hotos. Jodi was all about it. Not only did she express her excitement to capture these requests, but her and her assistant even brought additional Star Wars props. We took photos with the wedding party staging light saber battles between each other as well as some great shots of him and I with our light sabers. When we got back our photos she had photoshopped some of them with Star Wars backgrounds with some AT-ATs, Wing Fighters, Millennianum falcon, and more. Our photos were better than we could’ve imagined. Jodi is the best photographer I’ve ever had and if I could I’d have her photograph all special occasions.

ng. There was so much I looked for in a photographer. Jodi was everything and more. Not only is she super creative and incredibly dedicated to doing whatever it takes for the perfect shot but she was also impeccably organized and stuck to a schedule so that we could get every photo we hoped for and still get to enjoy the rest of our reception. She was like a coordinator and photographer wrapped into one. She handled my very large and loud family with ease and got every shot on our list. She also came prepared with all these ideas for shots and I thought it was so special that she even set up a stunning evening shot for us. Our wedding was on the night of a full moon and we were so excited that she had this amazing idea and brought it into our special day. She was the most fun photographer I’ve worked with and even dances her way across the dance floor to make sure to capture all the fun. We couldn’t be more happy with her work and everything she did for us. From our beautiful engagement photos to the breathtaking photos of our wedding I couldn’t be more impressed and thankful for Jodi and all her hard work! I highly recommend her for all your photography needs! She’s nothing short of perfection!

time our wedding came around he was completely comfortable with Jodi and taking all of the pictures. We just got our photos back and I am so amazed at our photos from our wedding- there are SO many and there has not been a single bad one! work in film so we were very particular about style, framing and coloring and Jodi's work really stuck out to us. And we are so glad we booked with her! After meeting in person, we felt that we really vibed with her and she put our concerns at ease. As I mentioned before, we both work BEHIND the scenes of movies and don't feel very comfortable in front of the camera. But during the engagement shoot, Jodi basically helped us forget that the camera was even there. It felt so natural- like we were just there with a friend instead of a photographer. And the wedding was the same way. Jodi and the second photographer were punctual and very professional! She delivered absolutely stunning photos and paid special attention to all the moments and photos I told her would be important to me. She helped me schedule the day to make sure we got all the photos I wanted (which were a lot!) and helped keep us on track. Overall, we are blown away by her work and are so glad that our special day was so beautifully captured. We will cherish these memories and photos for the rest of our lives! Thank you so much Jodi!!

ly wanting to see the rest. I can't wait. Jodi was in a list of different vendor options in the temecula area provided by my wedding venue. I looked her up on IG and just loooved her style, specifically the photos she took at my particular venue. I reached out, got a quick response back and we scheduled an engagement shoot so that we could all get to know each other. We chose the beach and the photos turned out great, which is why I'm so confident that my wedding photos will too. I was really grateful for the engagement shoot as an introduction, although throughout the entire process, Jodi has been very available for questions and feedback. I was even comfortable enough to ask her for her professional opinion on things like bridesmaid dress colors and whether everybody should look the same or different and what she truly thinks comes out better in photos. As for the wedding, Jodi had such a chill vibe when she was shooting, super relaxed and a good sense of humor. She has the ability to make you laugh at yourself during the shoot so that you end up with great relaxed shots instead of stiff, overthought poses. At both the engagement shoot and our wedding, she took a great variety of photos in different spots, so I'm excited to have a bunch to choose from. All of my bridesmaids loved working with Jodi. And even though having Jodi was like having a friend in the room, she was also all business when necessary to coral the group together to make shots happen in a timely manner. During the family photos, my husband and I's families weren't paying great attention to when it was their time to line up, so it was taking a little longer than I wanted, and she could sense that and did a great job at speeding it up, shuffling people into place, getting the photo quickly, and moving on to the next one. I so appreciated having her at that moment. During the reception, we were all dancing so much and even though Jodi was working, she still was playful with my guests and danced back at people and even got on the floor at one point to change up her angles. My friends were truly raving about how much they enjoyed her being there. Her second shooter, Stephen, was just as friendly with us, making jokes so we'd laugh and relax, and giving great suggestions for poses and backdrops, as well as holding onto my bouquet in between shots that didn't requite that I hold it. Lastly, prior to the wedding, Jodi sent me a rough schedule of how the day would go so that helped me to feel like there was a plan and some organization that would keep the day from getting away from us without getting the photos my husband and I wanted most. Overall, I have loved working with Jodi and will hope to work with her again in the future!

ach. Again, no issue traveling to the location that we picked. About 2 months before the day of the wedding, I sent Jodi an email with a timeline of events for the wedding and reception. I had specific times listed, such as "pictures with Bride and Bridesmaids." I've never been married before and this was new to me, but Jodi was very gracious to suggested some changes that would work best for both what we wanted, and for the convenience of our guests. This was very helpful, as we had planned the wedding on our own without help from a wedding planner. We hired an additional photographer (through one of the packages that Jodi offered) and were happy with the photos that he took as well. I felt that the price for the package that we received was very competitive with other photographers in the area. It took about 2-3 months to get the photos back, but I'm not expert in how long wedding photos typically take to get back - like I said, I've never been married before. I asked some of my friends, and they said they received theirs (from other photographers) anywhere from 2-4 months after the wedding, so no issue there. When we did receive the photos, I figured out why it took as long as it did - there were nearly 2,000 edited photos! There was also a video slideshow that I did not expect - it's fantastic. Overall, Jodi was a great help for us on our wedding day. She replies promptly to every email that I have sent, and showed up on time to the locations that we had selected. Unfortunately, I no longer live in the area, but if I have another event in Southern California that needs a photographer, I will definitely try to hire Jodi again.

me remember how amazing my wedding was. She was so easy to work with and answered all 100 questions and more that i had, even on the weekends! Jodi was very flexible with any request i wanted, one being to not do an engagement shoot ( which was included in the package) but instead a trash the dress. She met me and my bridal party at The Ranch in Laguna Beach the day of my wedding , 5/26/17, to capture me and my girls getting ready. She then drove to Tivolii Too for my cermony and recception. Not only do i highly recommend Jodi and her team but i would re hire her for all my special life events!

We were looking for photographic skill, we didn't even think to consider the personality of the photographer, so God truly blessed us with Jodi being the whole package. We met her for the first time for our engagement photos, and only spoke to her on the phone and through email between our engagement shoot and the wedding. I felt like she quickly became a fabulous resource for my wedding questions and someone I felt instantly comfortable with. As a bride, I leaned more on Jodi, because of her bubbly spirit and confidence, than I did on my coordinator. Also, our pictures are making us look like movie stars. She's incredible. I'd give her an extra star if I could.

Jodi more than met my expectations throughout the entire process from her great personality during the shoot, the many pictures from my special day I get to keep forever, to the customer service side and her prompt responses. h all your poses. We were very pleased with our engagement photos. Wedding day: we were very excited for our photo session on our wedding day. Unfortunately my hair and makeup took an extra 2 hours that put everything off schedule. Jodi went above and beyond and helped set up our venue and had everything ready so when I arrived late, she was completely ready for me. She is very efficient at making the most of the photo time with you so you can get TONS of different shots. Even though I had 1/2 the time for photos because of my other vendor, jodi made it seem like I lost no time at all. By far the best purchase my husband and I made for that day. Well besides the marriage license :) *** one note the 2nd photographer was not there due to illness but Jodi made sure she got all the photos we were scared one photographer could not get*** After wedding- we just received our photos this week and are amazed they look as great as they do. They look like high-end magazine photos out of bride magazines. Over-all my husband and I could not be more pleased with the quality of our photos and we are glad we put photography as our first priority and went with Jodi B Photography.

Jodi made sure to capture all of the "stock" shots that you need at a wedding, but then she also went above and beyond to capture some truly cool (artsy) shots. She was patient, but also "pushed" just the right amount to keep our energy up and keep us in the moment. Jodi even stayed far longer than we paid her for, due to the fact that she wanted to make sure that she did a bang-up job. My (new) wife (Nicole) and I don't write reviews online very often, but I am happy to endorse Jodi B Photography. She delivered the photos on beautifully packaged DVD with a lovely, hand-written thank you card. Of the million decisions (both large and small) that people make when they plan a wedding, this was one of our best! Thank you so much Jodi - you rock!

She's very committed to getting a good shot, and does a great job: some light rock climbing with the camera, balancing on the bow of a sailboat, and the cold onshore wind at the beach - she encouraged us both through all of it (especially the beach shoot, that water was cold!). We cannot recommend her enough.

rs in the San Diego area and had a few narrowed down when my cousin told me about Jodi.... and I am SO glad she did!!! I emailed Jodi and talked to her about what we wanted done. She sounded like a lot of fun and very reasonably priced and she was available when we were traveling to San Diego so we booked her for our wedding photos without meeting her first. I didn't realize how much your wedding photographer can make or break your special day and we are SOOOO happy that Jodi was our photographer! She is so fun & personable. Her photos are amazing!!!! And she makes you feel like a million bucks!!! I SO appreciate her! She was willing to chauffeur us around and spend all afternoon with us making sure we got the photos we wanted and had traveled to San Diego for. She is so creative... making my groom's boutineer out of plants at our hotel :) and she has such a wonderful eye for photography and knows what looks good. She also emailed me photos that I needed for our reception and sent a beautifully packaged CD of all of our photos to us very quickly! She did a wonderful job on editing our photos and any additional questions I have had for her she has got back to me and helped me right away. Once again we feel SO incredibly blessed to have had such a wonderful wedding photo experience with Jodi whom we hadn't ever met or spoken with (only emailed) until the day of our wedding photos.

This girl superceeds world famed photographers and most certainly in our opinion should be working with top modeling agencies and the Vera Wangs. When we actually hired to her to photograph our wedding it was almost as if she was a part of our entire family! She made us all so comfortable, relaxed and even made those smile who hadn't in years! My husband and I had the time of lives and precious moments were captured throughout the entire ten hours that Jodi was with us. We appreciate the hard work she put into it standing, running and knealing all day. I must mention, she did MANY of these photos on SAND as our wedding was held on a beautiful beach summer of 2011. When we received the finished product we were just thrilled!! We are reminded daily when we look at the phots throughout our home of how lucky we were to have such a stellar photographer in Jodi and Jodi B. Photography! Thank you so much!! Lynn ;)

o photograph our big day. I also live in Colorado and she was so easy to work with and plan from another state! On our wedding day, she made everyone feel very comfortable, made us laugh, had fantastic poses and was very professional. She blended in to our ceremony and did not disturb with obnoxious flashes. She was early and dressed professionally, but was still able to move around and do her job. I cannot say enough about how fabulous she was on that day and the photos turned out perfect! I am so glad that I stumbled upon Jodi's site and I would recommend her to everyone out there because she really adapts to your personalities!
