During the ceremony we hardly noticed her taking photos and we were amazed by all the moments she captured and by how natural the results looked. During the shoot in Venice she picked out great spots and poses while also incorporating our own ideas. Joanne did an amazing job and we couldn't be more pleased with the results!

She was very upfront with her pricing and was even flexible with her packages to fit our budget. She is super organized and detail oriented and really paid attention to the "detailed information form" that she asked me to submit. She is very quiet and subtle, which made my husband and I feel more at ease, as we are not the most photogenic people. However, you wouldn't be able to tell in the pictures because she did such a fantastic job and captured many truly special moments throughout the day. She is extremely artistic and talented and can't say enough good things about her work. She exceeded our high expectations and would definitely hire her again in the future. She is amazing!

I wanted my wedding to have a romantic, whimsical, elegant feel to it and I sent her a couple of pictures over email of what I had in mind. She not only captured my wedding perfectly on the day of, but stylistically the pictures came out beyond expectations! It was exactly what I wanted and more. My friends and family have been to a couple of weddings before ours, and they came up to me after they saw my wedding album on Facebook and said she was the best they've seen so far (of course we already knew that - that's why we hired her!) Our engagement shoot turned out amazing too - I honestly think one of the best thing you can find in a photographer is one with an artistic eye - they can turn any moment and any scene into a beautiful one. We went 30 minutes over our contracted time at our engagement shoot but Joanne didn't even mention it at all. She was so sweet and friendly, and she continued clicking away until we got all the shots we wanted. I'm so happy with her work and I would recommend her to anyone that's looking for an amazing, talented photographer who listens and really cares about what you and what you want.

As with all art forms, photography is very subjective, but when my husband and I first met with her, we really liked her artistic style and how she's so down to earth. We've met photographers who are really stuffy and we couldn't be happier with choosing Joanne. She definitely has some magical powers to make us look good in pictures. She may be quiet, but she takes command when needed. She gently guided our engagement and bridal shoots, which was much needed because my husband and I wouldn't have know what to do. We were surprised at how quickly she was able to get the pictures back to us, and we are so pleased at how they all came out. I especially love how she is so meticulous and notices the slightest details. From the time we signed our contract till the wedding day, she is super easy to work with, asks for clarification when needed, and is super responsive. Weddings are stressful events, and you can most definitely count on her. She will not disappoint. Joanne is highly recommended!

I was quite upset at the morning of the wedding day because rainy and foggy weather. I really wanted to have outdoor wedding ceremony. So, I had to move my wedding to indoor which was disappointing. Joanne noticed my feelings and offered an outdoor photoshoot after all day ceremony and reception. She was attentive and focused from the beginning to the end of the wedding ceremony and reception. After hours of photoshooting, I was worried that she might be too tired to do extra hour of outdoor photoshoot. No! I was wrong! she showed true professionalism till the end of her work! She was so energetic and even humorous in cold and rain! She guided us to outside by the lake and forest and took another 1-2 hrs of rare and beautiful photos in fog..She really cheered us up while taking the picture in freezing cold! I can't thank her more for making my dream come true. I really feel like I had my wedding outside because of the outdoor photoshoot. Her true professionalism and talent shined through the worst situation and turn it into the most memorable and beautiful moment!!! She was my best choice from all the vender I had for my wedding. f and my wife a designer we had high expectations. She surpassed all of them. Some people in the arts have natural talent and Joanne is no exception. She is a true artist and has talent that challenges photographers charging 10times her rates. We are truly blessed to have had worked with her and know we could have never done better. laid back about everything. a couple of emails later, i found joanne. thank goodness for her! she was able to work within our budget by editing the current packages offered and taking out all of the extras that we didn't need. i booked her blindly, never actually meeting her or talking to her in person. i trusted yelp reviews alone and decided to go for it. a bold step, i know... but like i said, my husband and i were extremely carefree about our wedding. we didn't even meet her until a month before our wedding since we were living up north at the time. we had an engagement shoot at UCLA. joanne was very timely and professional. my husband and i are pretty awkward in front of the camera since we don't take it very seriously, but she was able to work with us. she was very patient and we relied on her completely for direction since we didn't know what the heck we were doing. as for the day of the wedding, she came early and went straight to work. i didn't even notice she was there for the whole day! that's how good she was. she's quiet and sneaky, jumping in to get the necessary shots and then floats around in the shadows for the night. you can tell right away that joanne's a kind soul, and she was wonderful with all of the guests at the wedding. i appreciated her humble personality and her ability to joke around with us. honestly, i cannot recommend her enough. she got wonderful candid photos from all of our guests and captured more than i even asked for. if i did it all over again, i'd still book joanne in a heartbeat.

Her style is so great. She can get formal shots, but what I really appreicated was her ability to capture the not posed moments, where everyone is glowing with happiness. The final surprise was that Joanne spent hours with us after the wedding exploring the area near the wedding for fun, cool, and totally unexpected pics. She found amazing locations and was clear in her direction for two complete amateurs like my wife and I. Joanne put us at ease, and it shows in the pics. After the wedding, Joanne sent us some teaser pics, which was GREAT! Once we finally received the final pics, they were amazing, so well touched up, very natural, and an amazing pic from every part of the wedding and every person involved. We give Joanne our full recommendation to all of our friends. The pics are a huge hit on facebook, lol. Joanne is really hip and cool, and easy to get along with. Her pics are as good as it gets. Her pricing was the best we found, and the quality was beyond anything we expected!!!

She gives good professional advice. There were some photos that I wanted to change around and she gave me her professional opinion but we tried it anyways. Turns out she knows what she's talking about :) Communication was a bit slow at times, sometimes she took a little longer to respond, however, she was always polite and friendly. I felt she was a great value. I know of people who paid one to two thousand more and got the same quality photos I did.
