I take photos for you. Imagine if timeless wasn't boring. If luxury also felt raw. Jodi is a published photographer who documents love stories around the globe. Based in Portland, Maine, she believes the best moments in life are messy and imperfect. Her goal is to capture your love in all its messy and imperfect glory. Imagine your favorite movie or book. You can picture the moments that the characters bloomed. You can snap a mental photograph of their facial expressions when they feel "home" with another person for the first time. That's what this is. These are not the photos anyone else is taking. These are raw. These are real, and they're all you, which makes them better. What comes with every wedding I photograph? A best friend who will guide you and actually tell you if there's something in your teeth, who will direct you in a way that never feels posed but allows you to feel safe, confident, and really strut. The best photos happen when you feel unapologetically you.

An adventurer at heart, Jodi is in love with all things outdoors--whether it's climbing, hiking, kayaking, swimming, attempting to surf (and mostly just drinking salt water), or just exploring, there is a reset that takes place in nature. She's lived in 4 countries and her and her dog Glen have spent stints on the road, crossing the desert, soaking up the Southern humidity, basking in the mountains... but home will always be with good people over a delicious meal.

Jodi was amazing! She was open to whatever photos you wanted and needed and even broke it down on the dance floor with the rest of the guests. Definitely recommend!

Jodi gave us the most perfect engagement photo and family ceremony sessions we could have ever dreamt of. To say she went above and beyond to accommodate our asks would be a giant ...
understatement. She flew across the country, drove lots of hours, and adjusted her own personal schedule, all with genuine joy to be with us on important days. We spend 12 hours together bopping around to our favorite spots, and the whole time it just felt like we were hanging out with a best friend. She was gentle and compassionate with our families when photographing intimate moments, and made all of them feel comfortable and considered. She turned our galleries around super quickly, and communicated the status along the way. She’s the best, hands down. Anyone would be lucky to work with her—we sure were.
