times before my wedding - just not my style. He proceeds to take photos even after I asked him in person to stop, he says "I promise you'll love them". I didn't want them taken in the first place and I did not "love them". I gave him a detailed list of the photos I wanted, which he looked at once and did not follow. I had my dogs there to be photographed, which he kept asking people to move them out of the shots. I kept asking for shots away from a vintage car that was on site, which he only responded with "just a few more". My mother asked for some specific shots, which he said no to (but lets the flower girl dictate a photo pose?). I asked for full length photos to showcase my dress, which he responds "that's not usually how it's done". After informing Joe of my disappointment due to the missing photos, editing that I didn't particularly like, and my dress being cut out in majority of the shots I was hoping to see it in, he responded in a manner trying to justify why he edited them the way he did rather than helping fix them. He sent me before and after photos to show how he edited them, and I liked the before photos better (warm tones, no paper-white faces, natural-looking photos). He responded by saying how expensive his equipment is and how the overcast lighting was terrible (even though when he got there he was raving how that takes the best photos). Joe ignored my numerous requests for the raw images, instead only re-editing the ones I requested, which I appreciated but I did not see a difference so I requested the raw images for a fourth time. He finally said no because it's not in the contract (when his reasons earlier was that I don't have the correct software to view them). I cannot image another bride feeling the way I do, I recommend finding a different photographer.
