Joe photographed our wedding in the fall of 2018. From the start, he was very professional, and his available services and packages are well-priced and of high quality. He was very...
willing to let us piece together our package to ensure we got exactly what we wanted and in our budget.
Up to our wedding, he kept in touch and his online process for payments was very user-friendly. We live out of town, so these conveniences made the process less stressful. The email reminders were also appreciated, due to how hectic the wedding planning process can be.
Prior to the wedding, we were able to discuss all the details of the wedding pertaining to his services - to include his request for specific moments of the events and items that we wanted to be sure he captured.
The day of the wedding, Joe arrived early to get a feel for the church and atmosphere. He was fantastic to work with throughout the entire day. During the reception he really makes a point to not impede on the event - with still managing to capture all the little moments. Compliments were made all day from our guests of how great he was.
Within a month after the wedding, we received all our photos (sneak peek in less than two weeks). He uses his website to share them - which is very user-friendly and password-protected. They are all perfect, and 100% captured our beautiful day!
I'd highly recommend getting the leather photo album. The process is super simple, and Joe puts it together so well! It is very high quality - to include the photo paper.
If you're getting married in the Pittsburgh area, check out Joe Shannon Photography!

ed the actual photos from the wedding very quickly afterward, and they were so great! Joe was also flexible when we ended up changing our whole wedding around- changed venues and dates and he was open to the change! I'm so thankful he was available for our new date because I will cherish these photos forever.
Joe was absolutely fantastic during the entire process. From the initial meeting to the wedding day, Joe was easy to contact and was flexible around our schedules. From day one Jo...
e was focused on meeting our wants and needs for the wedding day. He had great suggestions for types of pictures and captured every important moment of the day. I would highly recommend Joe for anyone who wants a photographer who is easy to work with. We were very happy with the quality of the photos and the overall experience we had with Joe.
We were very pleased with Joe's photography services. We had a small, laid back wedding in some unique venues, and didn't feel like we needed the whole "12 hours of coverage, 2 ph...
otographers and a videographer for $4000" minimums that a lot of photographers had, so after some research and seeing his positive reviews on here, we contacted Joe. He was perfect for us! He needed very little direction during the day, which was great because obviously we were a bit busy, haha, and our photos turned out beautifully. There was a wonderful mix of portraits, "action" shots, shots of our venues, and all the other little details you'd want such as the rings, flowers, etc. We just wanted classic, timeless photos to help us remember our day, and that's exactly what we got. On top of that, Joe was just such a lovely person to work with. We highly recommend him!

lance of providing creative ideas, while incorporating any requests. We communicated with him multiple times prior to our wedding with picture ideas and suggestions and he was very responsive and included all of our requests in the final product. Our pictures look classic, yet have the modern touch. We are so happy with our pictures and highly recommend Joe Shannon Photography!
Joe is an amazing photographer who captured our day just the way we invisioned! He has such a way with the camera, we never saw him throughout the ceremony but moved throughout the...
guests and the venue capturing amazing shots! He puts such a unique vintage look to his photos, which is why we loved him so much! We got so many complements on our wedding photos and have recommended him to a lot of family and friends! He was so easy to work with and took any ideas and suggestions with ease and excitement! He was fast with his work and had our album ready to view within 2 weeks, also sending us teasers throughout then to get us excited! Thanks Joe Shannon for capturing the memories we will have forever!
Where do I begin?! Joe did an outstanding job at our wedding. We didn't have a traditional wedding and had some changes the day of - Joe took it all in stride and was fully engaged...
and present for the entire day. He was friendly with all the guests and was excellent at moving smoothly through the crowds and capturing all the best photos.
The most impressive aspect of Joe's business is his ridiculously fast turn-around on getting the finished product back to us. We had link to all our photos, as well as a flash drive, within 2 weeks.
When looking for a photographer, we had a very hard time finding someone that wasn't the same old boring photographer, just going through the motions. We were referred to Joe and he was very thorough with his preliminary conversations, asking us what we wanted and continually emphasizing this was our day and his main focus was to give us peace of mind. We are a big fan of the candid shots and Joe did an excellent job capturing all the important moments as well as all the smiling faces of our guests. His style is modern and it's apparent that he loves what he does.
We would hire Joe again in a heartbeat. Not just for weddings but for any type of celebration or event - his prices are incredibly affordable. Don't tell Joe but he could charge double and still make his clients feel as though they're getting a deal.
5 of 5 stars - Thank you Joe!

e an unobtrusive photographer the day of the wedding, but his turnaround time in the completion of our photos was appreciated. Within a few weeks we had our pictures and were able to create Thank-You's and print pictures for our home. Joe's perspective when taking our pictures was unique. He grabbed beautiful shots that many other photographers would have ignored. Finally, Joe was super reasonable and pleasant. I highly recommend him if you are in the market!

e stunning. Not to mention that we didn't wait long for our photos following the wedding. Also, I feel that Joe provided top quality work for a fraction of the cost of other photographers. I highly, highly recommend him and cannot say enough good things about Joe and his work.
