We had such a good experience with John! He was a great DJ, but also went above and beyond that role. He was SO responsive and helpful and made our day exactly as we wanted. He also brought fans to keep us cool, brought us water throughout the day, and even met us at the buffet to bring our dinner to the table for us. He was so kind and detail-oriented, brought high quality equipment, and ensured everything ran smoothly. We are so happy with our choice in DJ and would highly recommend John for any wedding or event!

Working with John was an absolute breeze! He responded right away every time, was very clear, and listened to what we wanted...not what everyone else wanted so that the day ran perfectly. In addition, he provided support for the rest of the plannjng process - using his experiences to bring up minute details that we hadn't thought about yet. I'd highly recommend him to anyone!

First of all, John was more than half the price than other DJs I looked at and came an hour before my ceremony started to set up free of cost! John answered all my emails within the day and sometimes within the hour of me sending them which is so helpful as a bride needing to figure things out to plan accordingly. Furthermore, John made me feel at ease about all the music and I was not worried about it at all for the day of the wedding. He went over the whole day in detail with me and sent me small clips of any special songs I wanted to make sure they were all correct. On the wedding day John arrived an hour early, set up a ceremony spot and reception spot, and did sound checks with the musician all without me even knowing. John helped make sure we followed the timeline and got everything done on time. John also brought my husband and I food and drinks while we were taking pictures before dinner. John went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and that the day went perfectly. Thank you John!!!

John was amazing to work with! He was so friendly and responsive during the whole process which helps put a stressed out bride at ease. His prices were also amazing. He was more than half of the cost of other DJs I contacted. During the reception he even came up to the head table to ask if anyone needed any drinks which was so sweet and thoughtful! He also executed the music perfectly! The dance floor was hopping! If you need a DJ, look no further John is your guy!

John had very good communication and was very thorough during the process leading up to our big day. Our wedding was a very hot, outdoors, and in a non air conditioned barn. He went above and beyond by providing with us brides with personal fans and sweat towels (much needed and appreciated). John was very prompt and helpful in keeping the day on track. The only improvements we would suggest from him is a larger presence behind the dj booth during the “open dance floor” time and to be louder for the announcements (our venue was open and spread out). His experience and knowledge is definitely a trusted source, you won’t be disappointed.

We booked John to DJ our September wedding. John went above and beyond your typical DJ services. He was wonderful to work with and incredibly helpful. Not only did he make sure that the music was perfect for my ceremony/reception, but he offered additional help wherever needed. For example, he refilled my drink when empty, carried my plate of food back to the table for me, and even provided individual fans to help keep us cool at the head table (it was quite a warm day). He even got a photo of us during our private last dance (he was actually the only one around who did) and sent it to us after the wedding. If you are contemplating booking John for any type of DJ services, DO IT!

John was the most responsive person I have ever worked with. Not just for our wedding, ever. He was so professional and kind throughout the process. When I asked him at the end of the wedding night if there was anything we could do to help support his business he said leave a review because he hopes his grandkids can look at them one day and know he was an honest hard working man.

We hired John through the great reviews from The Knot. He was amazing! Professional, easy to work with, adjusted easily to requests and requested announcements that we forgot to communicate to him, and went above and beyond. The wedding was at a barn and it was hot. He brought individual fans that he had charged up for each member of the wedding party. Incredibly thoughtful.

John is the BEST! He is responsive (sometimes within minutes of sending him an email) and professional. He DJ'd for our daughter's wedding and went over and above our expectations. He set up for the ceremony which was outside, the reception which was in one bldg and the cocktail hour coordinating sound system with a keyboard player in a 3rd location on site at the wedding venue. He also kept the day and evening flowing making sure the guys and the girls that were getting ready in separate locations at the venue were lined up and ready on time for the ceremony, did introductions for the speeches, bridal party and special songs. He even edited the father/daughter song Butterfly kissed so that it was a more reasonable length at our request keeping the final verse and providing it over a week in advance for us to listen to and it was flawless! He worked with the couple on their playlist and their do not play list ahead of time so that it was just so smooth - everyone had a great time and danced the night away! He even made sure there were napkins on the cake table when he saw there were none laid out. He is truly the best and I would hire him again for any occasion,

John was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. He was quick to respond and always provided great insight. Plus, he put my husband and I first for our reception. His knowledge was so helpful and made the day incredibly smooth! Could not say enough good things about John!!

John was everything we could have asked for in a DJ and then some. He was the most prompt of any of our vendors - responding within minutes usually. He thought of everything and was super flexible and easy to work with. Our dance floor was packed the entire time - he did an awesome job playing all the right songs and he ensured he had the right music for our special songs. He also ensured that on the day of the wedding, he never rushed us but stood waiting at the ready for whenever we were ready to do the next thing. The value for his services is incredible too. He even got us drinks from the bar so we didn't have to! He is the best! I cannot recommend him enough!

John was an absolutely amazing DJ! He was incredibly quick with replies, was very detailed in getting to know us and what we wanted, and took his time making sure everything was perfect for us. He took it upon himself to check in with our officiant and bridal party before our ceremony to make sure everyone was set, which was one less thing for us to try to coordinate, and checked in frequently throughout the night. We put together a list of songs that we wanted with a few special adds for special dances, John not only sent us clips to ensure it was the correct version that we wanted but also sent us an MP4 to listen to that he had edited for a special mother and daughter dance. John’s talent and ability to read the room got everyone on their feet, and his interaction with guests added an incredible energy to the night. What truly stood out was his unexpected kindness in providing wedding coordinator services without being asked. Additionally, his thoughtful gesture of providing accessories like mini-fans for each bridal party member was a delightful touch. On top of it all, he even took a few photos on the side, capturing moments we’ll treasure forever. With his wealth of experience, it’s astonishing that he remains so modestly priced. John is a very professional DJ with so much more! I don't think our wedding day could have gone any more smoothly and that goes a large part to him. John went above and beyond for our wedding 7/15/23 at Hidden Vineyard. Throughout the entire planning process he was attentive and gave excellent advice on planning and music. He was careful to ensure all of our suggested songs were correct before adding them to his playlist, was very accommodating to changes we made, and overall made the planning process so much easier. On the wedding day EVERYTHING went off without a hitch and we couldn't have done it without John. It was 90+ degrees and he even brought mini fans for the bride + groom and some of our older guests :) I cannot recommend John enough! If you're unsure, just go for it. This is a DJ who will not only provide the music but fetch you cold drinks after your 90-degree outdoor ceremony!! John was absolutely wonderful and went out of his way to cater to our special requests. We chose to have a friend play guitar during our ceremony, and John was completely flexible about only covering reception music. We had a small wedding (approx. 70) but John kept everyone out on the dance floor. He understood our musical style perfectly (we both swing dance, and it was a big part of our wedding) and knew how to mix in our requests at the right moments. Our guests, young and old, had the time of their life. He made sure to get the correct version of our first dance song, even though it was by a lesser-known artist. He even mashed together two songs to create a special dance for my dad and I. He also went along with a few novel ideals, including a unique anniversary dance game. We really appreciated that he was open to our suggestions and let us get creative with how the night went. Most importantly, he sent us files ahead of time so that we knew the songs would sound perfect. He's great at getting back to you through email or phone. Highly, highly recommend.

John provided an exceptional experience, going above and beyond our expectations. Not only did he provide a wonderful DJ service by playing requested songs, but he kept our evening itinerary moving. As Bride and Groom, our focus was on greeting and conversing with guests. John kept us on task and provided the little extras that we weren't expecting. For example, he helped the decorators with last minute details, carried our salads to our table for us, provided small fans at our table when it became quite warm with the evening sun blasting through the windows, helped keep order by sending our guests table to by table through the buffet line, announced our blessing giver, toast giver, cupcake baker, and helped us gather groups for pictures. Honoring our request to play the ND and NE fight songs was another highlight. Many of our guests commented on his services and pleasant personality. We only have wonderful things to say about John. He did a tremendous job at our wedding reception and we highly recommend him.

John did an exceptional job at our wedding in Jan. 2023. He was very thorough with his questionnaire leading up to our wedding and answered all of our questions. He helped guide us with his expertise when we were planning, as well as during the ceremony with timing everyone to walk in/organize everything. John even went above and beyond to make sure both my husband and I had drinks ready for us when we walked into the reception and tissues at our table!! He made sure everyone was dancing and his song selection for the night was top notch! He even made sure to encourage everyone to sign our guest book and hit the photo booth! John was absolutely wonderful to work with and we'd recommend him to everyone! If we could give him more than five stars, we would! Thank you, John, for everything you did at our wedding!!

John over exceeded our expectations for our DJ. Durning the wedding planning process, he was always quick to respond to emails and provided insight if we had any questions. Not only was he on top of the music the day of the wedding, but he made sure we stuck to a timeline. John is very nice and professional I would recommend him to anyone, as we had a great experience, his price was fair, and he cares about his job and your day! John was an amazing DJ for our wedding. Thorough communication with John began immediately after booking him. He would send reminder emails of when important things were due. John did a great job setting up music for our beach wedding and making sure our officiant had a microphone so we all could be heard. John has a huge catalog of music to choose from and also sends out the most requested and popular playlists if you're looking for help. During our reception, John kept me and my husband up to date when the dinner service was running late. He did a great job helping to organize our table dash photos. He sent clips to make sure all of our important songs were the correct versions. We sent a full playlist for our reception and John stuck to our requests. We let John choose the song for our last days at the reception and it was the perfect selection. He had everyone at the reception on the dance floor circled around my husband and me, dancing and singing. I would 100% recommend John for your event. Not only was his work impeccable, his prices were great compared to other DJ services that we found. John was a very large part in making our day go flawless and stress free. We are so happy we chose John to be a huge part of our big day.

John was by far my easiest vendor. Always got back to me right away and answered questions I didn't even know I had. Would highly recommend him to anyone needing a DJ!

John has been incredible through this whole difficult journey of mine. We had to reschedule our wedding because I needed brain surgery and was met with so many challenges. He was so understanding. Then we ended up canceling due to increasing health problems. He gave our deposit back! And was so nice. He is very easy to communicate with and very prompt. Highly recommended!

We simply don't have enough space in this review to mention all of the wonderful things about working with John! He was our absolute favorite vendor to work with for our wedding. We knew we didn't want a flashy DJ with a "production-company" vibe, we didn't want to break the bank, and we wanted our wedding music to reflect who we are as a couple. DJ John completely delivered on all of these things! He was incredibly responsive throughout the process (which can often be hard to find in a wedding vendor) and was very accommodating of our music desires for the evening (including our reception playlist and a specific starting point in the song for the bride processional). He was not only a terrific DJ on the night of our wedding by keeping the dance floor lively, but he was also an excellent emcee and did a wonderful job of interacting with the crowd for things such as shuttle announcements and interviewing the "winners" of our anniversary dance. He even went above and beyond in his role as a DJ by providing recommendations of other vendors in the area during the wedding planning process and even carrying the dinner plate for one of our guests with a disability from the buffet table to his guest table. We received endless compliments from our guests about DJ John and feel so lucky to have gotten to work with the best DJ in Southwest Michigan (and, I'd argue, the entire Midwest!). He will forever be one of the greatest choices we made about our wedding day!

We can’t say enough great things about John! The amount of value he provided to our day exceeded our expectations. From the start, John was very quick to respond and answer any and all of our questions. Leading up to the wedding, he had a simple questionnaire for information he needed and provided clips of all our special songs to ensure he had the correct version of each song. The day of our wedding was seamless and John was a big part in timing of our events. He’d check-in with us to see if we needed anything and give us timing reminders of what was upcoming. The playlist we originally provided for dancing wasn’t playing out as we expected and John was able to switch up the music on the spot to keep the dance floor full all night. John did a wonderful job as our DJ in August. He had great communication with us prior to the wedding, he was always VERY quick to respond and made sure he had every detail exactly right. Day of he arrived early and worked to set up indoors and outdoors. He did a fantastic job keeping the dance floor going and played just the right mix of variety for us. He is very reasonably priced for his skill and the amount of effort he puts in! Would 100% recommend!

I seriously cannot begin to express how incredible John was. He was a blast to work with. My now-wife and I have a very eclectic music taste, and we also chose that vast majority of our songs ourselves. John was able to work with that and absolutely killed it! Not only that, he went above and beyond his DJing services. He carried our food back to the table during dinner and found time to get the OK from us for certain song portions during the night. He does announcements for your party and does a great job choreographing portions of the night. All in all, I cannot recommend him enough.

John provided DJ services for our 50th Anniversary party - he was great! He was very attentive and helped manage the evening. He was very easy to work with and played all the music we requested. We highly recommend him.

John was a class act as the D. J. for my son's wedding reception! He was extremely thorough in preparation ahead of the event, gave us extensive resources and input to assist with planning, and worked seamlessly with our wedding planner the night of the wedding to ensure the event went off beautifully. From moving the schedule around to accommodate last minute changes, to being our announcer for all the transitions, John took the worry and stress away and allowed us all to relax and enjoy the reception.

Very responsive, organized and easy to work with! John thought of everything including all the stuff we had not!! We really enjoyed working with him! It is a stressful, super busy day. John was absolutely PHENOMENAL! He got so many compliments from our guests! He does not just come and set up a dj table and play music all night, he goes above ajd BEYOND! He arrive pleanty early to get himself set up and organized, he helped make mine (the bride) and other guests plates in the buffet line that needed help, he coordinated with other vendors the day of so we didnt have to stress about it, he triple checked important songs beforehand including sending a clip to make sure he had the right ones. He rolled with the last minute change of order to our bridal party line up MINUTES before the reception entrance. Most importantly he made sure we were having fun and kept the crowd dancing! I cannot speak highly enough of him! A true old fashion professional!

John made our day stress free. Our original DJ got COVID and John stepped in with 3 days before our wedding and did not miss a beat. He worked with our other vendors and made everything go seamlessly. He is timely and very professional. He kept us informed all throughout the wedding and was very flexible with his timeframe which let us run off and get some photos done. We would highly recommend him!
