Joe Squared

Joe Squared Productions was in charge of the decor for our wedding on June 18, 2022 at our country club. Unfortunately, our experience with Joe and his team was not what we had hoped for. The draping looked like it was hung by a child and the lighting was insufficient. Despite our agreements, specific items were not delivered, and we had to pay for them in advance. On the day of the wedding, we found out that Joe had left the ballroom 45 minutes before the reception was scheduled to start, and the staff at the country club found boxes of lights on the floor. We had to leave the reception to call Joe to come fix the lighting because it looked like a doctor's office. We were disappointed that the room did not feel like a nightclub, as we had expected. We also had difficulty communicating with Joe leading up to the wedding, as he took days to return our calls. We received approximately 40% of the total bill as a reimbursement for non-deliverables, which took over 5 weeks to receive. In retrospect, we should have paid more attention to the negative reviews of Joe Squared Productions and ensured that we had a signed contract that included a clause for a full refund for non-deliverables. We hope that our experience can serve as a warning to other potential customers.
