Charles is highly experienced and perfectly captured all of the day's events, decor, candid moments and most magical moments. We have photos of everyone who attended. The photos are high quality with a mix of color and black and white. Receiving "Sneak Peek" photos while on our honeymoon was the cherry on top. They were so easy to work with and answer questions along the way. We had the most beautiful wedding at Harrington Farm working with them. ugust of 2025. From our first exploratory call all the way through the receipt of our full wedding photo album, Joe and Elin have been highly communicative, proactive, warm, and helpful. They are consummate professionals and went above and beyond on our wedding day. Joe came in clutch with emergency supplies, like small scissors to cut a loose thread and a cloth towel to wipe off a spot of makeup that ended up on my fiances suit. They warmly and adeptly corralled our families, got the little kids AND grandparents to smile for the camera, taught us all how to pose in each given moment, and above all, made us feel SO comfortable. In particular, they made our first look and our sunset photos so special and memorable. Finally, we were blown away and so grateful to receive our sneak peak (with more photos than we expected!) just ONE DAY after our wedding, paired with a meaningful, personalized blog post about our day. We couldn't have been more thrilled!

Before the wedding, we also used them for our engagement pictures and Joe was so amazing. Our engagement photos were the first time either of had truly been professional photographed and we both felt a little uncomfortable. But Joe immediately recognized that and helped direct us with positioning and made it so much fun! The photos were stunning, even if the weather didn’t cooperate with us. The professionalism from both Joe and Elin was amazing and would 100% recommend them!

Aside from photos: Joe is just a really good guy and wonderful to work with. From our first consultation through picking up the final albums, he is attentive to his clients and really takes the time to understand their needs. He is very experienced and covered things that we never would have considered and provided great advice based on our day-of timeline and our venues. During the events, he blended into the crowd and somehow managed to capture incredible moments without us realizing he was there; I did several double-takes when viewing our photos because I honestly had no idea he was shooting at certain points. He took stunning, phenomenal, downright perfect pictures of everything throughout the day. He had a great eye for picking out specific spots to shoot. Overall he's an excellent photographer, efficient at working through shot lists and maximizing location options, and can unobtrusively ninja through a reception to get pictures that capture the authentic moments through the evening. While we don’t plan on having another wedding, we do plan on using Joe Dolen Photography in the future.
