lling to play at my charity birthday party to which he replied yes, leaving a paid gig early with all his members. I was not paying him. I knew in that moment and getting to know him and the band I had found my wedding band. Now I just needed to find a husband. 2 years later I introduced Joe & the band to my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day & he too was blown away. Fast forward 4 years and he drove all the way to Hoboken to play 1 song at my proposal. And 18 Months after that the wedding. I tell this long story because it speaks to the kind of person Joe and all of his band members are, good, kind, reliable & truly cares about what they are doing and the people they are doing it for. Joe has been a part of 3 of our friend’s weddings because they are the first we recommend. Robyn is a powerhouse in the band killing Valerie and every song she sings, the instrumentals are incredible and Joe puts on an incredible show, paying close attention to details you ask for while also being an expert in the field & in his craft. If you want a wedding band your guests won’t stop talking about they are it. But more than being one of the top bands along the Jersey Shore & top wedding bands across the state, they are also some of the kindest most genuine people I’ve ever met. Working with Joe was a completely seamless experience and he made one of the biggest decisions we had to make, our easiest decision. We only had a few "do not play" songs and the rest we left up to Joe and the band. We have seen them before down the shore and at other weddings so we knew the energy and excitement we would get. But on our wedding day, they exceeded all of our expectations and more. Two big stand out things that will leave our families with core memories are that the band learned our family's favorite song, Hooked on a Feeling & from our time spent with Joe- we told him stories about my dad's bucket list was to sing Thunder Road at karaoke. Joe did my dad one better the night of our wedding- handed him the mic and my dad encored Thunder Road as the last song of the night. It was absolutely EPIC. We are looking for any excuse to throw another big party to have the band be there, but until then- we will be seeing you all summer long at the Jersey shore! Cheers!

"we really need to write Joe's review." The issue was we greatly struggled as we didn't know how it was even possible to put our experience with Joe and the band into words. In regards to the management, Joe is easily accessible and prompt in his responses. I can't count how many times I texted his personal number to ask a question or make a change. He never made me feel as if these questions or changes were an inconvenience. He created such a comfortable environment to allow for open communication, especially during such a stressful time. However stressed you may be, Joe is calm (which I am very much not) and confident in his abilities, but in no way cocky, which allowed us to sit back, relax, trust his expertise, and literally enjoy the show. Go watch them at a local venue, their performance speaks for itself. You'll be able to experience their talent and energy for yourself. We just had dinner with wedding guests last week who, 8 months later, still can't stop talking about Joe Baracata Band. Communication didn't stop after their job was "done." We remain in contact with Joe via social media watching the band continue to excel and Joe congratulating us on our life milestones. to the wedding, Joe was excellent to work with. Very responsive, insightful, and overall a flawless planning experience. Of course, we went over a playlist and it became very clear that Joe knows how to get the party going with a kickass playlist. It was also great that Joe and his band were able to learn two of Katie and I's requested songs prior to the wedding and they turned out awesome. During the wedding, Joe did a fantastic job MC'ing the event and kept the dance floor going all night long. His members were very engaged and their walks out into the dance floor with the guests brought out some unreal energy and dance moves from all. My personal favorite was when Joe played "Shipping up to Boston" as the dance floor engagement was through the roof. the Joe Baracata Band simply crushed it, and was the number 1 vendor/topic discussed by guests after the wedding. If you are having a wedding in NJ, make sure Joe is on your radar!

We first discovered Joe and his band years ago when we would listen to them at venues along the Jersey Shore (Columns, Parker House, etc.) So when it came time to start planning our wedding, the first phone call we made after firming the venue and date was to Joe. And we did not make any other phone calls to any other bands because we knew from years of watching them play that there was no one better so there was no point – and I can guarantee that they did not disappoint, in fact they completely exceeded already high expectations. People who had seen Joe before were already excited that they were coming to our wedding, and afterwards the entire guest list could not stop talking about how incredible they were – even weeks or months later. Joe is absolutely not kidding when he says that they will play the whole time - only stopping briefly for dinner. The dance floor was completely packed the whole time and people were having the time of their life. They were nice enough to learn a few songs that were really important to us and they absolutely crushed their usual hits – also if you are a Bruce Springsteen fan (like many people at our wedding) no one brings The Boss’ energy quite like Joe and the band with great saxophonist and all! Joe is really invested in putting on a show, playing great music and making your wedding day something people will never forget. He is an incredible communicator and performer so he makes everything incredibly seamless. I've come to the conclusion that it's not possible, but going to do my best to highlight why you should 1000% book them for your wedding. Music was the most important thing for my husband and I when planning our wedding. From years of attending weddings, we knew that every time we went to a wedding with a band, that just took the night to a completely different level. We started the search and were feeling a bit discouraged - there was a lot of great talent but we just couldn't find the one. We heard about Joe from my Dad (through his contact at work) and when we looked him up we saw amazing reviews and some really great videos of previous weddings and performances. Our first conversation with Joe was when we realized Joe Baracata Band was the absolute perfect fit for us and our big day - he was extremely professional yet very personable and laid back. But when we were absolutely blown away and knew that we were making the right decision was when we went out to see them play in NJ and they absolutely CRUSHED it - we had the best time and knew we'd want to come see them play in the years to come. Joe made the planning process very seamless - it helped that they had a rolla deck of songs that were right up our alley but the group wasn't afraid of a challenge either. They learned several new songs we wanted to incorporate into our wedding (even if they weren't really their vibe) and they executed them perfectly. The answer was never a flat out no with Joe & team, they were always willing to try something new and always pulled through for us! However, they also always offered their expert advice with what they felt would work best which I really appreciated, particularly since we didn't have a wedding planner to run ideas by! We also want to mention how amazing John (keyboard) was at helping us with the timeline and particularly figuring out our ceremony!! So now for the big day - I haven't mentioned yet but we got married in Lake Placid, NY in January (-20 degree temps, a lot of snow, and about a 6 hour drive for the band). They happily took the road trip, came in the night before so they could be fully prepped for the day of, and arrived early for the wedding. The entire day could not have run more smoothly, and I have the Joe Baracata team to thank for that. They really coordinated the timeline of our day and brought everything to life. The dance floor was always packed, everyone was singing along and dancing like crazy, and I love that Joe and Robyn came out on the floor and really interacted with the guests! Also did I mention, the skillset of each and every band member is out of this world? I swear there isn't a song Joe & Robyn can't sing. Our guests continue to talk about our band to this day and my husband and I cannot imagine our wedding without them. We can't thank the Joe Baracata crew enough for making it the best day of our lives! And really, if you're torn between groups or not sure if you should pull the trigger on Joe Baracata Band - you CANNOT go wrong with them it will be the best decision hands down. September and the two things people can’t stop talking about is the food and the band! It was better than we could have imagined. We also had the piano player for the ceremony and he learned 3 songs for us to make our ceremony even more personal and special. The reception was epic. 10/10

Joe and I became acquantainces after a few more Shore gigs and was the band of choice after I got engaged to my wife in April 2020. Joe was incredibly flexible and professional throughout the planning process. His band learned a few new challenging songs (i.e. "When You Were Young" by The Killers) and he added a lead guitarist to the cohort upon request. Couples might not consider how important sound quality is to the band's performance. Joe spares no expense. He contracts out one of the most well-respected board operators for his wedding gigs. The equipment is all top notch. Other wedding bands might be caught up tweaking their levels mid-set; Joe's band can focus on delivering the magic to the dancefloor. I have been to 15 weddings since we had ours in October 2021. None of the bands have come close to the energy, clarity, and quality that JBB manifested. I am fortunate to be a friend of legendary NYC Irish Musician Pat McGuire. Pat agreed to fly in from Greece to play his hit "You're So Beautiful" that was featured on the Conan O'Brien show back in the 90's - but needed Joe's band to provide instrumentals. Joe's band was so meticulous in the way they learned the song to best support Pat. They rehearsed it a few times the afternoon of the wedding and delivered a performance commensurate with some of Pat's best from back in the day. If you are in NYC or NJ and thinking of who to book for your wedding, I would text Joe immediately and pray he's available.

nd I were familiar with Joe from working at The Parker House where we heard him play often. When we got engaged we immediately knew we had to hire them for our wedding. I don't know how he does it with all of the many weddings he plays at, but whenever I reached out to Joe he was responsive within minutes! Before the wedding I got to really know Joe and so I had full confidence that the wedding was going to be amazing. Let me tell you that our guests were up dancing the entire night. There was not one dull moment! Not only did they get everyone up and out of their seats but the horn players came out onto the dance floor and interacted with everyone which made it even more fun!!
