was a windy day and very cold. She said she felt fine to go ahead and continue pictures so I agreed thinking she could make them look nice and that if there had been an issue and she was not confident with how they would turn out due to the weather she would reschedule. That was my mistake because they came out awful. I am so upset and so disappointed. I paid $250 for a half hour and 20 pictures. She provided 40 pictures but quantity doesn’t equal quality and there is not one single picture from the shoot I will be using. Honestly I deleted the entire email of photos she sent because I am so upset and they are so bad. I had let her know I was not happy I politely asked to reshoot or for a refund of some kind. She denied both. And said I could spend $50 on a 10 photo reshoot. She did edit an additional 10 photos from our original shoot to see if I would like any of them better but these photos were worse than the original ones she had sent. I am over all just very sad and very disappointed. This is not something my fiancé and I do often and I was was very excited to have nice photos of us. This experience really was a let down. I would post a photo as evidence but honestly I’m extremely embarrassed. **update*** She was not “blind sided” as we had an entire conversation of me begging to reshoot giving her the benefit of the doubt that it was an off day because her website did not look like this. When she wouldn’t I asked for a refund and expressed how I really was not happy and how everything was just awkward. She said she “stood by her work” she said no one else had ever told her they didn’t like their photo. Another persons review on “the knot” says otherwise (and they were someone’s wedding photos and involve breach of contract). I believe her edits are just filters and lots of color enhancing not actual edits. She even provided “glamor edits” within 5 minutes to see if I would like them which was a weird and distorted makeup filter over my face in serval pictures. The reason I didn’t want the focus on my pregnancy is because it is still very early and I have not even shared with many friends or close family members yet. Which I had told Joelle during our session. In fact I didn’t even tell her I was pregnant a referral told her. The fact that she even brought that up during a response to a negative review is completely inappropriate and shows a level of unprofessionalism I didn’t even think was possible. I don’t think I’m a model by any means but my self confidence is not that low. When I said I was upset and “struggling” I got so emotional because these pictures were so important to me and she wouldn't budge and I started to blame myself. But it is not my fault that I got ripped off and bad photos. I was so polite when I had told her I wasn’t happy. I debated even saying anything at all but was encouraged to speak up because they were expensive and I really wanted to love my photos. She didn’t show me the photos as they were taken. She stopped at the end and quickly ran through the photos on the tiny little camera screen. As someone who doesn’t know a thing about photography I was not very critical of the 1 inch by 1 inch screen and the rapid run through of pictures. When I actually got the photos back however I was able to see how terrible they are. None of my pictures are “wind blown” they are just bad photos. You can tell she’s has no professional training and was probably a bored house wife who got a Nikon for Christmas and decided to make a career of it. How absolutely horrific.

reception for wanted photo opportunities. My photos are not what I expected and I still have not received my wedding canvas from our wedding 9/17/2022. Early on she had several excuses… her health, she thought her husband was taking care of ordering the canvas etc. She has not responded to our last several emails requesting an update on the status of the canvas. She did mail me the raw digital photos, which are useless to me since I do not have a device to put these in, nor do we know how to edit photos. When she sent the raw digitals there was a note stating my canvas was ordered, that was months ago. She has failed to uphold her end of the contract and has been evasive and dishonest. She has been paid in full for all services, which she has not fulfilled according to the binding contract.

d out AMAZING. She helped me make a boudoir book for my husbands wedding gift and made me feel confident the entire shoot. And the day of our wedding, Joelle and her husband were incredible. They showed up on time, and got all the shots I wanted and then some. I 100% recommend Joelle to any bride.
