Hello, my name is DJ Joey B. I am based out of Durham, NC, but travel all over the state. My job is to make your next event, One To Remember! I do not scratch, I just play the best music tailored to your event.
I have been DJing professionally for more than a decade. I have had the opportunity to DJ all types of events. I truly enjoy being around the crowd and getting energy from people enjoying the music I am playing. I make sure each event is as unique as the people who attend them.
I’m all about creating amazing wedding experiences with a keen eye for detail and superb time management. My clients often praise how I keep everything on track, making sure key moments like the cake cutting happen without a hitch. I’m known for my organizational skills and flexibility, effortlessly handling last-minute changes and reminding everyone of important tasks.

When it comes to music, I’ve got you covered. I offer a wide range of music choices and can suggest the perfect songs to match the party’s vibe. Whether it’s creating a fun, lighthearted atmosphere or playing that special song for the first dance, I aim to make every moment memorable.
I’m also very versatile and adaptable. From providing wedding music in different locations to coordinating with day-of coordinators and setting up extra equipment, I handle it all. I’m ready to tackle any unexpected situations and go above and beyond to help with both setup and take-down, making sure everything runs perfectly.

However, not only did Joey keep the music and energy going, he was also very helpful as a wedding timeline keeper/coordinator. At the wedding, he was an absolute star! He played a fantastic set with several genres that we had requested throughout the night. All of our guests said they hadn't danced that much in years! Even when it rained for about 20 minutes, people were still on the dance floor having the time of their lives. for the day of our event, and made sure that all details were discussed prior to the big day. In addition to standard DJ details, Joey helped us finalize our day of timeline. When it came to the day of, he had a set up for the ceremony, and a separate system for the reception. Microphones were provided, and he even took the initiative of setting up an extra speaker outside for our cocktail hour so all of our guests could enjoy the music without having to be inside. He worked so well with my day of coordinator and photographer on my wedding day to ensure that everyone was on the same page and the day went smoothly. Joey truly went above and beyond for us in more than one way, and I would without a doubt hire him again!
