fun! There's a great mix of candid photos and posed photos she took for us though honestly on the posed ones they look all natural, not forced. Joanna was also very quick and knowledgeable at answering our questions and you can tell she really loves what she does! Afterwards the keepsake box with a sweet handwritten note from her was an added bonus too. To sum it up we'd definitely choose Joanna again to capture future memorable moments for us!

Joanna is an Amazing photographer! I am so glad that I was able to find her and make her part of mine and my husband special day. She was so much fun to work with and made the day incredible. She did more then just take photos. She held my phone and ran around telling family what I needed or would check on the groom. Having held our wedding minimony in 2020 without much family present, we hired Joanna to do “wedding” portraits with our parents and siblings on our first anniversary. It was the first time all our family members were together, and some of them were uncomfortable in front of a camera, but Joanna put everyone at ease, even our niece and nephew (ages 6 and 4). She made us laugh and did a great job posing everyone in a way that looked great and natural. She also efficiently captured all the shots we’d asked for, even finishing with some time for a few extra shots. We not only got great family wedding portraits, but we had a lot of fun taking the photos as well. Joanna is professional, efficient, knows her stuff, and creates beautiful images! Hire her!

Joanna is a gem! She is so professional and courteous. She also makes it a point to get to know her clients before the big wedding day. My husband and I are not professional posers but she made it so easy! Joanna honestly made all the difference at our wedding with making sure we were staying on time for things, coming up with ideas for pictures as well as communicating anything we needed to know. We chatted several times before the wedding and she was always quick to respond. We received so many pictures back and we loved every single one. She doesn't just capture the posed pictures, she captures all the little moments which are just as important. I cannot wait to have Joanna take more pictures for us in the future!

Big shout out to my AMAZING photographer Joanna Scholle!!!! She is friend, has a great personality, and is extremely artistic! Anyone needing a photographer she is *THE BEST*! Before our engagement photos I woke up with a huge cyst on my chin. Joanna was able to work with me and photo shop it to where you couldn't even notice it! She did wonders for me so you can TRUST HER!!!! Our wedding pictures were GORGEOUS! During my father daughter dance, I decided to spin into the dessert table a grab a macaron. She was able to capture that moment and put all the pictures together to make a GIF of that moment. Thank you so much Joanna!!! 💕🤗

Joanna was so fun, and so sweet to work with. She was a photographer at my ten year vow renewal ceremony. She did my favorite thing that photographers can do, she gave us a sneak peak the very next day. I also had my full gallery just a couple weeks later. She is very talented, and I love her romantic style. She captured all of my favorite details as well.
